<Quest Completed!>

[Congratulations! You have completed the quest: Kill the Boss!]

[Rewards will be granted shortly.]

Buji was intrigued by the system’s notification. He couldn’t wait to see the rewards, but he didn’t want to rush it either.

He wanted to settle while going through the rewards when it came.

New novel chapt𝒆rs are published on ƒгeewebnovёl.com.

In the meantime, he, with his teammates was distracted by the continuous "congratulations" from the crowd outside the raided dungeon.

"Congratulations."

"Congratulations."

"Congratulations."

The lorry that would be conveying Buji and his teammates back to school had arrived, they knew from the roaring of the lorry’s engine. So, they turned to the direction where they heard the sound of the lorry to see the vehicle slowly maneuver through the crowd of onlookers who had gathered to witness the successful return of the hunters.

The lorry came to a stop a few meters away, with its headlights cutting through the dusk.

"Thank you very much."

"It’s my pleasure," Buji said trying to shove the onlookers who couldn’t stop congratulating him away.

Every member of his team was weak, with Instructor Jean already severely injured. So, they hurried, together with Buji to the lorry.

The lorry driver, a burly man stepped out and waved them over. As they approached, he pulled open the sliding door so that the hunters could alight.

"Let’s get moving then," he said with a gruff voice.

Instructor Gib caught his hands as he made to transverse to the other side of the car. "Take us to the hospital first," she said.

"I got the orders earlier, so…"

"So, okay."

"I’d prefer heading back to school directly," Buji said firmly.

Everyone seated in the lorry turned to look at him. They knew he was injured, even Instructor Jean could attest to the fact that he had sustained injury from the bat’s burst of mana shards.

"What are you saying," Kira’s voice cut through the silence that followed Buji’s declaration.

Buji hesitated. He had sustained injuries, quite yes, but they weren’t severe enough to warrant a hospital visit. And he wasn’t in the mood for the formalities that came with medical checks, not to talk of the scent that oozes from hospitals.

"You sure about that?" Instructor Jean struggled to say, clutching onto his shoulder tightly where had been stabbed. "I mean, you sustained an injury too. You went through a lot in there."

"Well, thanks to Rose’s initial healing magic. Seems like I don’t feel the pains any longer," Buji replied.

"Even if you feel fine, internal injuries can be tricky, you know," Rose commented. "My healing magic only focuses on the external injuries. It’s not advanced yet."

"Oh, is that?" Buji said as if he was surprised and still insisted. "Well, I appreciate the concern, but I’m fine."

"Are you for real?" Emra chipped in.

’Emra? What’s your concern in this matter? But anyway…’

"I’m good," Buji replied. I’d like to take some time to rest. If anything feels off, I will visit the infirmary at school."

Instructor Gib looked at Instructor Jean for approval or disapproval. At the signal from Instructor Jean, Instructor Gib sighed but nodded. "Alright, since you insist."

Buji nodded in gratitude as the lorry roared back to life. It followed the path that led to their school first, which meant he was going to drop Buji off before taking the others to the hospital for medical checks and treatment.

During the little moment they spent in the lorry, Buji’s mind raced from what possible rewards would be given to him by the system, and the solo raid he was getting himself into the next day.

What if he decides to skip the quest? What will happen?

When his daily quest started, the system had only warned him that he would receive punishment. The punishment seemed minor to him since he was only going to be deducted some SP (Score Points) from his scores.

But then, it meant there would surely be punishment if he decided to miss this weekly quest, and he didn’t want to know what it would be. He didn’t want to think of it either, so, he would go for it.

Since the system helped him in there, it will surely do the same the next day.

The lorry had stopped in front of the school gate, waiting for him to step down from it. Buji stepped down from the lorry and waved in gratitude to the driver, and then to his teammates.

He watched as the lorry roared back to life, carrying his teammates, and disappeared into the lonely road. He remembered their fallen comrade, Doris, and how she was left in the dungeon alone.

Instructor Jean had told him that except for the treasures they got after any raid, anything that happened in the dungeon didn’t come out. So, like that, Doris’ body is…

The thought alone left a heavy feeling in his chest, but he shook it off and began the solitary walk back to school.

The school environment was quiet by the time Buji entered through the gates. The moon hung high in the sky, casting a faint glow over the buildings. Proof that it was night already.

Buji trudged to the dormitory building. His body ached but his mind was restless. He was not sure what he thought about at the moment, but his mind…

He was back again in the dormitory’s hallway, and through the stairs, he made his way to his room.

Finally, he reached his room and immediately pulled off his robes, flinging them onto the bed by the side as he collapsed onto it. The soft mattress felt like a blessing welcoming him back to life after experiencing the hard cavern floors. For a moment, he simply lay there, staring at the ceiling, letting the silence wash over him.

The sound of the dinner bell rang, but he didn’t feel like attending. So, he ignored it.

He collected his smartphone from the stool beside his bed and opened the messaging app. There was no reasonable message yet, so, he thought it was not time for the reward.

But then, his eyes flickered to the highlights of a message. "Download Hunter’s App."

He sat up on the edge of the bed and looked at the unread message again as if deciding what to do.

He clicked the tab and the message opened. He read the details of the message which contained the link that will be used to download the app, and his profile details.

He was also provided with his login ID which he was going to use, but after he had created his profile password.

Buji followed all the steps accordingly and was finally able to access his profile.

As soon as his profile opened, his thumb immediately hovered to the account button by the bottom left side, and it loaded and opened.

Unlike the former message he had read some days back with his message app, this one showed his balance in bold highlight before providing the details below.

<HUN 248,000.00>

Acct Number: 44*****189

Currency: Huncoins

Sender: WHA (World Hunters Association)

Amount: HUN 32,000.00

Desc.: S-Rank hunter

Balance: HUN 146,000.00

"Well…" he said with a smile.

Acct Number: 44*****189

Currency: Huncoins

Sender: WHA (World Hunters Association)

Amount: HUN 70,000.00

Desc.: Share from Dungeon Treasure

Balance: HUN 216,000.00

"Hmm… seems like the dungeon treasures this time were much if I had to get this amount," he muttered. "Even though I expected it to be more since we killed the dungeon boss this time.

Acct Number: 44*****189

Currency: Huncoins

Sender: Raid Team Selection Division

Amount: HUN 32,000.00

Desc.: Dungeon Raid Success (Debut Team)

Balance: HUN 248,000.00

"Cool. Cool. Yeah… pretty cool."

But he noticed a change this time. Initially, it was the WHA who paid him for Dungeon Raid Success, now it is the Raid Team Selection Division. Maybe because then, he hadn’t joined any team was why the WHA had to pay him.

’I guess.’

Then, a thought came to his mind.

’How much worth is this currency in dollars?’

His eyes navigated the app until it met with the currency tab. He clicked on it and allowed it to drop down options of different currencies. He searched and found the Dollar currency and selected it.

Afterward, he checked his balance. <$248>

"So, H1000.00 (1000 Huncoins) make up $1.00. Hmm. And I thought I was rich," he said and changed it back to the Huncoin currency. He preferred to see large numbers, at least in the meantime.

He left the Account tab and hovered his fingers over to the Profile tab.

There, he saw a little information about himself as a student.

Buji saw the bracket and didn’t understand what it meant. Since the Achievement came as a button, he clicked on it to load and open it.
