The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities-Chapter 66: Dual Superpowers (1)
"Quick! Bring the mirror!" From the first time Han Jing used her superpower, she felt that the birthmark on her face was somewhat odd, although even with an open mind, she never suspected anything about this inherent mark on her face. But with these continuous accidents, coupled with Dongbao’s incredible words, she couldn’t help but think more about it.
Bo He quickly ran off to fetch a glazed mirror. The mirror was bright, reflecting Han Jing’s fair and delicate features. She would be a rare beauty if not for the large red birthmark on her face.
Han Jing stared at the birthmark, frowning slightly. It seemed indeed to have faded somewhat.
Recalling the strange incidents she encountered, Han Jing suddenly had a bold guess in her mind.
"You all go out, stay far away from here. Without my instructions, no one is allowed to come near, and you are not allowed to come in either." She had to try it herself to see if it was true.
Mu Jin, always calm, glanced at the still bewildered Dongbao and Bo He, signaling them to leave.
The two obediently followed Mu Jin out, closed the door, stayed far away, and watched the yard to prevent anyone from approaching.
Han Jing put down the mirror, then stretched out her hands, concentrating her spiritual power. A ball of water gradually formed in her right palm. Meanwhile, her left cheek was gradually heating up. She endured the odd sensation, continued to focus her spiritual power, and then a weak flame slowly emerged in the palm of her left hand.
Han Jing suddenly clenched her palms, extinguishing the water ball and flame simultaneously in her hands.
Sweat beaded on her forehead, and her face was somewhat pale.
After a while, she reached out, picked up the mirror again, and looked at her face. The birthmark on her left cheek was still there but showed signs of fading.
Han Jing’s heart was racing slightly. She pressed her hand to her chest, feeling her accelerated heartbeat, and it took her a while to regain her composure.
During her time in the assassin organization, once on an isolated island, having completed a mission, she encountered an international superpower group agent. They fought, and she lost, but that person didn’t take her life. It was a woman in her forties, an elder in the International Superpower Group. They walked off the island together, and perhaps out of boredom, they hit it off well. That person also told her many things, much knowledge about superpowers that she didn’t know. Growing up in the assassin organization, where profits were paramount, she started taking assignments and received very diverse training from a young age, with no specialization. Her knowledge in superpowers was indeed very lacking. She relied merely on her constitution perfectly matching the superpowers, displaying strength that ordinary superpower users couldn’t, allowing her to roam the dark world for many years, otherwise, she might have died countless times already.
Han Jing recalled one thing, that woman told her about the different kinds of superpower users. There are those who are born with it, like her, and others who are stimulated by special conditions afterward. There’s also a type called sub-superpower users, who are stronger than ordinary people in some aspects but can’t manifest the strength of superpower users. Besides, there’s a very special kind called innate superpower seedlings, hidden in a certain part of the body. Only a superpower user can activate them, almost like one superpower triggering another.
