The Blade Of God-Chapter 61: Lost And Found (Slash III)
"For all the magic I have to use to summon you," Aliane said, lazily eyeing the tall man next to him with annoyance. "You’d think that you’d ask no question and just...I don’t know...fight?"
"For a disgusting human such as yourself, do you think I’d stoop so low to serve you a like dog?" Jason said, eyeing Aliane disinterestedly with red eyes. "I barely care if you escape this mostly dead. The only reason why I even engage with you is because you are my current source of energy, fuel tank."
"Wow, fuel tank is..." Chase said, rubbing the back of his head and looking between the two other taller men. "Not sure about this, man. This dude looks like he’ll kill us first before the guardian can..."
"Dude?" Jason asked, eyeing Chase down like he’s cattle. Chase slowly raises his hands up, signaling for peace among them.
"Right, brief introduction before fighting."
Aliane said, pointing to Jason who looks at his long pale finger in disgust. "Jason Grace, from the legends of Gods. Me and Lia can summon a distinguished heroic entity using our summoning magic skills. Cool? Great, Jason, please-?"
Jason gives Aliane a hard, menacing glare. One Aliane notices right away and alike Chase, slowly raises his hands up in peace.
"Master Jason Grace of the Crimson Fleece," Aliane said, swallowing heavy with an emotionless expression. "Please lend me your strength."
Jason wordlessly eyes Aliane and silently snaps, bringing his finger to his plump lips as he eyes the tall guardian disinterestedly.
"Meda." Jason said, feeling his hand burn as a large metal shield forms in his hands. A gust of wind burst from behind him, swirling like a tornado to form a large mirror with a golden border that shines, bouncing off the sun’s rays on its skin.
"So are you going to watch us like an insect." Jason said, eyeing down the guardian with displeasure. "Or are you going to come and fight me, puny being?"
The guardian warily eyes the trio, stepping back to assess his surroundings before he roars, leading against his heel and charging forward.
Jason bangs the bottom of his shield on the ground, coxing the shield open to reveal another mirror that reflects the guardian running towards him. Jason closes his eyes, taken a soft breath as the mirror behind him rumbles and glows, the mirror in his hand following suit. Jason opens his eyes, his once red orbs turning into a crystal clear color as the sky above reflects in them.
"Reflection." Jason Grace said, and the world goes black.
...
"Coven-!" Sia screams, pointing towards the slime, grotesque creature making its way to her and Coven, leaving behind a slobber trail of green goo in its wake. "W-w-w-w-w-what the hell is that?!"
It wasn’t necessarily a normal day, but waking up to a new relam started off normal enough: Sia woke up under a tree next to Coven, who was already up, smiling as he silently petted some blue bird that landed oh-so-delicately on his finger with delight. Coven even began to whistle with the bird, watching with red cheeks and a small smile as the bird responds kindly back.
Sia only let’s out a croaked barf, groaning and mumbling a few choice words, as she fixes the glasses on her face and make sure to check for any damages on her sharped, foiled down and polished nails. Considering her and Coven were left in one piece, Sia only lets out a big sigh of relief after relazing her and Coven seemed to be safe under the shadowed trees with the maze.
So Sia, now feeling fresh from her unprovoked slumber and safe with her silent, but strong partner, begins to wander the forest where her and Coven are, stopping to scan the forest until they get to a pathway where their is a tree in the middle, then the pathway spilts into two directions: Sia and Coven share a bland look before they go one way, yet they get looped around. Sia raises an eyebrow, deciding to take the other way, and is against, looped around. Sia and Coven try around route this time--another loop around--after many trial and errors, Sia looks up and glares at the sun, rolling her purple eyes and pursing her lips.
"This is so stupid." Sia said, pinching her nose. "Everything is so stupid. Did we have to all spilt up and get lost? Are the Gods enjoying this?"
Coven pats Sia on the shoulder, giving her a pitied look, one that makes Sia feel more annoyed than comfort.
"You and your big muscles. You can’t even talk." Sia mumbles, trying again to guide them through another route, but falling. "You’re only good for fighting anyway."
Coven blinks, but then offers Sia a nervous smile, one she ignores to cross her arms and roll her eyes. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
"Of course I get stuck with a beef-for-brains..." Sia said, flipping her hair and placing a pale hand on her plump hip. "What more can be worse than this...wait, nothing! Go figure that I’m lost in this dumb forest with-what?"
Sia feels a heavy shadow cover her face, but she ignores it, her attention focused on watching Coven slowly look up and point to the sky. Sia raises an eyebrow, slowly looking up before she stills, her pale face dulling in color.
"Huh...?" Sia asked, slowly watching with horrified eyes as a large, slimy bulk of a slug hangs from off the tree she’s standing against, its slimy liquids from its body hitting her bare shoulders and sliding down her arm.
"Coven..." Sia said, her eyes shaking as she attempts to back away from the large slug-like creature. H-Holy-C-C-Coven-?! "W-w-w-w-w-what the hell is that?!"
Sia screams, watching as the slug creature wiggles, jumping out of its tree and falling down below, its slimy liquids dripping as it makes it way to aim to land on Sia’s face.
"C-C-C-C-C-C-COVEN!" Sia screams, covering her face with her hands as she waits for impending doom.
