The Art of Pursuing: The Unyielding Ex-wife-Chapter 357: This ring looks really familiar
He calmly fastened the buttons on his suit jacket, then gracefully bent over and extended his left hand.
Munni placed her right hand in his outstretched palm and elegantly got out of the car, naturally linking her arm through his left arm.
Their appearance together made the reporters somewhat excited, and the frequency of flashing lights increased.
The reporters surrounding the red carpet eagerly stretched out their microphones to ask questions.
"Chairman Xu, have you and Miss Qin established a relationship?"
"When do you plan to remarry?"
"What led you both to get back together?"
To the questions thrown by reporters, they seemed oblivious, walking gracefully and with composure toward the hotel.
The wedding was being held on the third floor of the hotel. When they took the elevator to the third floor, the groom, Yu Zhenlin, who was outside greeting guests, keenly spotted Xu Yisen and Munni.
He quickly excused himself from the guests and strode over to greet them.
"Yisen, thanks for coming to my wedding." He paused and looked at Munni, with a deeper smile in his eyes, "Munni, it’s been a long time."
"Yes, congratulations on your wedding. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness and children soon."
"Thank you."
After a few simple exchanges of blessings, Munni and Xu Yisen found their seats with their names written on them and sat down.
Also at their table were the Liang family brothers and some other close friends.
No sooner had Munni sat down than Liang Jiuchen, next to her, noticed the diamond ring on her right middle finger. A roguish smile spread across his lips as he stared at Munni’s right hand, teasingly saying, "Sis, this ring looks awfully familiar."
His teasing words drew the attention of the others at the table, and they all turned their gaze toward Munni’s slender, fair right hand resting on the table.
The diamond ring on her middle finger was extraordinarily striking — a six-carat pear-shaped diamond surrounded by fifty-two pink diamonds, radiating exceptionally luxurious brilliance under the overhead crystal light.
"Wow, the news saying you two got back together is actually true?"
"Congratulations, congratulations! Why didn’t you inform us of such great news? Next time, we need to celebrate properly!"
"Munni, how come you gave in so quickly? You should have kept Yisen waiting a bit longer!"
"Finally caught the goddess, Yisen, yet you’re still so low-key. You’re quite the secret keeper!"
Everyone joked and teased Munni and Xu Yisen who were sitting together.
"It’s because I’m worried you might get jealous seeing Munni and me so in love."
Everyone dismissed him with a scornful noise, unceremoniously ridiculing Xu Yisen’s flimsy excuse.
"Stop boasting, treat Munni well. Such a lovely girl — how did she end up with you? It’s a real pity!"
"Exactly. Munni, I think you need to teach Yisen a lesson, quell his arrogance."
"I reckon if Yisen annoys us in the future, we can go straight to Munni for a little tattle, this guy looks like he’s already under the thumb!"
Xu Yisen remained unfazed by everyone’s ridicule, his lips consistently holding a faintly rogue smile.
When everyone finally settled down from their teasing, he gently held Munni’s hand and softly asked, "Munni, why is your hand so cold? Are you feeling chilly?"
Everyone disdainfully glanced at Xu Yisen, easily recognizing his deliberate display of affection.
Munni couldn’t help but smile; she shook her head, "Not at all."
Sitting beside her, Liang Jiuchen restlessly chimed in.
