The Celibate Tycoon Has Fallen-Chapter 10: His White Moonlight
Although these two were friends, Jasper Yale clearly overshadowed Justin Sutton.
What could he say when he barged in? Tear the mask off and accuse Jasper of sleeping with the woman he fancied?
Yelena Hughes had already said that she was the one who came to him willingly.
Justin Sutton looked dejected, "Just you wait, you won’t come to a good end."
He didn’t confront Jasper but wheeled himself away.
The remark he made earlier had hit Jasper Yale’s sore spot, and Justin didn’t dare provoke him further here.
Jasper finished a cigarette, then walked out from behind the screen without saying a word and left past Yelena Hughes.
She hurried after him to the parking lot, but Jasper didn’t let her into the car.
Yelena tugged at the car door, but it was locked.
From this, it seemed she should just go home.
But the car moved slowly, so Yelena had to follow alongside it. She walked until her legs were about to give out.
Jasper rolled down the window, "Justin wasn’t wrong, you really are shameless."
Yelena was struggling to keep up, "Are you blaming me, Young Master?"
"Do you think your bed skills are so great? That they’ll make me interested in you for long?"
Maybe a couple more times and he’d tire of her. She straightforwardly dragged him into a muddy mess.
Hailey Jenkins, sitting in the front passenger seat, listened, feeling sorry for the girl. Anyone would be upset hearing such things.
"I had no choice," Yelena wasn’t boasting about getting close to Jasper, "I wanted to end things completely with Justin, but he won’t give up easily and will cause trouble."
"So I decided to be blunt. He can’t afford to offend you, so he shouldn’t bother me again."
She explained to him, her shadow stretched out long.
Lonely and desolate.
Jasper’s face was full of displeasure. He wasn’t one to easily reveal his emotions. Yelena didn’t know whether it was her words that agitated him or the ’living dead’ mentioned by Justin.
"Young Master, please let me in the car, I really can’t walk anymore."
Jasper looked at her eyebrows and eyes. He was really annoyed with her tonight, feeling the urge to deal with her.
"You can get in the car, but we’re not going anywhere else, just in the car."
Yelena stopped in her tracks.
The car moved forward unhurriedly, not worried that Yelena would run away. The prey was already in its mouth; there was no hurry to finish it.
The wind tousled Yelena’s hair, and she tucked it behind her ears.
Quickly, she jogged to the car, which had stopped, and heard the click of the lock opening.
Her palm reached out, opened the car door, and she bent to sit inside.
Inside the spacious car, the air was stifling. Yelena felt like an unwelcome guest.
Jasper’s face was against the light, extraordinarily handsome. Yelena reached for her hem, lifted and removed her top.
The assistant and driver exchanged glances, neither daring to look back.
Jasper glanced over her body, his gaze indifferent, as if he had little interest.
Yelena was awkward and uneasy, so she took her clothes and carefully covered her front.
Jasper didn’t tell her to leave, nor what to do next. Her bare shoulders trembled.
Yelena closed her eyes, the expression on her face...
A bit of a death-defying feel.
Jasper didn’t expect her to plunge straight into his arms, rashly and forcefully, causing her forehead to hit his chest, sending a dull ache through him.
Yelena was bent over, her black hair draped over a smooth back. Jasper reached out and moved it aside.
"Get out."
The assistant in the front quickly unfastened his seatbelt, and the driver opened the car door immediately.
Jasper’s pupils deepened as his thumb stroked over them.
Yelena couldn’t help but shiver as Jasper gripped her neck and leaned down.
The driver leaned against the car door, and soon felt the car shake.
He gave Hailey Jenkins, who stood to the side, a glance.
Hailey burst out laughing and pulled the driver away.
Jasper roughly pushed her into the adjacent seat, the force great enough to bang her head.
The driver yawned outside, while Hailey smoked two cigarettes, checked his watch, and seeing the car still, thought it should be almost done.
Yelena tidied herself up and sat on the side while Jasper hooked a finger into his collar, straightening the pristine shirt collar.
"Boring."
Yelena glanced at him. Wasn’t he just really into it?
Jasper’s face returned to a cold demeanor, "You need to learn; with such a lack of flavor, don’t come back next time."
He knocked on the car window, and the assistant and driver returned to the car, eyes forward, not daring to glance around.
"Get out."
Clearly, he was addressing Yelena.
He had just pulled up his pants!
Yelena was thus kicked out of the car.
People would surely laugh if they knew—a woman kicked out halfway for a poor performance.
After returning, Yelena remembered Jasper’s words, logged onto a pile of random websites, and secretly learned with headphones on late into the night.
Being a journalist is a tough job, almost every day spent running around.
To get the first scoop, you have to do all sorts of dangerous things.
Yelena was outside the hospital, waiting long into the night. Seeing no one at the entrance to the in-patient department, she finally put on her hat and went in.
She entered the elevator and pressed the button for the 8th floor.
A year ago, a major event occurred with the Alden Family in Southcross City. Mr. Alden handcuffed his wife, and they both jumped off a building, after which their only daughter disappeared from that day on.
Many wanted to uncover this clue, Yelena was no exception.
She had prepared for months and received lots of false information. This time, she wasn’t too hopeful but had to investigate.
Yelena arrived at the ward door, finding no one around. She pushed the door open and walked in.
It was dark inside, and the room was large. She moved slowly until she felt the bedside.
Yelena grabbed a sheer curtain, just about to open her phone flashlight when a narrow beam of light shone on her.
Someone had turned on a desk lamp. Yelena’s gaze moved over, first seeing a pair of clasped hands, with a simple ring on the man’s pinky.
Her eyes moved up to see his face clearly.
It was Jasper Yale.
Yelena’s hand slipped, the sheer curtain softly fluttered, a woman lay motionless on the bed.
She stared hard, realizing this was the Alden Family daughter, Nancy Alden.
Jasper’s voice was as cold as ice water.
"Get out."
