The Broken Halo-Chapter 104: Reason For His Disgust

The Odrasils were a race that seemed to be a peace loving race on the surface, but they were anything but a peaceful race.

They were an evil and truly disgusting race.

They had fooled numerous humans when they first appeared on Earth. Because of their appearance, many humans attacked them on site, but after the Odrasils showed that they were not on Earth for violence but for peace, humans believed them.

Even Simon believed them back then after they did their best to convince him because he was the Hero and Halo of Earth.

The Odrasils were truly not a violent race or a race that loved to battle. In fact, they never lied when they called themselves a peaceful race.

Odrasils would off their demonic hearts which would be in the form of a crimson fruit called The Longevity Fruit.

It could increase the demonic energy of demons, the lifespans of both humans and demons, and the physical strength of humans rather than their aether.

The Longevity Fruit was a wonderful fruit to both humans and demons, and many humans who got to know about the Longevity Fruit wanted it. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

Because the Odrasils had been able to convince majority of the elites of Earth, had deals with some major powers of Earth, offered many Longevity Fruits, offered to become negotiators between Earth and some demons clans and even kingdoms, and were given controlled freedom to roam on certain parts of Earth... the Odrasils were well known on Earth.

And... they nearly became one of the greatest calamities of Earth.

’No. I can see they were one of the greatest calamities of Earth.’

Simon’s expression remained the same despite staring at the depravity, vileness, insanity, and madness in front of him.

The main reason why Simon hated and was disgusted by the Odrasils was because of what was happening right in front of him.

Unlike other demons, the Odrasils don’t usually gain power and increase their ranks by devouring the hearts of demons or by engaging in life threatening battles or situations.

An Odrasil would tell those it had enslaved with its Longevity Fruit to bring non-enslaved demons and humans to it, so that it could give them salvation.

But what the Odrasil truly wanted was to devour them in the most sick and twisted way possible.

The tentacles which were in the mouths and private parts of the candidates were not truly having sex with them.

They were absorbing their demonic energy, their physical energies, and even their internal organs.

When they did this, the tentacles from the Odrasil ensure they don’t kill the victim till the end when the victim completely dries up and has nothing more to offer.

The victims would be dying, but the Odrasils would release a fluid which would cause the victims to feel like they were in paradise and ecstasy.

It was an extremely disgusting and horrifying scene to behold, but once again, this was not truly the reason why he hated and was disgusted by the Odrasils.

The Odrasils had no morals and could ’rape’ and commit this vile act even to young children and even babies.

Simon could vividly recall scenes on Earth and even in the demon realm where the Odrasils were committing this same act to babies and little kids.

He could recall the expressions of ecstacy they made as they died. Especially the babies who were died in such a terrible and cruel manner.

The Odrasils did not care if those enslaved to them brought them kids, old men and women, babies, the disabled, or whoever.

To them, they were all sources of power and nutrients, and Simon was utterly disgusted by them.

He had gone on a killing spree in the past after he realized just how evil the Odrasils were. He, his companions, and many other heroes of Earth went around the Earth and killed every single Odrasil they found along with those who had reached a point of no return in their transformation after eating the Longevity Fruit.

The number of deaths caused by the Odrasils was in the millions, and if not for the quick response of Simon and other heroes, it would have been a lot worse.

Because the Odrasils were not a powerful combatant race, it was not extremely difficult wiping them off the face of the planet.

And it was also because of this the Odrasils were not truly regarded as a calamity of Earth. If they were a little bit stronger and given more time to grow stronger, they could not only have become a calamity of Earth but the end of Earth altogether.

Simon had been so furious in the past about the actions of the Odrasils that he went into the demon realm and went on a killing spree in the base of the Odrasils.

He killed every Odrasil he saw, but he was forced to stop when other demon clans and kingdoms nearly surrounded him and his companions.

’Turns out the demons expected our reactions back then. It was a trap, and it nearly caught us like flies on a spider web. Quite annoying whenever I think about it.’

Simon thought with a slight shake of his head as he recalled the past.

He ignored Thorgan who was nearly puking out his intestines, then he looked at the crimson fruits of various sizes hanging from the branches of the dead tree.

’And this is the true source of the Longevity Fruits. After consuming all these demons, the dead tree and fruits would be absorbed into his body, and he’d spend some time refining everything into his strength.’

’He was a Minor Fiend back when I met him, but now he’s emitting the aura of a Superior Fiend. If he’s able to absorb all these fruits and refine them, he’d definitely become a Supreme Fiend.’

’I wonder why the Shadowgrave clan allowed an Odrasil in their trial. They should know how dangerous an Odrasil can become.’

This was the reason why he could not hide his disgust back when Varreth offered him a Longevity Fruit to eat.
