The Billionaire CEO Wants to Marry Me Every Day-Chapter 535: Dumb Donkey
Two seconds later, another system notification—
"Your friend Isaac Ross has left the group chat."
The Four Little Swans instantly only had Ryder Quinn left, this lone swan.
Ryder Quinn sat in the tightly contained car window but felt overwhelmed by chaos.
Damn!
Damn!!
He’s an idiot! Fool!!!
...
Inside the villa.
After smoothly exiting the group, Damian Knight was ready to head directly back to Stanton Manor when Assistant Shelton’s call came in, his tone urgent.
"Chairman, there’s a problem at one of Midnight Coffee House’s branches under our company; a customer had an allergic reaction and was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment—it seems quite serious."
Damian Knight frowned and said, "Can we confirm it was something from the coffee house they reacted to?"
"The specifics aren’t clear yet, but the family has already stormed to the company entrance, causing quite a scene. I’m worried it might have a negative impact, so I wanted to get your thoughts."
"Stabilize the family first, prevent the situation from escalating. I’m driving over now, should be there in about twenty minutes."
"Okay, Chairman."
Damian Knight hung up and as he walked outside, he sent a message to Summer Monroe: "Is everything okay at your side?"
Summer replied quickly: "Don’t worry, nothing will happen at the funeral, Stella Monroe won’t let anything happen to Clarissa Stanton’s funeral."
"Alright, I have something urgent to handle here—I’ll rush over once I’m done."
Stanton Manor.
Summer smiled to herself and replied: "You take care of your business; it’s fine if you don’t come, I can handle it myself."
She thought for a moment and added, "If I can’t handle it, I’ll call you."
Not so long ago, she would never have hoped for someone to be her support, but now, things seem different.
Damian Knight replied instantly: "Alright, call me anytime."
Summer sent an "OK" emoji, put the phone back in her pocket, and with her peripheral vision, she watched Stella Monroe.
Stella Monroe was no longer as upset as she initially appeared, effortlessly mingling with guests.
The more adept Stella was at this, the more uneasy Summer felt.
She had a premonition that Stella might be plotting something big.
No matter what Stella planned, she would face challenges head-on; there was nothing that couldn’t be overcome.
The funeral proceeded smoothly, and Clarissa Stanton’s burial site was chosen at Crestfall’s second cemetery.
The first cemetery’s costs are extremely high, surpassing even the property prices in Downtown Crestfall; it’s always been reserved for those of the utmost stature and influence. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
Even Henry Stanton couldn’t bear to pay for the second cemetery, the funds eventually came from Stella Monroe’s "personal money."
Luna Monroe’s burial site was also in the second cemetery.
Summer took advantage of the fact that no one was paying attention to her, found Luna Monroe’s grave herself, and laid a bouquet of flowers there.
"Mom." Summer looked at Luna Monroe’s photo on the tombstone, speaking gently and sadly, "Just as I wished, the Stanton Family has now crumbled apart. Clarissa Stanton has passed away, Stella Monroe and Henry Stanton are now divided in spirit. I’ve been wanting to uncover the truth about your death, but now I don’t care about the process. I only know that Henry Stanton and Stella Monroe are responsible for your passing. I will definitely avenge you; wait for me!"
She had secretly visited this grave many times, but this was the first time standing here in broad daylight.
Summer’s gaze was steadfast; she looked deeply at Luna Monroe’s photo, then donned a perfect smile like a mask and walked towards Clarissa Stanton’s grave.
The return car was already waiting.
Summer rode in the same car as Henry Stanton and Stella Monroe.
Just as the car approached Stanton Manor...
