The Billionaire CEO Wants to Marry Me Every Day-Chapter 122: Please Forgive Me
This... how is it possible?
Ryder Quinn stood not far from the hospital bed, feeling like he was in a dream.
On the other side, Damian Knight coldly asked Isaac Ross, who was holding his wrist, "Can you let go now?"
Isaac immediately released his grip, coughing awkwardly into his hand.
Who would have thought that a little girl would casually insert a few needles in the patient and actually cure him?
She’s way more skilled than the famous international Dr. Jameson!
Yet Summer Monroe only claimed to know a little bit?
This doesn’t look like just a little bit of knowledge at all?!
Just then, Summer Monroe moved her fingers slightly on the hospital bed and weakly opened her eyes.
As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw the mess in the hospital room. The vase by the door was shattered, and the TV was askew as if there had been a battle.
She sat up and asked in confusion, "What happened just now?"
Damian Knight walked over to her without answering her question and just asked, "How are you feeling?"
Summer shook her head, about to speak when she heard the man on the bed next to her exclaiming in English, "It’s you guys!"
Isaac swiftly struck a hand chop at the man’s neck.
The man’s eyes rolled back, and he fainted.
Summer was shocked by this scene and then reacted, asking, "He was awake?" 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
"Yes." Damian nodded, giving Isaac, who looked uncomfortable, a meaningful glance before saying, "Thanks to you, otherwise we would have had to treat him for another year."
Isaac looked even more embarrassed and straightened up, taking out his phone to make a call, "Get a few guys up here to move this guy back home."
Now that he could communicate normally, he could start the "interrogation."
Jameson walked over to Summer with an admiring look and praised, "Miss, your medical skills are truly impressive! My two teachers were right; Chinese medicine is profound, and there’s so much for us in Western medicine to learn. Honestly, I used to look down on Chinese medicine, thinking my teachers’ visits to rural practitioners were pointless, but clearly, I was short-sighted."
Summer replied with modesty, "Western medicine also has a lot that Chinese medicine can learn from. They’ve always complemented each other, but some people’s prejudice against Chinese medicine hinders understanding."
Isaac listened to these words and felt a bit awkward.
But he’s not someone who refuses to admit his mistakes, so after hesitating for two seconds, Isaac said seriously to Summer, "Miss Monroe, the truly short-sighted one is me. I sincerely apologize. I’m sorry! I hope you can forgive my previous rudeness."
Summer could sense Isaac’s sincerity and didn’t intend to hold it against him, generously saying, "It’s okay, you just didn’t understand. I just hope you can let go of your prejudice against Chinese medicine in the future."
"Rest assured." Isaac suddenly felt invigorated and said firmly, "First thing tomorrow morning, I’ll discuss with my dad about adding a Chinese medicine hospital to our development plan this year."
Summer weakly smiled and said, "If Chinese medicine could develop further in your family, that would be a great thing."
Damian frowned and said, "What’s the development of Chinese medicine got to do with you? Jameson, call the nurse in to give her an IV."
Summer instinctively refused, "I’m fine..."
Damian reminded her expressionlessly, "Don’t overdo it; you’ll still need to climb a rope back to the hotel later."
Hearing this, Summer fell silent.
She knew her own body; she was very weak and needed the IV.
Seeing her not resist anymore, Damian’s expression softened slightly, "Alright, you rest for a while. Isaac, you also hurry with the DNA on her side."
