The Bigshot Married Himself to the Heiress-Chapter 656 - 697: Unsold Bird’s Nests
"So, our Curly loves me so much."
The little girl’s words warmed Adrian Desmond’s heart; gratification and relief spread through him. His affection for her had not been in vain.
"Dad, I love you so much, as much as the Ocean." Curly made a wide gesture, and Adrian kissed her forehead, saying, "My love for you is also as vast as the Ocean."
"HUSH. This is our secret. Don’t let Mom know; otherwise, she’ll get jealous again."
Your wife is so childish, always vying with our daughter for attention. Jealous? As if I could steal her husband away.
Adrian truly loved it when his two women were jealous over him. He liked the feeling of being cherished by them.
"Dad, let me down quickly. I want to give the bird’s nest to Grandma and have her make bird’s nest porridge for me."
"Hmm." Adrian then unbuckled his daughter’s safety belt and set her down.
"Grandma, look how many bird’s nests I picked! Make me a beauty bird’s nest, make Curly pretty..."

Sienna Johnson woke up to find it was already noon. Seeing the sun high in the sky, she remembered the important tasks she had neglected that day and took out her frustration on Adrian’s pillow.
"Adrian Desmond, you infuriate me!"
Sienna hurriedly brushed her teeth, washed her face, changed her clothes, and was about to go out when Adrian came in.
"You’re up?" Adrian had just entered. He wore a camouflage suit that was a bit dirty, and he smelled of sweat. He must have gone to practice his martial arts, Sienna thought, glaring at him.
"I overslept. Why didn’t you wake me up?" she complained.
"Wake you up for what?" he asked, walking towards the bathroom.
Sienna didn’t have time to argue with him and turned to leave, but Adrian grabbed her arm.
"I need to take a bath. You can wash me."
"I don’t have time. I still need to pick bird’s nests today."
"For the sake of your bird’s nests, you should really thank me."
"Yes, yes, thank you, Sixth Master, for helping me find people to pick the bird’s nests. I’ll go check on how the picking is going."
Sienna was focused on important matters and had no time to dally with Adrian.
"The bird’s nests were all picked long ago."
"How is that possible?" The number of bird’s nests on Swallow Island was not to be underestimated. No matter how many people Adrian found, it was impossible to pick them all in a single morning.
"It’s true. If I’m lying to you, may I never eat meat again in my life!"
This was indeed a dire oath for Adrian, so Sienna finally believed him.
"How many people did you find? How did you pick them so quickly?"
She followed him into the bathroom and filled the tub with water. Adrian shamelessly undressed in front of her and got into the bathtub.
"Rub my back!"
Adrian behaved like an Uncle, closing his eyes and leaning back, waiting for Sienna to serve him.
"How did you pick them so quickly?"
"Many hands make light work."
Sienna smiled but didn’t say "thank you," because the Sixth Master hated such insipid expressions of gratitude.
"Hey, you haven’t washed down there yet."
"Can’t you wash down there yourself?"
"I picked bird’s nests all morning, and my arms are so tired I can barely lift them. You haven’t even said ’thank you,’ and now you’re just going through the motions while washing me."
This attitude of expecting something in return for his kindness diminished Sienna’s gratitude. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
"If you didn’t always have that look of expecting repayment every time you did something for me, I think I’d be more grateful."
He slowly opened his eyes, not in the least bit ashamed. "If I do good deeds and don’t let others know, then didn’t I do them for nothing?"
Sienna firmly pinched his most vulnerable part, and Adrian could no longer smile.
"Let go!"
"Does it hurt?"
"What do you think?"
Sienna showed no mercy. This was no playful pinch; she twisted hard, as if intending to cripple him.
"I don’t have one of those, so how would I know? Sixth Master, does it hurt?"
"Let go, or I’ll deal with you tonight!"
Sienna knew when to stop. She threw a towel at him and said, "I told you to wash yourself, but you insisted I do it. I guess I don’t know my own strength."
"Really? Even though you don’t have my ’thing,’ you have something quite similar... Want to know if it hurts? Why don’t you try it for yourself?"
Adrian, always one to retaliate, unfastened her clothes, covered her breast with his large hand, and squeezed forcefully, only to have Sienna splash water in his face.
"I’m angry! I’m not talking to you anymore!"
"So stingy. You pinched me, and I didn’t get angry. I gently pinched you once, and you got angry." His hand caressed her breast, teasing her.
"Wash yourself!"
Sienna covered her chest with one hand, got up, and fled the bathroom, Adrian’s triumphant laughter echoing behind her.

Boxes of unprocessed feather nests were transported to the processing factory for deep processing into edible bird’s nests, ready to be put on the market.
The bird’s nest market in Amwan was already mature, but the "Cloudscape" registered bird’s nests lacked recognition locally.
Sienna’s initial market positioning was domestic, but the bird’s nest production on Swallow Island far exceeded her expectations.
The few pharmacies she owned in the domestic market could no longer handle such a large volume of bird’s nest sales.
"Why isn’t anyone buying such good bird’s nests?" Pauline Briggs sighed.
Nowadays, their family ate bird’s nests with every meal, all top-quality. After consuming them for some time, they had truly discovered their benefits.
Yet, despite being so good, these bird’s nests weren’t selling well.
Sienna ate the bird’s nest in her bowl and said, "Southeast Agaia is the primary producing region for bird’s nests, and those from Cagalanga are especially high quality. With the market already so mature, it’s naturally difficult for us, as newcomers, to break in."
"Then what should we do? Just throw these bird’s nests away?"
Of course not, Sienna mused.
Production was so high that her stores could no longer handle the sales volume. Instead of returning to the domestic market to explore new avenues, she figured she might as well try a different approach in Abyanabad. After all, people there were more familiar with bird’s nests and more receptive.
Seeing Sienna’s troubled expression, the old lady consoled her, "If you can’t sell them, then you can’t sell them. Besides labor, these things don’t really have much initial cost."
"That won’t do. I went to so much trouble to have them picked, not to let them sit in a warehouse and grow mold."
Adrian, standing to the side, said nothing, continuing to feed his daughter bird’s nest. Seeing the increasingly radiant skin of his wife and daughter, he thought this stuff really is good. If it doesn’t sell, we can just keep it at home for them to eat.
