Chapter 190: Uncontrollable Desires

Louis took a deep breath and looked at her, his blue eyes filled with tenderness. He held her hands gently, and Cordelia winced at the warmth of his touch. As she melted in his gaze, she relaxed, waiting for him to speak.

"I love you, Cordelia. No one else, only you. I’ve hurt you the most, and it might be hypocritical to say that I’ve loved you all my life, but that is the truth," he said, his voice soft but resolute.

Louis gently rubbed the back of her hands with his thumbs, his touch both comforting and assuring. "Cordelia, you deserve to be treated with the utmost respect. You will stand by my side as my wife," he continued, his eyes unwaveringly focused on her. "I want you to be careful from now on. Once I secure your position, I don’t care about what you do, as long as you continue to love me the same."

Cordelia’s eyes filled with tears, this time out of happiness. She covered her mouth with her hands and leaned on his shoulder. "You mean it?"

"I do," Louis affirmed, embracing her and kissing her hair.

"You love me still?" she asked, needing to hear it again to believe it was real.

"Very much. How can I not when you’re willing to do anything for me?" he replied, hugging her closer. "I’ve never felt this much love from anyone else before in my life."

"I too didn’t know I could love this deeply," Cordelia said, touched by how open he was with his feelings. She hugged him tighter. "I love you, Louis."

"I love you too, Cordelia," he responded, his voice full of sincerity.

Cordelia smiled, leaning into his chest. A weight lifted from her heart, and she felt lighter than ever. "Oh, this is the best day of my life," she said, her voice full of joy.

They stayed in each other’s embrace for some time, savoring the newfound closeness.

"I’ll ask for your family’s permission tomorrow morning," Louis said, wanting to make their relationship official as soon as possible.

"It’s not like they are going to refuse. Even if they pretend to, just walk away. They’ll chase after you," Cordelia said with a chuckle.

Louis rubbed her head affectionately and kissed her hair. It warmed his heart to know that she didn’t want him to beg, even to her parents.

"She won’t let this proceed... Celena..." Cordelia’s hold on his back tightened, her voice filled with concern.

Louis let out a deep breath. "She doesn’t want me to marry," he said, holding Cordelia’s cheeks gently.

Cordelia’s eyes widened. The implication that Celena wanted Louis to remain heirless for some reason made her heart skip a beat. She trusted him, though, and the fear in her heart began to dissipate.

"Don’t you worry. I’ll get help," Louis assured her, knowing exactly who to turn to for support.

Cordelia let out a deep breath and nodded, feeling a renewed sense of trust in him. The man she fell in love with had always kept his word to her. She didn’t have to worry. She could also seek help if needed.

"I should go," Louis said gently, holding her shoulders. "We can’t be gone for too long, lest it causes speculations."

"You love me," Cordelia said with a smile, her misty eyes adding to her allure. The contentment on her face made Louis’s heart skip a beat.

"You’re very pretty, my love," he said, gently caressing her cheek. "We are going to make very handsome babies..." He smiled, his eyes twinkling with love.

Cordelia smiled, her eyes curving with joy. In that seemingly innocuous sentence, he had managed to express his own handsomeness, but she didn’t mind. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

"Babies..." she giggled, looking at him. "We haven’t even kissed yet.

Louis leaned back covering his mouth with the back of his hand as she leaned forward. "Will you stop this?" he asked.

Although he tried to sound harsh, he failed. He couldn’t. She looked adorable.

"Stop what?" Cordelia pouted. "When you confess, you should kiss. It’s the rule."

"Rule?" Louis raised his brows.

"Yes," Cordelia nodded. "You do know I won’t get pregnant with a kiss, don’t you?" she tilted her head and asked cutely.

Louis glared at her; his trembling lips barely pressed together to keep him from laughing.

"You’re cruel, Your Royal Highness," she pouted and turned her face. "You’re making me beg for everything..."

Louis watched her pout with a smile. She looked so adorable.

"Stop laughing and kiss me!" Cordelia jumped on him all of a sudden. Wrapping her legs around his waist, she straddled him. "Don’t be a prude, Louis. Come on!" she held his cheeks.

"You nasty little..." Louis gritted his teeth. With a smooth movement, he pushed her down and climbed on top of her. She was still wrapping her legs around his waist.

Her ample chest was rubbing against his chest and his nose was almost touching hers.

"You want a kiss?" he asked, his minty breath warm against her tingling lips.

His big hand grabbed her thigh passionately as his other hand wrapped around her throat. Cordelia let out a short moan feeling the hardness of his manhood on her.

"Do not tempt me..." he hissed in her ear. "How do you like your lips red and swollen? Your clothes torn and scattered on the floor? How about your body riddled with marks of my passionate lips in the places where you can’t speak of?"

"I’d love it..." Cordelia said rubbing her waist against his crotch. Her breathing got labored imagining everything Louis said.

"Is this what they taught you?" he said with a scoff. He smirked seeing her completely surrendered to him and licked her cheek making her shudder under him. "Vixen," he muttered as he licked her pink lips.

She let out a moan as her chest curved.

"You like this?" he asked, as she turned red hot.

He stuck his velvety tongue inside her mouth and licked her tongue, sending her to a satisfied tremble.

"Wait for our wedding night," he said, pressing her shoulders and pushing himself up.

Cordelia had lost every ounce of strength in her body. She didn’t have the strength to open her eyes even. Her entire face tingled and the warmth he left on her tongue spread to her heart and boiled her breath.

That surely was not enough.

"I won’t be long, love," he kissed her forehead.

He stood beside her and watched her as she burned in desire. The fire in his lower abdomen had been kindled to a raging wildfire too, but he knew this was not the time for that.

"Do not come out now. Rest for some time," he said before walking out. He didn’t like others to see her this adorable.

He walked out of the room and closed the door gently. His men were standing by the door.

"She fainted and is resting. Find her maid," he said. "And find out where the Archduke is."

The knight walked away with a bow. Louis leaned on the wall in deep thought.
