The Destiny Villainess Wants Me To Work!-Chapter 121: Slaughter Begins!
(A.N: Some bloody scenes ahead.)

"This is Jiangnan Prison," Zhou Kang said in a deep voice. "The security here isn’t something you people can break through. Stop this nonsense and go back. Finish your sentence properly."
Some of the prisoners hesitated upon hearing this.
Zhou Kang noticed it and pressed further.
"You think this will end well? The moment something goes wrong, reinforcements will arrive. You won’t even make it past the outer perimeter."
For a moment, the doubt lingered. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
Then Ye Chen spoke.
"It should have been difficult," he said, as if considering it seriously. Then his eyes sharpened slightly.
"But with your help... things became much easier."
Zhou Kang’s expression stiffened.
"Did you forget?" Ye Chen continued. "Right now, except for you, there are no guards inside."
He paused slightly, letting the words settle.
"That means... for the next two hours, this place is empty."
His tone remained calm.
"We have enough time."
Zhou Kang’s heart trembled.
"You madman! Even if you try, the military will be alerted within minutes!" he said quickly, trying to suppress the rising panic.
Ye Chen fell silent for a brief moment, as if thinking.
"Arrive in minutes after being alerted..." he repeated slowly.
Then his gaze turned cold.
"...then we just need to make sure no one is left alive to alert them."

Inside the prison’s control room, everything felt unnaturally relaxed.
Two guards leaned back in their chairs, boots stretched out, the glow of the dead monitors reflecting faintly on their faces. The entire wall of surveillance screens was black—every feed cut off, every blind spot intentionally created.
One of them glanced at the black screen and yawned. "What time is it now?"
"Three fifteen," the other replied lazily.
"How much longer do we have to sit here?"
The second guard shrugged. "Who knows? Chief must be handling something big."
He tapped one of the blank monitors with his finger. "Otherwise, why shut everything down?"
"True..." the first guard muttered, then smirked. "We should ask for a bonus next month."
The other chuckled. "Relax. Chief’s not stingy."
"Yeah, as long as those ’righteous’ idiots don’t find out."
"They think they’re the only honest ones," the second scoffed. "We’re working too, aren’t we?"
"Exactly. What’s wrong with wanting extra money?"
"Nothing at all."
Right then, the receiver rang.
Both guards straightened slightly.
"Chief?" one of them muttered, picking it up.
Zhou Kang’s voice came through, low and tight.
"Come to my office. Now."
The tone was strange, but neither paid much attention.
"Got it."
They hung up and stood, adjusting their uniforms as they stepped out of the control room.
The corridor outside was quiet.
Even quieter than usual. Which was abnormal.
But they walked on without a second thought.
As they turned left and took their steps.
One step.
Two—
*Thk.*
On the second step. A wet, muffled sound cut through the silence.
"What was that—?"
One of them turned his head toward his colleague.
His voice died instantly. When he saw the scene in front of his eyes.
His colleague stood frozen.
A dagger had been driven into the back of his neck.
It had been forced in with brutal strength, right at the junction where the skull met the spine. The blade punched through muscle, crushed through bone, and tore straight forward—until the tip burst out of his mouth.
The guard’s jaw hung open unnaturally, the steel protruding between his teeth. Blood poured out around it, thick and dark, spilling over his chin and dripping onto his uniform.
His tongue twitched weakly against the blade, his throat making a wet choking sound that never formed into a scream.
His eyes were wide. But already losing focus.
Behind him stood a bald, muscular inmate, his arm still extended, fingers locked firmly around the hilt of the dagger. His veins bulged slightly from the force he had used.
Then, he twisted the dagger.
The sound was sickening.
A grinding, tearing crunch from inside the neck.
The guard’s body convulsed violently for a split second before collapsing forward, the blade ripping free as he fell. Blood sprayed out in a thick arc, splattering across the floor and the attacker’s arm.
The second guard staggered back half a step, his face draining of colour.
His hand shot toward his gun.
Unfortunately, he was still too slow.
Another inmate lunged from the side, grabbing his arm and locking it in place with brutal force. The grip was like iron, pinning him completely.
The guard struggled, panic flooding his face.
"Let—let go—!"
His voice shook.
The bald man stepped forward again, the dagger still dripping fresh blood.
He didn’t rush, watching him with a cruel grin as if watching his prey.
Then, without hesitation, he raised the blade and drove it forward.
Straight into the guard’s eye.
The resistance lasted less than a second, which the muscular, bald criminal barely felt.
The blade sank in deep, piercing through the right socket, crushing through bone, and sliding directly into the brain.
The guard’s body stiffened instantly.
His mouth opened, but no sound came out.
Only a faint, broken gasp.
The bald man pushed the dagger in further until the hilt nearly touched the face. He twisted it a few more times before pulling it out slowly.
A thick stream of blood followed. The guard’s body dropped like a cut wire.
With that, the corridor fell silent again.
The bald man glanced down at the two bodies, then wiped the blade casually against one of their uniforms.
A crooked, satisfied smile appeared on his face.
"Buddies should keep each other company."
Then he turned back and continued.
"Let’s go. Boss Ye said that after dealing with them. We need to get to the armoury."
"We know, Huo Jie," Lu Shixun stepped forward and sighed with a helpless expression. "But you are being a bit too bloody."
"Shut up! Be glad that you are Boss Ye’s close brother. Otherwise, I would have stabbed through your heart as well." Huo Jie looked at Lu Shixun with disdain.
Lu Shixun remained silent and looked back.
"Everyone, let’s hurry. We have no time to waste."
Behind him, the other criminals stepped forward without a word.
The darkness in the corridor seemed to deepen as they moved.
