The Art of Pursuing: The Unyielding Ex-wife-Chapter 343:
"Boss, Chairman Xu, let me gossip a bit..."
Before he could finish, Munni interrupted, "Gossiping will cost you ten percent of your salary. You can try asking a few more questions."
"...Please wait a moment, I’ll have Chef Fujino prepare your dinner right away."
Dong Chujun shrugged helplessly and turned to leave their table.
"Munni, are you really not considering hiring some female staff to balance the Yin and Yang in the restaurant?"
"No, I want to absorb the Yang energy from them."
Yisen: "...!"
He pressed his lips together for a moment, then slowly raised his eyes to look at the smiling Munni sitting across from him, "You can just absorb my Yang energy. Don’t harm other innocent people."
"I plan to cultivate into a thousand-year-old demoness. Your Yang energy alone is not enough for my cultivation."
Yisen: "...!"
Dong Chujun quickly served each dish they ordered. The two hadn’t had a proper meal the whole week abroad, so they found this meal exceptionally satisfying.
After dinner, Munni didn’t forget to go to the kitchen to praise the hard-working head chef and sous chef.
However, both of them waved her away in unison, telling her to hurry up and go on her date with Yisen instead of being an eyesore there.
Munni let out a gentle smile, bid farewell to the other staff, and left with Yisen.
By the time Yisen and Munni left the restaurant, the sky was already dark. The summer night breeze carried a hint of coolness, feeling pleasant. Munni slightly lowered the car window, her fingers rhythmically tapping on the glass.
Sitting in the driver’s seat, Yisen glanced at her. The street lights flickered across her face, illuminating the elegant curve of her lips, which seemed to pierce through the darkness with a bright and dazzling brilliance.
They drove to Fansi Mall and took the elevator to the cinema on the fourth floor after parking the car in the lot.
The ticket area was bustling. Munni and Yisen went to the self-service ticket machine to buy tickets.
Standing next to Yisen, Munni’s eyes fell on the movie "Fate" displayed on the screen, and she gave a mischievous smile.
She nudged Yisen lightly with her elbow, "Hey, the movie with your old flame premiered yesterday. Did you ask me out just to support her?"
Though teasing him about the possibly misunderstood past relationship with Xia Yuge, her tone contained no dissatisfaction or blame, only the playful banter typical between couples.
Yisen gave a fleeting glance at the image of the movie "Fate" with Xia Yuge and calmly flipped to the next page, selecting another newly released romance movie.
He turned to look at Munni, a gentle smile spreading across his picturesque face, "To prevent the actress from the movie ’Fate’ from being an eyesore, we’ll watch this one instead."
Munni couldn’t help but laugh, "I might not like the supporting actress of that movie, but I do like the lead actor."
Yisen raised his eyebrows slightly, pretending to respond seriously, "That gives us all the more reason not to watch it. It’s rare for our parents to have a daughter-in-law, we can’t let someone steal her away."
While teasing, he purchased the two movie tickets.
With fifteen minutes to spare before the movie started, Munni and Yisen got in line to buy popcorn and drinks before entering the theater.
