The Billionaire's New Wife in Chief-Chapter 931 - 334: Song Qiao Leaves, Lu Jingchen’s Condition Worsens (Part 3)
Song Qiao responded with a hum and nodded. They’re currently staying in the hotel’s presidential suite, with a total of three rooms, just perfect for one person each.
Chu Munan immediately picked up the landline and called the front desk, instructing them to prepare a double portion of breakfast to be brought up.
Song Qiao was somewhat stunned as she watched Chu Munan give orders with an unchanging expression, but she didn’t stop him. After all, she had noticed that her appetite had grown considerably since she discovered she was pregnant, and since she was carrying two babies, she needed to keep up her nutrition.
When she came out after freshening up in the bathroom, there was already a dining cart in the living room. Chu Munan was placing the breakfast from the cart onto the dining table. Seeing her come out, he directly waved at her with a warm voice, "Come over, I’ve had them heat a cup of milk for you. Drink it while it’s hot."
Song Qiao responded with an "oh" and walked directly to the dining table, taking the milk handed to her by Chu Munan.
After taking a sip, Song Qiao looked up at the man beside her and asked, "Chu Munan, when are we going to Paris?"
Chu Munan replied with a hum and explained, "In a couple of days. If we go right now, Lu Jingchen will easily find clues when he wants to look for you guys. We’ll wait for a couple of days before going. Then, once you and Mu Shinian are settled in Paris, I’ll return to Beijing for a trip."
Song Qiao acknowledged with another "oh."
Chu Munan reached out and handed her a napkin, letting her wipe the milk left on the corner of her mouth. His deep gaze fixed on Song Qiao’s side profile, "After breakfast, want to take a stroll around Zurich? Although this city lacks the romance of Paris and the solemnity of Italy, it is still a very charming city."
Song Qiao didn’t mind much. She couldn’t stay in the hotel all day. Although she was a bit lazy to move, the doctor had previously advised her to walk around a lot and try to go out for walks every day.
Having two little lives inside her is different from carrying just one, and there are many more things to pay attention to.
"Cousin, I want to rest well at the hotel." Sitting on the sofa, Mu Shinian wasn’t in a good mood and addressed Song Qiao directly.
Song Qiao was taken aback, looking at Mu Shinian, knowing that his mood was low probably because of An City and lacking familiar friends nearby. She thought about it and decided to nod directly.
"Then rest well at the hotel. If you get hungry, just call the front desk to order food."
Mu Shinian acknowledged with a hum and turned his head to continue watching TV.
...
The streets of Zurich appear relatively quiet. Right outside the hotel lies the Limmat River, which flows through the center of Zurich, dividing the city into east and west banks, as well as new and old towns. The hotel Chu Munan chose is on the new town side, and crossing the street leads directly to the Limmat River.
It was already about eleven in the morning, so there weren’t many people on the roads, just occasional cars passing by, and quite a few parked cars by the roadside, with several boats on the Limmat River.
This city indeed has a charm that makes it easy to fall in love with. Song Qiao enjoys a quiet life, especially after becoming pregnant.
Chu Munan probably understood what was on her mind, so he chose a hotel located in a relatively quiet spot.
"I’ve often heard the name Zurich before. At the time, I only thought the city’s name sounded nice, but I didn’t expect the environment and lifestyle to be so lovable," Song Qiao’s gaze fell on the boats on the Limmat River. With her 5.2 vision, she could see an older gentleman with white hair and blue eyes, who seemed to be in his fifties or sixties but had a sturdy body, rowing a boat.
She really wanted to try sitting on a boat, but considering her current pregnancy, she might suffer severe morning sickness due to the boat’s swaying, which would not be worthwhile.
Chu Munan followed her gaze, seeing the boats on the Limmat River. He lowered his head, glanced at Song Qiao before him, and still had a smile on his face as he spoke, "Would you like to take a boat ride? Should we go?"
"I’d rather not," Song Qiao declined without even thinking.
"It’s alright to go for a ride," Chu Munan said before taking her hand placed beside her, "But first, let’s go to the mall."
