PRECAP:

"I could not...could not carry it inside of me...safe."

And she broke down at last. Her strong face faded off. Kian was quick to pull her into him...in his arms, not being able to see her that broken.

"You tried all you could, baby."

He mumbled, rubbing her back as she cried her heart out onto his chest, soaking his t-shirt.

"I knew it...I just wanted you to tell me."

"It is a mystery how good she was concealing everything...every hurt inside of her for so long, right??"

"How did you come to know??"

Tinsley questioned, sleeping on his chest on their bed, listening to his heartbeat in the dark.

"From the internet...I looked up when you were bleeding too much."

He answered, looking up at the ceiling, running his fingers over her red locks. The light from the street illuminating the bedroom a little.

"Oh!"

"How about you??"

He intervened, tilting his head to look down at her, tracing his chest.

"Same as you."

"Hmm..."

He hummed. She continued to rest on his chest, finding comfort in his arms, her safe haven.

"Is the bleeding over??"

He asked. She nodded.

"Yes, for good. Every time I bled, it broke my inside knowing that is our child's..."

Kian put a finger on her mouth, stopping her from completing that sentence.

"Don't... it's over... it's over now!"

He said and both raised up in a sitting position. He leaned onto the headboard, pulling her back into his arms.

They both could not see each other faces clearly but he felt his chest wet and knew that she was crying.

"We can't break over one loss when there's more wonderful news are waiting for us in the future..."

He mumbled, kissing her head. But could she be alright just hoping for the best in the future??

Yes???...maybe just not right at that moment.

But of all these, her heart was at peace knowing he did not blame her, he was not like her father...he loved her.

A month had passed since that night. And everything had fallen back to its place or so it seemed.

She roamed around the living room, cleaning the floor, keeping the coats on the rectilinear. He never learned to do so after so much yelling.

She shook her head and kept them back up, hanging when a few letters dropped out of the coat pocket.

They were letters, some opened and a few unopened. She kept them on the table.

"Kian???"

She called out for him but no answer came out. He was still inside the shower, taking his morning bath.

She left the letters there and went to check on the breakfast but turned around, being curious of what the letters could be.

She did not want to intrude on his privacy. They both respected each other privacy but then her inner conscience declared as if she had any.

He knew everything about her. So she thought why not check the letters out. She opened one out of many, the already opened one.

It was from the electricity department. They were overdue. She then recklessly opened the other letters and checked those too.

They were running out of gas, water, grocery, phone recharge, every kind of bill and overdue. If not paid within a week time, all the lines would be cut off.

She sighed, sitting down on the floor. He had not once told her about it, keeping secrets about the household matter...that he was running out of money.

She went to their bedroom and picked up his MacBook. She opened it, sitting on the bed and went to check his balance.

Only a few hundred dollars were left of his saving. It was not enough to cover all the bills with a penalty for paying late.

She did not know...could not understand what he was trying to do, keeping matters like these from her??

It was exactly at that moment, he got out of the bathroom, with a towel hung lower on his waist. He saw her sitting on the bed with his laptop on her lap, glaring in his direction.

"What??"

He questioned, walking towards the closet to get his clothes for the day. She just watched him, silently putting his clothes on, dropping the towel down and wearing his pants without a shame.

She looked away. She could not stand him at that moment. He noticed her expression.

"It's not like you have not seen it?"

He raised his eyebrows, amusedly. It just annoyed her further and she rolled her eyes, getting up and walking out of there.

"Wait...?? Did you just roll your eyes at me??"

He questioned but she was too quick walking away. He cursed under his breath for getting hard.

It had been a month and they had not done anything other than holding hands, cuddling and small lip kisses.

He was going crazy to be back on the action. He understood that she needed time...time to heal from everything and he had been very generous at that and patient.

But he was only a man and he had his needs. It was not that case either when she would walk around the house, wearing just his long t-shirt without pants or sleeping on with just underwear on.

His hands itched to touch her, feel her and be inside her once again just like the olden times.

She would always find a way to excuse herself whenever he would try to get close to her.

And lately, it had been annoying and frustrating at the same time. But he could not say anything or do anything about it.

But the sass...those angry glares as if he did something and walking away from him, he would not tolerate any such things.

He made his way to the kitchen and she served him the breakfast on the counter.

He sat on the high stool and picked his mug up to sip his morning coffee. He was getting used to her taste of coffee and these days, the coffee they served in the cafe, distasted him.

"I will drop you off at Madison's so call her off today."

He said, eating his omelette. He wanted to spend some time with her outside of this house.

"Madi's going to pick me up in five. So no need of it."

She replied, cleaning the kitchen cabinet, putting the materials inside of it.

"Well, I m going to drop you so call her off for today."

Kian stressed the last part. He did not understand why she was behaving like a brat again. All he wanted to do was to drive her...what was so wrong about it??

"And how would you do that??"

Tinsley questioned, turning back to face him, leaning on the kitchen counter.

"What do you mean how?? I will drive you off course??"

Kian countered back, dropping the toast back on the plate, looking at her.

"But how when you are out of gas??"

Tinsley implored, folding her hands against her chest. Kian narrowed his eyes at her, not understanding but then got it the next second.

"Not just gas...we will be running out of electricity, water, internet, everything in just a week..."

Tinsley started and Kian sighed, looking down.

"Look, I would have told you..."

"When?? When would you have told me, Kian?? After our house was in darkness??"

Tinsley stated, getting angry at him. He too stood up, not liking the tone she was using on him. He was not used to it.

"And as if you could have done something??"

He very cruelly mocked her. And it hit her straight as she peeked at him, astonished at the way he was behaving.

"Does it matter?? Or that you should have told me, that you have no money...and we are running out of everything??"

She interviewed, trying to fire some sense in his goddamn mind.

"Tell me what would you have done if I told you?? Tell me how would have helped the situation if I told...so fucking make me understand how things would have turned out any different if had I told you??? "

His voice roared and it angered her more too. She walked up to him and stood in front of him.

"Nothing would have changed but I would have helped you...this is our house, Kian..."

"And how exactly would you have helped, pray tell me, Tinsley??"

"We would figure something out instead of you bearing it all alone..."

He stopped her in the middle even before she could complete.

"See...we would figure things out together. Well, to burst your bubble, we would never have...because in the end, it will be me...only I who can do it...not you so shut up and be the damn wife!"

She remained silent, not believing how petty he sounded just like her dead father.

"You sound like my fucking father."
