Chapter 340: Chapter 47: The Elf Prince’s Wish

At this moment, a drop of liquid fell onto the table in front of Camille, making a loud dripping sound in the otherwise silent room.

The four of them simultaneously looked up.

Above, a dense cluster of hanging figures were staring at them from the rafters.

"Look, our bar has some cute little visitors!" A light laugh came from among these creatures.

"Their blood must be exceptionally delicious; let’s use it to mix with our wine for tonight~" another voice said.

Soon, a cacophony of chattering sounds arose from the ceiling.

This was the first time Xia Chuanyue and the others had seen vampires outside of books, and this time, it was a group of them.

The sound of an arrow piercing through the air followed, and an arrow emitting white light embedded itself in the beam. The holy light flashed, causing the group of vampires to scream and separate, rushing toward the second floor.

Dean furrowed his brow and drew another arrow from his quiver.

"Filthy creatures only fit to live in the shadows," Dean said expressionlessly, shooting another arrow, once again causing a chorus of screams.

Screams echoed one after another.

"Jerry! Someone’s trying to kill us! Oh my god, I can hardly believe it, humans and an elf who can shoot arrows, they’ve come for us! Two have been hit!" The screams of these female vampires echoed on the second floor.

The chaotic scene upstairs was eventually silenced by a roar: "Enough! You’re too noisy!"

The screams abruptly stopped. It was clear that this roaring vampire held a high status.

Camille raised an eyebrow and said, "Actually, I agree with him, it’s really too noisy."

Soon, a figure appeared at the staircase corner.

It was a tall, thin young man wearing a crisp black tailcoat, knee-high black boots showing off his long legs, hair elegantly slicked back, eyes bright as stars, and aside from some pointy ears and fangs protruding from behind his thin lips, he was remarkably handsome, no wonder the place was filled with female vampires.

However, the black mist swirling around him revealed that he was not as harmless as he appeared; beauty was often a blinding technique.

"How did you find this place?" The vampire asked.

"Are you the leader of these Blood Clan?" Camille asked without answering his question, frowning.

Jerry nodded, slowly stepping down as he said, "You’re from Dawn Academy; the City Lord asked you to come and eliminate me, right?"

"So, you’re admitting to killing the people of Shude City?" Camille continued following the topic.

Jerry leisurely pulled a chair over, sat down, looked up at the four in front of him, and smiled, "Yes, it was me; you arrived a bit quicker than I anticipated. If you were a day later, I could’ve wiped out everyone in the city."

Was the answer found so easily?

Camille was somewhat surprised by how easily the answer was obtained but still said, "Then we’ll just have to take you back."

"Take me back?" Jerry shook his head disdainfully, his gaze extremely provocative, his red pupils unusually captivating. He raised an arm, placed a forefinger to his lips, and shook it twice, saying, "Didn’t your teachers teach you not to make big boasts?"

A silver arrow emitting a faint white light whizzed out, hitting Jerry’s chest as Dean’s arrow pinned him and the chair together, the light power of the arrow rapidly blossoming from Jerry’s body.

Dean never liked wasting words; he preferred to act directly.

If an ordinary vampire were struck in the chest by Dean like this, they would have already perished.

However, it was clear that Jerry was no ordinary vampire.
