The Alpha's Forsaken Feisty Mate-Chapter 60: Scaring her again
"Radulf isn’t allowing me to do anything. I am perfectly fine now. And he is not letting me help him either in the office work," Zenna complained to Pia as she sat on the chaise comfortably.
"Isn’t that good?" Pia asked. "The Alpha is concerned for you," she stated. "By the way, why are you both not sleeping together? Is Alpha avoiding you or are you avoiding him at night?" Pia probed with squinting eyes.
"I am avoiding him after what he did to me. Do you think it’s easy to forgive your oppressor? No matter what he does, I won’t sleep with him," Zenna stated with a sudden anger in her tone. She was driven to take her own life because of him.
"I understand, Luna," Pia stated.
"Pia, I know you want my good, but I am not in love with him. I desired his love for four years. When he returned, all I got his hate. And everyday, I see it. He doesn’t like me. Also, I am tired of making efforts," Zenna explained to her.
"Hmm. That’s true. Don’t give in easily. Instead, let the Alpha burn for you," Pia asserted with a grin.
"What do you mean? He burns in anger after seeing me," Zenna muttered.
Pia quickly sat next to her and held her shoulders. "Luna, how could you be so naive?" Her eyes glued to Zenna’s raven one.
"What are you talking about?" Zenna was still confused with Pia’s comment.
"Luna, you are Alpha Radulf’s mate. The one chosen by the Moon Goddess herself! You can bring the Alpha on his knees and make him beg for your love. Alpha can smell your pheromones, your scent and I bet it drives him wild. You don’t know omegas are a weakness to any alpha werewolf. Bring him to you like a moth to the flame. With that, his feelings may grow for you," Pia asserted with a glint in her eyes.
Zenna contemplated and recalled how Radulf asked her to stay away from him. And she didn’t want to... Her thoughts stopped there and shook her head.
"I have no intention to drive him wild. He is already a crazy wolf. And bringing him on his knees is impossible. He is arrogant and will hurt me with his harsh remarks. You don’t know Radulf. He isn’t the man you used to describe him. The man you saw four years ago no longer exists." Zenna lowered her eyes, suddenly feeling low.
Pia understood what her Luna wanted to say. "It’s alright, Luna. You should take enough time for yourself. I hope Alpha sees how beautiful you are from the heart. I know one day he will melt away and give in himself to you," she affirmed.
Zenna didn’t say anything and saw Pia leave. "Will he truly melt away?" she murmured.

Radulf came to check on Zenna after finishing his work and found her reading a book. He scanned his eyes around to spot the flowers that Gregor had sent for her.
"What are you looking for?" Zenna asked, lowering the book in her hand.
"Did you get flowers?" Radulf asked.
"Huh?" Zenna frowned. "What do you mean?" she queried.
"I heard you got some beautiful flowers," Radulf replied. He knew his approach was quite direct, but he less bothered about all that now. His prime aim was to discard them. Gregor needed to mind his own business when Zenna was married.
"Yes, I got them. But why are you suddenly interested in seeing them?" She finally left the chaise. "They are in my bedchamber. Do you want to–" she hadn’t even finished her words and quickly rushed to the bedchamber.
"What’s wrong with him?" Zenna murmured and went after him. She saw how Radulf was staring at those flowers. "Do you like seeing the flowers? Our garden has a lot of varities," she stated, stopping next to him.
"You like lilies," Radulf looked at her.
"Is that a question or an answer?" Zenna arched her brow.
"I’m asking," he replied.
"I like all kinds of flowers," Zenna answered with a tiny smile on her lips. "All the flowers are pleasant to see and carry certain meaning. So, I don’t have any favorite," she added.
"Are you sure?" Radulf asked. Savio told him that Gregor gifted her favorite flowers. Why was she lying to him?
"You are acting strange," Zenna muttered.
"Because you aren’t telling the truth. Who gave you these flowers?" Radulf asked.
"What’s with your tone? Are you here to argue with me over this?" Zenna raised her voice and pivoted on her heels to leave. However, Radulf caught her wrist and twirled her only to trap her between the round table and him. "Did Gregor give them to you?"
"What?" Zenna tightened her fists. She was utterly disappointed in him. "What if he did? What will you do? Will you go and fight with him?" Her eyes searched for the exact answer.
"You are someone’s wife. Can’t your friend keep this small thing in his mind?" Radulf growled, ignoring Black who was asking him to calm down.
’You are scaring her again. I hate you,’ Black snapped at him.
"Julian sent these flowers for me," Zenna finally said. "He has sent one bouquet for you as well. His mother and he sells the flowers in the market to earn their livelihood," she asserted, tears engulfing in her eyes.
Radulf’s grip on her wrists loosened to hear that and his expression turned into a one with shocking gaze.
"That kiddo sent this flowers?" Radulf asked.
"Yes," Zenna replied. "You are pathetic. Add this to your list too," she yelled at him before pushing him away and leaving his sight.
Radulf ran his fingers through his hair and chuckled bitterly. "Savio, I’m going to kill you. You made me look pathetic in her eyes. I seriously got crazy for a moment," he mumbled to himself.
’I am not helping you anymore. Let’s stay in wolf form for a day. I want to stay near Zenna. I don’t want you to be with her,’ Black shouted in his mind.
’You and I are the same. I’ll fix this. Don’t worry,’ Radulf told him and followed Zenna’s scent.
