The Conquerors Path-Chapter 906 - 904-The Two Of The Change
Austin’s POV:
’This will take a while.’
I mused as I held the trembling Eleanara in my arms, or more accurately, she was clutching onto my shirt, spilling all her tears onto my stomach. She no longer looks like the regal queen I met a day ago, nor does she look like she is hiding her pain anymore. Right now, she is just the girl who had trapped herself in a dark room, finally calling out her pain.
"It’s alright... it’s not your fault..."
I kept whispering as I patted the back of Eleanara, her trembling form looking a bit pitiful. It seems the combination of attacks I used is more powerful than I hoped for it to achieve—the subtle touch of familial warmth, the smooth connection of emotion added with the warmth of life, sweeping into her body.
’It’s like the perfect recipe for all trauma-based psychologists.’
I inwardly laughed at that thought, the notion itself being very true. In this case, now, I wasn’t truly controlling her mind or trying to manipulate her into any situation. This action right now is a true form of purification and cure. Right now, I was subtly healing the fractures in the mind of Eleanara, making her better.
The heart of everything lies in the problem of Eleanara having locked herself and her mind within a room. She seems to think only when she has fallen to her lowest, filled with nothing to rely on, will she feel the true pain her decision caused. It was a self-punishment she called upon herself, something to help ease her guilt.
And that, along the way, slowly twisted, turned, and broke the character of what one can call a very bright future. Down along the way, certain bad qualities of envy, jealousy, restlessness, and some more dark emotions clutched onto their mind of Eleanara, turning her into the type of person she hated growing up.
But even that, to her, was more of punishment, and now I was healing all that. This is a certain type of combination attack I created for those with certain psychological problems. And knowing my history and story, I would have to use it on a lot of women, helping them grow from the trauma that is blocking them.
It’s a powerful combination, and it took me a moment to get it right. Once I reached the level of divine, the amount of things I can do and mix with the power I have at hand is limitless. And now, with such powerful mind processing, it is easier for me to create several combinations, combining my unique abilities to create something more powerful and effective.
And this is one among those combinations. The influence of my aura, boosted by my divine rise, will make it such that no woman at that single moment will be able to push me away. I would look like a very cute innocent doll walking their way—a look that will soothe their souls—while the warmth of the touch that reminds of the past will remind them of the better days of the past, giving a push of emotions in the past in which they were the happiest.
This will unlock any sort of past feelings they are keeping locked up within themselves, which would help push things forth, as it gives them the much-needed reminder that they had warmth and love in the past, not just the pain that came to them. And finally, the call of life, mixed with the presence of life itself, is something very powerful.
Before, I was limited on the things I could do with even the divine power, but now, having stepped into the half-divine myself, the amount of abilities I could do with it has increased—a lot, and I mean a lot.
And thus, its effect also has increased overall. The normal call of life instils in a person a certain spark. Life, in its essence, is what pushes us to live and thrive, and now I can use that to push back any barriers in the mind of someone who has locked themselves away from the happiness of truly living a life, giving them opportunities they have missed.
The power will be like a warm fire coiling around their heart and mind, reminding them of the warmth of life, which will allow them to push forward into another chapter in life. It’s a very powerful technique I have created to deal with any kind of major trauma that needs help pushing forth. Of course, on its own, it is powerful, but in the right circumstances, it can change the life of the person who is being affected by it.
My gaze landed on the trembling Eleanara, the effect on her being a very major one. The thing here is that I struck at the perfect time. At this moment, her mind was at its weakest yet strongest—weakest because she believes she has been betrayed, and there is no greater pain than that, pushing forth the mental collapse of Eleanara to an even higher range. But beyond that, there is still the spark.
The spark I lit, the spark of revenge boiling within her mind. Now she has a target for her revenge. Now there is a path and truth that perhaps she might not be the one fully responsible for the death of her friends. When that strong point hit at the weakest part of her own mental gain, it changes everything. It was a crucial point where the past Eleanara would emerge back from the mould, stronger than ever.
But that is a gradual process where she will find herself. It will take time and process for that mental state to merge, grow, and stabilize, and I have no time to deal with all that. If my plans are to work, I need her back on her feet soon. So that is what this technique is doing—it is helping push forth the growth faster than ever.
Which would mean, soon I would have the fully grown and completely reattached mindset of Eleanara. Thus, my hand kept patting her back, my shirt soaked with her tears while all this warmth and pain hit her at the same time, which tired her mind, slowly making her collapse into me, going into a deep slumber where her mental state was being put back together, to grow into something stronger and more powerful.
’When she wakes up, she will be reborn.’
I mused at that thought, slowly pushing Eleanara back into the chair, her mind right now being very fragile. It was healing and growing, perhaps becoming the woman she should have truly become.
’But even then, she won’t fully be complete.’
Even if the past Eleanara awakens, the part of who she is right now does not change. She had picked up quirks, jealousy, and several other things during her long life. It will be there, mixed into the true Eleanara, forming a more powerful—or perhaps an even worse—version. This, I have no control over, nor am I going to try to influence it. It’s best nature takes its course on this one.
So, laying Eleanara calmly on the chair, my gaze and senses travelled through this big door towards the one outside, my gaze falling on Silva, who looked even more broken than Eleanara as she knelt in front of the door like the big sinner she was. Her mental state is in an even worse state than Eleanara’s right now, making it a very fragile time for her.
A small smirk lit my face at this scene, a certain greed passing my eyes as my plans started to come into place. Now that I have dealt with one, it would seem it’s time I slowly deal with the other.
’I wonder, would you still feel like sisters in the end?’
A small evil light flashed in my eyes at that thought, as I started to walk towards the door. Normally, in these cases, the only way for the door to open would be if Eleanara would let me, and that will show Silva that Eleanara is still in control of what is to come to her. Thus, with a smile, I used my divine powers to take control over the whole place.
The defences here were legendary, known far and wide. But against my divine control, they couldn’t last for long. I seized the entire mechanism, the whirring sounds filling my mind as I slowly opened the door.
As it creaked open, my eyes fell on Silva’s trembling body on the ground—too defeated to even lift her head and look at me.
’I shouldn’t break her completely…’
With that thought, I stepped out, deliberately closing the door behind me, denying Silva even a glimpse inside. My gaze fell on her shaking form, perhaps from exhaustion or something deeper. Moving forward, I soon found myself standing in front of someone who was once a highly respected warrior of her lineage. My shadow stretched over her as she knelt, silence filling the halls.
"Sigh… it seems the Queen doesn’t want to see you for some time."
My words made Silva flinch. Her trembling grew more intense, but she refused to appear completely broken before me. Her voice, though weak, carried resolve.
"Thank you… thank you for giving my master the truth." ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
Even though the truth hurt her, she was still grateful. At least now, her master, who had been living in the dark, might finally move forward.
"Even if you explain the situation, there’s still a chance she will hate you—that she won’t want you near her."
My words cut deep, like sharp knives piercing Silva’s heart. She shuddered but nodded, biting her lip before responding.
"As she should."
I shook my head at her response…
