The Emperor's Omega Is An Extra-Chapter 330: Enmity OF Two Lifetimes
Chapter 330: Enmity OF Two Lifetimes
Between the two sides, only one deserved to win, only one had to win.
In the enmities of two lifetimes, there was only one conclusion.
Their gazes stared at each other, distinct and different from the other other. One held an emotionless yet indescribable depth, while the other was confused but menacing at the same time.
The Marquis furrowed his brow and was about to get up from the ground, but he could only groan as Spade’s foot put him in place. Instantly, his eyes became filled with anger, not accepting the humiliation Spade’s action gave him.
"What do you mean by that?" The Marquis asked, confused by Spade’s words. Even though the madness and insanity were still evident in his eyes, he was rational enough to have a conversation with Spade.
In this position and angle, Spade was dominantly looking down on the Marquis, making the latter extremely pissed. He wanted to get up, but it was as though Spade’s foot was such huge steel that he couldn’t get up at all.
Instead, he could only glare at Spade. The disparity between the strengths of the two was obvious.
Spade didn’t answer for a while; his gaze was only dead set on the Marquis, and his thoughts were difficult to discern.
The Marquis became even more angry by this; he had no choice but to let his pheromones try to overwhelm Spade. However, the result was far from satisfactory.
His eyes widened in disbelief; this blow seemed even greater than the humiliation that he was in.
"You... How?"
His pheromones were completely unable to overpower Spade! Instead, Spade’s dominant pheromones were the first to suppress his pheromones, lingering in the air, ready to devour any prey in its way.
The Marquis was about to say something again, but he was forced to shut his mouth because of the suffocating pressure that suddenly pressed on him.
This was such a surprise for the Marquis, as his control over his pheromones was continuously improved by him through various experiments and drugs.
It wasn’t even impossible to control his occasional rut in the future. That is to say, the organization’s research on pheromones was far more advanced than anyone else’s.
Not only him but even the organization agents were affected as they all furrowed their brows, maintaining their posture despite the overwhelming pressure Spade’s pheromones emitted.
If not for their bodies and mentality being akin to that of an emotionless robot, they would have long submitted to it.
The Marquis, after coughing a few times, continued to glare at Spade, wanting to hear the answer or if he could force the answer from Spade’s mouth.
"Tell me!" Again, he almost screamed; the once calm demeanor immediately shattered, and his face was so fierce that the wrinkles in his face became prominent because of this.
If Arren were to see this, he would confirm that the Marquis was indeed a monster. Red lines appeared in his eyes, and the veins in his neck revealed themselves. free𝑤ebnovel.com
It was as if he was on the verge of rampaging.
Spade’s brow only shot up from this, his emotionless face not having any reaction apart from that.
A few seconds later, he slowly bent down slightly, putting more pressure on his foot.
Spade’s mouth then opened and moved, whispering something. At this, the Marquis became even more furious, the red lines in his eyes almost made his eyes crimson, and his pheromones became more chaotic.
Finally, in this reaction, a little emotion flashed across Spade’s eyes, his lips curling up into a teasing smirk.
"You’ve become weak..." he whispered. The ridicule was present, seething with each word.
"You dare..."
"And what?" Spade didn’t let the Marquis finish with his words, coldness returning in his eyes. "I’m telling the truth."
With the Marquis glaring at him, he calmly continued.
"You’re more powerful then," Spade recounted honestly; there wasn’t any hint of sarcasm in his tone. He licked his lips and chuckled without any humor as it receded, making his gaze far colder. "You made me so infuriated and frustrated then.
"Each day, I’m thinking of you... I’m thinking of the day I’ll finally crush your skull with my hand..." Spade finished between his gritted teeth, motioning with his hand, and clenched it into a fist as though crushing the Marquis’ skull into it.
Soon, painful groans sounded in the background. Not only from the Marquis but also from the agents and some from the empire forces, which were able to get a whiff of those raging pheromones.
Spade didn’t even care about them or the confusion that was in the Marquis’ eyes with what he said.
"But... I’m not satisfied." Spade thought of that time.
He was already so broken that he always longed for the day he would kill the Marquis, avenging the death of his omega. Yet, when the day it finally happened... Spade didn’t feel any satisfaction or relief.
He only felt so empty.
As he looked at the aftermath and with all the things that happened, Spade knew he wasn’t the winner.
It was self-destruction, and Spade was in no way different from the Marquis then. He was also a monster—a broken monster.
And so what he said—that the Marquis was so powerful then—was true. The leader has not reached the peak of his past’s him. After all, Spade had foiled his plan early, and the plans that would come to fruition in the future were immediately nipped in the bud.
The war that would soon also spread around the world didn’t happen.
It seemed that Spade was cheating because of his past memories, but he didn’t care. Who would care?
"You’re insane..." the Marquis managed to blurt out. It was ironic coming from him, but Spade laughed.
It was such a laugh that, almost giving the once confident Marquis the chill, it not only reached his bones but his soul.
Spade’s eyes’ gleamed, and he continued to laugh, but it almost sounded like a howl.
Hearing this, Arren, who was being protected at the back, took a step forward; his heart was so worried. He had never seen Spade like this. He wanted to embrace him; he wanted to tell the alpha that he was there with him, just like Spade always did to him.
Once he calmed down somewhat, he exhaled and nodded.
"Yeah... I was insane." Spade admitted, he was insane, not less than the Marquis.
However... He wasn’t anymore.
Thinking of the present, Spade subconsciously turned around. Immediately, his eyes met those pairs of enchanting eyes. At this moment, all of the things... The grievances of the past—the pain and loneliness that somehow reemerged deep within his heart from the memories had faded in an instant.
Yeah, he wasn’t a broken monster anymore.
