The Li Family’s elder paused and frowned. This boy was far too composed; it didn’t seem like he was bluffing.

The men from the Wang and Li families hesitated, their expressions doubtful.

"Is he going to deal with Lin Xuan personally?"

"Hmph, this kid is dead for sure."

As the crowd sneered, the members of the Lin Family grew tense, wanting to intervene.

But in the next instant, they froze. They watched as Sun Hao walked up to Lin Xuan, bowed respectfully, and said, "Young Master Lin, please forgive us. My father is being foolish. I will make him stop at once and have him personally apologize to you. I hope you won’t take offense."

After speaking, Sun Hao’s eyes were filled with profound respect and awe.

"Shut up!" Sun Hao roared, whirling around to face his father.

Clan Leader Sun was taken aback.

Beside them, Sun Tian also spoke urgently, "Father, stop talking! Are you trying to get us all killed? Lin Xuan is not someone you can afford to offend. With a single word, he could have our entire Sun Family wiped from existence!"

Clan Leader Sun was dumbfounded. This boy could wipe them out with a single word? What a joke. The Sun Family was a great family, and he himself was a Grandmaster and a second-rank Alchemy Master. Even the City Lord wouldn’t dare to move against them. What right did this boy possibly have?

The other members of the Sun Family didn’t believe it either.

"Tian, what’s wrong with you? Have you lost your mind?" Clan Leader Sun asked, overcome with worry.

Sun Tian replied, "Father, the information I gave you was wrong. Lin Xuan is not a Heaven-Forsaken."

Beside him, Sun Hao declared, "Young Master Lin is this year’s Rookie King and number one on the Celestial Ranking. He is a peerless genius."
