The Celibate Tycoon Has Fallen-Chapter 22: Save Me, Save Me
"He promised me two days ago. Aren’t you afraid he’ll trouble you?"
"Bitch," Felix Wood stepped forward, grabbing Yelena Hughes’s hair, and forcefully pushed her onto the coffee table. "Still holding on to some fantasy, huh?"
Felix Wood ripped off Yelena Hughes’s purse, spilling its contents onto the ground. His chubby hand picked up her press badge and looped it around her neck.
"Weren’t you all dolled up last time? Why so pure today?"
Felix Wood picked up lipstick from the ground, smearing it across Yelena Hughes’s mouth. He didn’t stop at the corner of her lips, but continued to paint until the red reached her eye corners.
Looking at her, it seemed as if her mouth had been torn open.
"Aren’t you into entertaining men? Let me make it happen for you."
"What are you doing?" Yelena Hughes was pulled up by him again and pushed out the door.
Felix Wood opened the door to the neighboring room. Inside, a group of unknown men was having fun with their chosen ladies. Felix Wood yanked Yelena Hughes inside. "Friends, this woman of mine goes wild around men. I’m asking her to have a drink with you all."
"No problem," one of the men said, handing over a drink.
Felix Wood was about to take the drink when he saw another man drop two pills into it. "Let me add some excitement for you all."
Seeing this, Felix Wood got even more excited, ready to force the drink into Yelena Hughes’s mouth.
She kicked him, trying to escape, but Felix Wood’s arm quickly ensnared her neck.
The glass was pressed to Yelena Hughes’s lips, but she refused to open her mouth. Felix Wood’s grip tightened, nearly suffocating her.
"No..."
Helplessly, she opened her mouth, and the drink was poured down her throat. Felix Wood laughed lewdly, dropping the glass before dragging her away.
He didn’t intend to let her go easily but instead knocked on another room’s door.
Felix Wood wanted to torment her slowly, finding greater excitement in prolonging her suffering.
Yelena Hughes had been forced to drink quite a bit. She sought help from everyone in different rooms, but no one came to her aid.
Her steps faltered, the lights fragmented into pieces, casting a scattered hopelessness in her eyes.
Soon, Felix Wood reached the last room, entering without knocking as before.
However, he quickly stopped, his tone incredulous, "Young Master?"
Yelena Hughes was startled by his address, almost like someone drowning in icy waters suddenly seeing a floating piece of wood.
She looked over and indeed saw Jasper Yale’s figure.
Yelena Hughes struggled fiercely in Felix Wood’s grasp.
Felix Wood’s arm was bitten, loosening his grip just enough for Yelena Hughes to escape.
She was unsteady, tripping over the carpet, and fell beside Jasper Yale’s leg. She placed her hand on his leg, looking up, "Young Master, help me."
Jasper Yale noticed her face, a long smear of lipstick cutting through it.
Felix Wood walked over a few steps. "Young Master, I didn’t expect you would be here. Sorry for bothering you."
Yelena Hughes leaned on Jasper Yale’s leg, her breathing rapid, finally relaxing her entire body.
She didn’t need to be afraid anymore; she could escape this ordeal.
"Felix Wood, if you want to play, go play. Why always cause such a ruckus?" Jasper Yale’s voice was deep and oppressive, there was no one else in the room because his guests hadn’t arrived.
Felix Wood laughed obsequiously, trying to probe forward, "If I knew the Young Master was here, I definitely wouldn’t have come in; I wouldn’t dare."
His gaze fell on Yelena Hughes, almost touching her with his foot. Yelena Hughes shrank back, clinging to Jasper Yale’s leg, evidently terrified.
"Don’t touch me."
"Fine, I won’t touch you. I’m just talking about work-related matters with you; let’s not bother the Young Master here."
Yelena Hughes saw his hand reaching over; she wanted to raise her hand to ward him off but was caught by Felix Wood’s wrist.
"Come here!" He snarled, his grip strong, pulling Yelena Hughes’s body. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
She hooked her other hand around Jasper Yale’s calf, desperately trying to hold onto him, terror evident in her eyes, her fingers tightly clutching that piece of fabric.
"Young Master, please tell him to stop, help me..."
Yelena Hughes looked into Jasper Yale’s eyes. His gaze was light, his entire demeanor exuding indifference.
He isn’t going to help, is he?
Felix Wood’s hand clutched Yelena Hughes’s shoulder, causing her pain as she struggled, her grip on the pant leg blanching her knuckles.
Jasper Yale lowered his gaze, "Let go."
She had a moment of blankness, meeting his eyes, still not believing.
Jasper Yale didn’t want to break his promise to Nancy Alden, especially over a Yelena Hughes, who wasn’t worth it.
Her hand loosened, Felix Wood dragged her out, and Yelena Hughes’s hand slid over the carpet, hitting the leg of the coffee table.
She reached out and grasped it, not crying or shouting, nor did she ask Jasper Yale to help her again.
Felix Wood wearing pointed leather shoes kicked over, instantly bruising Yelena Hughes’s hand.
"Regretting now? So many people want me, yet here you are, daring enough to provoke me?"
Yelena Hughes’s voice was soft but unwavering.
"I don’t regret a thing. If possible, I’d push you into Hell."
Felix Wood saw her hesitating, then laughed sinisterly, "You don’t beg at such a time, you’re truly unafraid to die."
He squatted down, gripping Yelena Hughes’s hand.
He twisted her little finger, forcefully bending it upwards.
The sound of dislocation accompanied Yelena Hughes’s soft, yet unbelievably deep groan of pain.
Her little finger was bent upward, pain overtaking her, and her arm dropped limply.
This scene was even tough for Hailey Jenkins to watch, feeling a bit compassionate.
Jasper Yale felt something split across his vision as Felix Wood grabbed her leg, dragging her towards the door.
Yelena Hughes still tried to resist, and the press badge hanging around her neck only amplified her ridiculous appearance.
"Wait..."
Her voice was hoarse, "Can I walk by myself?"
Felix Wood released her, bending over to yank her from the ground; Yelena Hughes pained so much she saw darkness, looking towards Jasper Yale’s seated direction.
In her eyes, there was no more hope, her gaze turned icy cold.
Like a puppet without a soul.
Her lips moved slightly, wanting to ask Jasper Yale that if he wouldn’t help her, could he at least be merciful and help her family?
Yelena Hughes then bitterly smiled, why would he?
Is it because of that bag of eggs?
Yelena Hughes followed Felix Wood out, Jasper Yale watched her back from when he said let go until she never pleaded to him again.
"Why are you dawdling?" Felix Wood, impatient with her slow walking, pulled her outside.
The door was closed behind them, but the room still retained the scent left by Yelena Hughes, identical to the warm fragrance from her room.
Jasper Yale’s handsome face was tense as he loosened his tie.
Then, suddenly, there was a piercing scream from outside, breaking through the door and reaching inside.
