The Billionaire CEO Wants to Marry Me Every Day-Chapter 525: A Blessing in Disguise
Mio Osborne, with a sullen look, completed the transaction. He couldn’t stay here any longer, so after a quick word with Principal Payne, he hurried away.
Principal Payne didn’t stop him. After presenting flowers to Clarissa Stanton, he held onto Summer Monroe and said, "Monroe, I’m also at fault in this matter. I didn’t supervise the teachers well enough, leading to so many misunderstandings. Once we return to school, I will make him apologize to you publicly. I just hope you won’t let this affect your studies. If you encounter any other issues at school and don’t want to approach Professor Osborne, you can come to me."
Summer knew Principal Payne was a good person, so she replied understandingly, "I understand. Thank you, Principal. Once Professor Osborne apologizes, I won’t bring this matter up again. Just as long as he doesn’t trouble me repeatedly."
Principal Payne nodded repeatedly, "Of course, of course. I will keep an eye on him and counsel him more. I assure you, things like this won’t happen again, and if they do, I will deal with him seriously."
Summer paused and asked, "What kind of serious action?"
Principal Payne furrowed his brows and said, "If this continues, it might indicate that he’s really unsuitable to be a teacher. I will report to Britton University and have Professor Osborne transferred."
Summer responded with a simple "Hmm," and said, "I understand. By the way, there’s something else I want to ask you."
"Go ahead." The principal looked as if he was willing to share anything.
Summer glanced around and noticed Henry Stanton was talking to guests in the distance, which reassured her enough to ask, "Are there any foreign male teachers at the school? Approximately around forty years old?"
"Foreign?" Principal Payne thought for a moment, then shook his head, "No. There are only three foreign teachers, one female and two others much older." 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
"What about foreign students? Students from many years ago. Like... enrolled in 2003."
Principal Payne seemed a bit troubled as he replied, "Every year Crestfall University has tens of thousands of students, and foreign students are not few. You’re talking about past students; I can’t possibly remember. How about this: since these recent incidents partly fall on me, I’ll make an exception and give you the key to the archive room. You can go and look for the person you’re seeking in your free time."
Summer’s eyes lit up, and she nodded repeatedly, "Alright, thank you, Principal!"
"No need. It’s considered something I owe you. Please keep Rachel Ross’s matter confidential, or else it will cause great reputational harm to the school."
"I understand."
As long as she found that man, she wouldn’t need to stay at Crestfall University anymore.
As for Mio Osborne, once this phase was over, they wouldn’t meet again, and she wouldn’t need to mind him too much.
Principal Payne was thoroughly relieved, handing her the archive room key. After greeting Henry Stanton, he left.
Summer watched Principal Payne leave, then looked down at the key lying in her palm, her lips curling into a smile.
This could be considered a blessing in disguise. Although she encountered such a difficult homeroom teacher, it was precisely because of Mio Osborne that she could get the archive room key from Principal Payne.
In that sense, she should thank Mio Osborne.
Just then, Stella Monroe arrived at the backyard.
Her makeup was exquisite, but her face was slightly pale, and she exuded the aura of an aristocratic lady.
Stella’s time in the psychiatric hospital was well concealed by Henry Stanton, so when she appeared, the Crestfall Circle’s noblewomen gathered around to offer their condolences.
Stella nodded faintly, feeling the comfort of others.
At this moment, a lady remarked, "You don’t need to be too sad. Even though you raised her for so many years, she’s adopted and not your own. If you really can’t bear it, just adopt another and name her Clarissa."
As soon as these words were spoken, Stella’s face became even paler.
