The Billionaire CEO Wants to Marry Me Every Day-Chapter 111: Heating Up
Summer Monroe was afraid Damian Knight would directly kick her out, so she hurriedly added, "Don’t worry, I won’t disturb your sleep. I’ll just sit in the living room, and when the time comes, I’ll..."
"The hair?" Damian Knight suddenly spoke.
Summer was momentarily stunned, then quickly realized and took off her shoes, removing a wad of tissue paper from the sole.
Inside the tissue was the hair she had secretly pulled from Henry Stanton’s head before leaving.
She said with relief, "It’s a good thing I was cautious and hid the hair on the way, just in case it fell out of a pocket."
As she spoke, Summer took out the hair and walked forward to hand it to Damian Knight.
Damian received it disdainfully and, after saying, "Wait here," made a phone call: "Send someone over, I need a DNA test."
On the other end of the line, Isaac Ross’s eyelid twitched in surprise as he asked, "No way? You got someone pregnant? You’re not that type..."
"It’s not for me, stop talking nonsense, send someone over immediately. I’m in the penthouse suite at Crestfall Hotel. Don’t make a fuss and let them come quietly."
With that, he hung up straight away.
Summer instinctively started, "Thank..."
But before she could finish the word, Damian impatiently picked at his ear and interrupted her, "Didn’t I tell you? Stop saying those two words. It’s annoying."
Summer was speechless, "You really are..."
He’s clearly a kind-hearted person, but it’s really hard to like what comes out of his mouth.
"What’s wrong with me?" Damian lifted his chin to look at her.
"Nothing." Summer shook her head, "I said you’re a good person."
Damian pouted disdainfully, "I don’t like you, don’t give me a good person card. I’m not a good person."
Summer looked at him, shook her head, and said seriously, "No, I really think you’re a good person. If it were someone else, I wouldn’t dare to come just like that."
Damian frowned.
If it were someone else, and she dared to come, he’d break her legs.
Thinking of legs, Damian couldn’t help but glance at Summer’s legs again.
Her legs were so white they glowed, long and slender, with well-defined lines, making one want to touch and feel the texture...
Suddenly, Damian felt like the room’s temperature had risen again.
He swallowed and said, "Wait in the living room, I’ll take a shower."
"Alright... don’t mind me, just rest. I’ll leave in a little while."
Damian said nothing further and walked on his own into the bedroom’s bathroom.
Soon, Summer heard the sound of running water coming from the bathroom.
Her previously relaxed sitting posture began to feel a little restless.
Being in the same room with a man while listening to him shower was an indescribably strange feeling.
Summer couldn’t help but stand up and pace back and forth in the living room. Not long after, the water stopped, and footsteps grew increasingly closer from the bedroom.
Her heart pounded faster in time with the nearing footsteps.
She pressed her right hand over her chest in annoyance.
What was this? Why was she so nervous? It’s not like they were really going to do anything.
But the more she tried to calm down, the more uncontrollable her heartbeat became.
Until the bedroom door opened with a creak, and Summer’s heart nearly leapt out of her throat.
She clenched both hands into tight fists, unable to stop herself from swallowing loudly.
Just then, there was a knock at the door.
"Your person is here!" Summer lifted her foot to go open the door.
"Wait!" Damian strode over to her.
