"Cedric, I found Eleanor’s bracelet in the parking lot," Nathaira said as she entered his study with Oliver.

Cedric was leaning his head back as he continued to wait to get an update from his subordinates. Hearing Nathaira’s voice and words, he frowned. Eleanor didn’t wear a bracelet today.

"But she didn’t wear a bracelet today," he said with a frown.

"But this has her name on it," Nathaira said with a frown. Even Oliver was curious and worried about Eleanor now.

"Was it Jessica?" Nathaira doubted.

"She is not. She became a nanny now. Not long ago she started working as a PR manager for an artist," Cedric said.

Nathaira wanted to ask how he know about her, but she knew it was useless. He might have had his men keep an eye on her.

She handed the bracelet to Cedric to check. Taking the bracelet, Cedric saw it all the sides. He doesn’t know about this one. Indeed it has Eleanor’s name. But he never saw her wearing it.

"I guess Myna may know about this," Oliver said.

"It looks old. If she doesn’t know. Only Jessica knows about it. They both were the only ones who were with her for a long time," Oliver added more.

Cedric nodded. He went with Oliver to Myna’s apartment.

Myna calmed down after taking a shower. She must not be angry at anyone till she found out Eleanor was safe and sound. Only then she can start asking questions. She cannot be angry or impulsive now. She has to be calm and collected.

Changing into a comfortable top and jeans, she decided to go to Emerson’s mansion. When she was about to go out, someone rang the bell.

She wondered who might be the one ringing the bell. She thought it might be Tiffany or Nathaira, who came for her. Opening the door, with an expressionless face, she found Oliver, Nathaira, and Cedric at the door.

"What?" she asked angrily. Just the sight of Oliver was making her angry. Even though Myna was angry and irritated and was trying to be calm, the sight of her brother was making her mad. She tried to sound calm but her voice came like a harsh scolding.

"Can we come in?" Cedric asked in his rough yet tired voice. Hearing his voice, she nodded and let them in. They settled on the couch with Myna in front of them. Crossing her hands and legs, she looked at them questioningly. Nathaira went to the kitchen and brought some water for the men and herself.

"I found Eleanor’s bracelet in the parking lot. I wanted to know if you anything about it or not. Because she didn’t wear a bracelet today. And she never owned this one," Cedric said as he took out the bracelet and placed it infront of her.

Myna took the bracelet into her hands and observed it for a second.

"This is a bracelet given by Eleanor to me and Jessica. I have mine with me. This belongs to Jessica. See there is a J carved in it," Myna said showing the letter J to Cedric.

"But there is no way she can do this kidnap," Cedric said with a confused expression.

"We don’t know," Myna said.

"What do you mean?" Nathaira said.

"She slept with five men at a time. She married Jacob just to win over Eleanor.

"But everything backfired on her. Now Eleanor is married to Cedric, who is better than Jacob. She even started her brand and is pregnant. While Jessica’s baby is dead. Who knows if she is jealous or blames Eleanor for her baby’s death. We don’t know. She was calm all these days, she is dangerous when she is calm," Myna said.

"You have a point," Nathaira nodded.

"And it also had a chance that she is not involved in this," Cedric said firmly.

"How can you be so sure? She is your wife yet you are supporting some other woman!" Myna said angrily.

She couldn’t get why this man was supporting that bitch.

Doesn’t he know how she tormented Eleanor’s life?

Yet he is supporting some other woman.

Is he trying to cheat on Eleanor again?

Possible! This man is not reliable! He tormented Eleanor in many ways. Bu poor her always stays with him and supports him.

"Cedric, if you want to cheat on Eleanor, find a better woman not someone like Jessica!" Myna spat.

"Shut your mouth!" Cedric yelled making her flinch at his voice. As seconds passed frustration and anger were getting out of his control. If it was his old self, he would have choked Myna to her death. But he controlled those urges.

How could she think like that about him?

Cedric never wanted any other woman other than Eleanor. He loved her with all his heart but he failed to express it a few times. Yet he was trying his best to make it up. Why does nobody see his effort?

He was trying to change himself to become a better yet worthy person for his wife and his unborn child!

Yet nobody gives a damn to it! And again... they accuse him of the things which he doesn’t do!

"Do you even know what the hell you are saying, Myna? I was treated like my sister! Yet you are accusing me!?!

"Do you want to know why I am supporting Jessica?" he asked with a yell. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Just then Valene entered her apartment. He was there with a bouquet to apologize to her and makeup with her. But only to be greeted with his angry friend yelling at Myna.

"Cedric! Shut up! Don’t you raise your voice on my girl!" Valene yelled as he wrapped his arms around Myna and buried her head in his chest.

"Do you know what she said? She said I am cheating on Eleanor with Jessica! Just because I supported her!" Cedric said feeling frustrated.

"Whatever may be the reason, don’t yell at her! Or any other woman! Next time, I see you yelling at a woman, I will punch you without any feelings!" Valene said. He could feel Myna’s trembling body in his embrace.

"Now scram! You can prove your innocence later but protect Eleanor now!" Valene said as he threw Cedric and others out.
