The Bigshot Married Himself to the Heiress-Chapter 470 - 471: The Slick Heartbreaker
Yvette Harris pinched his face and teased, "Jonas, I seem to be falling for you more and more."
"Then let’s get married," Jonas casually suggested with a smile.
Yvette was taken aback, clearly not expecting such a proposal from Jonas. After a moment, she asked slowly, "Aren’t we fine as we are?"
"I just want to be with you forever," he said casually.
"We can still be together forever even if we don’t get married."
"I don’t feel secure."
After saying that, Jonas went back to cooking. His father was a chef, so he himself was highly skilled in the kitchen. More and more men these days seemed like they couldn’t look after themselves. A good-looking, mature, and stable man like Jonas was indeed rare.
"Are you afraid I’ll leave you?" Yvette laughed.
"Yes, I don’t feel secure."
"I promise I won’t leave you. I’m still falling for you, so how could I ever abandon you?"
Yvette’s hand moved towards his chest. Jonas stiffened and stopped her. "Let’s eat first."
"I want to have you before the meal." Yvette kissed Jonas, who smiled charmingly and said ambiguously, "But if I don’t eat, I won’t have the energy."
"Alright, I’ll let you off for now."
Yvette stayed in the kitchen, watching Jonas cook. His knife skills were excellent as he cut potatoes into thin and quick slices. "Our Jonas is so talented. He’s good at everything."
"Can you stop staring at me?"
"Why? You said you wanted me to, didn’t you? I watch you, and now you don’t want me to?" Yvette flirted.
Age is undeniable. Even with the best skincare and lots of Hyaluronic acid injections, Yvette couldn’t hide the tiny wrinkles at the corners of her eyes when she laughed.
Jonas said, "When you’re watching me, I get distracted. I don’t want to cut my hand while chopping."
Yvette laughed. "Alright, I’m going."
Just before leaving, Yvette patted Jonas’s butt. Jonas stiffened but still had a smile on his face. "Stop messing around. Go take a bath."
"Okay, you too. And don’t cook too much. Just rustle up something."
"Sure."
As Jonas watched Yvette head upstairs, he took out a packet of drugs from his pocket and dropped it into the lemon soda water. He shook the drink, and the powder dissolved completely, revealing no trace.

The luxurious bathroom, painted in golden hues, was over fifty square meters. Yvette bathed in a rose aromatherapy spa in a tub with a massage function, her body filled with fragrance.
After her bath, her skin was glowing, and her face looked as smooth and fair as a freshly peeled egg, with a rosy, translucent glow.
She applied her makeup in the mirror, her entire body smelling sweetly.
When she headed downstairs, Yvette was dressed in a peach-colored, semi-transparent lingerie, her graceful figure swaying as she descended the spiral staircase, her thick, long hair draped over her back.
"Jonas, is dinner ready?"
Yvette entered the living room to see Jonas, wearing an apron, bringing out the dishes he had prepared. He looked every bit the perfect domestic man.
If she didn’t have an innate wariness of men, she might have thought about marrying this man. But those were only fleeting thoughts. She didn’t want to get married and risk losing half her property in a divorce. Those assets were the result of numerous nights spent with countless men.
As Jonas finished setting the table, he mentioned, "There’s also a beauty-enhancing lily soup..." He then brought a glass of lemon soda water from the kitchen and handed it to Yvette, saying, "And here’s your beauty lemon soda."
Yvette had watched a Kandaran beauty program claiming that soda water could beautify and delay aging. Since then, she had started drinking soda water and even used it for bathing.
"Thank you."
Jonas watched as she slowly sipped the lemon soda water, his smile growing brighter. Whenever Yvette saw Jonas smile at her, her mood brightened. He was such a considerate man.
"Jonas, don’t be so formal with Sister," Yvette said generously. "If you want anything, just tell Sister. Sister will buy it all for you."
Jonas dropped his smile and said somberly, "I don’t want anything. My mother is sick. I need to go back home and take care of her for a few days. Can you manage alone?"
"Your mother is sick? What illness? Is it serious?" Yvette asked with concern.
"It’s not serious. I just want to see her. My mom... she misses me a lot..." Jonas became emotional at the mention of "mother."
"You’re such a devoted son. If our Angelo were half as devoted as you, I could die in peace."
"Angelo is still young."
Angelo, Yvette’s 12-year-old son, was a spoiled brat who ran amok, giving Yvette constant headaches.
Unwilling to discuss her troublesome son with her lover, Yvette said, "Well... since your mother is ill, you should go."
"Thank you!"
Yvette wrapped her arms around his neck to kiss him, but Jonas skillfully dodged, and she ended up kissing his cheek.
"Are you still being formal with me? You can’t go home empty-handed. Let the Driver take you and bring some things with you. Put it on my tab."
Jonas’s expression changed. "No need. I don’t want the people in the village to know about us."
Having been someone’s mistress before, Yvette knew how he felt, so she didn’t press him further. "Alright, we’ll do it your way, as long as you’re happy."
「...」
"Let’s eat."
"Okay."
「...」
In the luxurious room, on the bed big enough for four people, Yvette tossed and turned, grimacing in pain, and making agonized noises.
Jonas walked in with a burly man. This man had a square face, average looks, and tattoos on both arms.
"Once it’s done, get out immediately. Don’t delay, understand?" Russell Austin solemnly instructed the man he had brought.
"I get it. We’ve cooperated so many times. When have we ever had a problem?"
The man looked at the woman on the bed. Her fair, delicate skin was even better than that of the girls in their village. "Bro, this woman may be old, but she’s well-preserved. How could you give such a good thing to me?"
"I can’t get it up when I see her!"
Russell Austin had spiked the lemon soda water with a hallucinogenic aphrodisiac. At this point, Yvette couldn’t differentiate who was who.
Jonas walked out. As he closed the door, he glanced through the crack and saw the man pouncing on Yvette. He quickly shut the door completely and went downstairs.
He picked up Yvette’s LV handbag, took out her phone, and read the text messages. Seeing nothing suspicious, his eyes reflected a trace of disappointment.
Still no clue?
