The Dragon Lord's Aide Wants to Quit [BL]-Chapter 358: The Reflection (M)
There was really no arguing his case.
The mirror in front of him couldn’t possibly be lying, and at the moment it was telling a story that had Riley’s head spinning.
As Kael took him from behind, Riley had no choice but to confront his own reflection.
His eyes were blown wide, hooded and hazy with a dark, liquid heat that he could hardly recognize as his own.
Every time Kael’s hips drove forward and crashed against him, Riley watched his own expression change, his features contorting into something openly erotic—mouth parted, tongue dampening his lower lip, and a deep flush that had spread from his chest all the way to his throat as his head tilted back.
It was a strange revelation.
But instead of shying away from the sight, Riley leaned into it. He accepted the way pleasure made him look, the rawness of it, and the even rawer way it made him feel.
Over his shoulder, he watched Kael through the mirror, tracking the sharp, predatory focus in those golden eyes as his mate moved behind him with a steady, relentless rhythm.
The contrast between them was impossible to ignore.
Their skin, the way their bodies moved together, the friction between them as Kael thrust deeper and deeper.
The sight alone was enough to make Riley’s insides tighten helplessly, his internal walls clamping down around Kael in a desperate pulse.
"More," Riley choked out, the word leaving him like a broken command.
"Kael... deeper."
There was a momentary separation, one so short that the black dragon barely had time to process what he had said as they switched positions.
Before he could even blink, Kael’s hands slid beneath his thighs, turned, and lifted him clean off the floor in one smooth, powerful motion.
Riley let out a startled gasp that quickly dissolved into a long, helpless moan as he found himself deposited on top of a nearby dresser for something that was truly deeper.
Instead of a mere reflection, he could now see Kael for himself. The dragon lord stepped firmly between Riley’s knees, forcing them wide and pulling him to the very edge of the wood so they were chest to chest.
But what could he have expected after uttering such words?
How could the golden dragon hold onto any notion of sanity with such express permission—no, more like an express wish?
So the wood beneath them groaned in violent protest, the old grain of the dresser straining under the steady, punishing rhythm of Kael’s movements.
The ancient piece of furniture clearly had opinions about the situation, likely never expecting dragons to use it like that.
But unfortunately, the usually mindful ex-mortal couldn’t really care less about the furniture when he could barely find the right rhythm for breathing.
Riley clung to Kael’s neck instead, holding on for dear life. His fingers dug hard into the golden dragon’s shoulders as he fought to stay upright against the relentless waves of sensation crashing through him.
"Haaah!"
His heels locked tightly around Kael’s waist, anchoring himself against the sheer, bone-deep power of the man. With his back pressed against the wall and his legs spread wide by the position, Kael could drive into him with a depth that felt almost unreal.
Each thrust carried a heavy, sliding weight that filled him completely, stretching him until the friction burned into a sharp, beautiful heat that made Riley’s entire body tremble.
"!!!"
"Ah—Kael! Right there! Don’t... Please, don’t stop!"
He had a feeling that he wouldn’t survive if the golden lizard attempted to tease him right then and there.
By now, Riley’s voice had long since stopped sounding like ordinary moans. The sounds escaping him were higher, more desperate, filling the room alongside the unmistakable rhythm of their bodies meeting again and again.
The angle was perfect.
Every time Kael surged forward, he struck that singular, sensitive place with terrifying accuracy. Each impact sent bursts of sensation through Riley that fractured his vision into flashes of gold and black. At the same time, the shared mana flowing through their bond surged wildly between them, so intense that the air in the room seemed to vibrate with it.
Sure enough, the last Iltheran wouldn’t have been able to survive all of it as a human. Maybe it would be possible, but having Kael let go of all inhibitions??
Not even if he prayed.
At this point, the black dragon didn’t need a mirror to tell him anything.
For any and every reflective surface would show him what he already knew—face flushed, expression openly transparent, every inch of him shaking with raw pleasure and inexplicable need as Kael moved behind him.
And in that moment, everything came together.
A blinding explosion. Maybe it was nothing to anyone else, but to the two who had it coming after who knows how long, it was the type they could write about.
When the climax hit, Riley’s legs tightened instinctively around his mate’s waist. The grip was desperate and almost bruising as his body arched upward, pulling Kael as deep inside him as possible. His internal walls clenched in powerful, rhythmic pulses that refused to stop.
He wanted everything.
Every drop.
Every ounce of power Kael carried.
"It’s yours, all yours—" Kael growled, his voice rough as his own control finally broke.
The golden dragon drove forward and surrendered completely, releasing himself into Riley with a force that seemed to ripple through the room itself.
For a long moment neither of them moved.
They stayed locked together, clinging to each other as the aftermath washed through them in slow, trembling waves.
Riley remained wrapped tightly around his mate, his arms looped around Kael’s shoulders while his face rested in the crook of the golden dragon’s neck. His breathing came in shallow, uneven puffs that warmed the skin there, each exhale carrying the lingering tremor of everything they had just done.
He felt heavy.
Boneless.
Completely undone.
His heart pounded wildly against Kael’s chest while the intense heat that had consumed them both gradually began to settle into something softer, slower.
Beneath them, the dresser finally voiced its final complaint.
Crack.
The strained wood splintered with one last loud protest after enduring far more abuse than it had ever been built to survive.
"!"
Both of them froze.
Riley lifted his head first, his eyes still hazy and his hair completely disheveled as he glanced down at the dresser beneath them. The poor thing looked like it was seconds away from collapsing.
Slowly, Riley looked back up.
Kael met his gaze.
The golden dragon’s lips curled into a sly but amused smirk.
For a second Riley simply stared at him.
Then a soft, breathless giggle slipped out before he could stop it.
The sound was contagious.
Soon enough, Kael was shaking his head, the two of them sharing a quiet laugh in the middle of the otherwise silent hall.
The dragon lord didn’t even bother letting go.
Instead, Kael lifted one hand and flicked his fingers lazily. A faint shimmer of golden magic wrapped around the dresser, stabilizing the cracked wood and holding the poor thing together before it could collapse completely.
Maybe that one deserved a little repair.
More importantly though...
Maybe they both needed a little sleep.
