Cedric gulped the lump and shock into his stomach and looked at his wife.

"What happened?" Cedric asked.

"Do you know Myna’s foster brother is Oliver! And she or he didn’t tell me. Isn’t this cheating?" she said with a pout.

Cedric was surprised at that fact. When he looked at him, he felt his eyes were familiar to someone familiar. Whom? Then he looked at Eleanor and her shiny Emerald eyes.

They both have green eyes.

Do they belong somehow?

"You have the same eyes as Eleanor. I won’t be surprised if you both come out as related," Cedric said jokingly.

"You got to be kidding, Ric," Nathaira said as she rolled her eyes at him.

Even Eleanor laughed at him. "There are many people with Green eyes, My dear Husband," she said.

But they didn’t notice how Oliver’s eyes flickered for a split second. But he covered it in a second.

"Okay, I will make it up to my sister, and everyone after this engagement," Oliver said.

"To Whom you are going to compensate? And what are you going to compensate? First did you bring my engagement gift?!" Valene rained him with questions.

"Dear Fiance, Why are you begging for gifts?" Myna asked as she twisted his ear with her iconic smile. And he knew she would give that smile to him when she plans something for him.

"No no, I just want to know if he got you some gifts instead of words. All I earn and beg is for you, my love," he said with a pleading expression. But Myna didn’t let him go.

"Babe, you can punish me inside our bedroom, but now save some face for me please," he pleads.

"Fine, only for today," she says as she lets his ear go.

"Aria, you are really lucky to have a daughter-in-law who is a doctor," a woman swooned at Aria.

Aria just smiled at them. She knew if she says something now, they would drag on that point for days. All she have to do was sit silent and smile at everything. When she was fed up, she would get and say she have to meet other guests.

"I heard she even know each and every heir of all the five groups," Another Chirped.

"Yeah, Aiden Zora thinks highly of her. He treats her like his own," another woman chirped.

"From what I heard, she was in love with Martin. Then after he met with accident, she no longer held hope and clung to Valene," A plump woman said as she neatened her ’creased’ skirt.

"Oh," some people showed their displeasure at Myna immediately.

"Who doesn’t have crush on someone else before they met their mister. Right? I married Valene’s father even I loved someone during my college. I thought I would marry him, but see in the end I married Valene’s father. Myna only got crush, and also she is a best friend to Eleanor. Eleanor helped her when she needed, and she valued her friendship for that. From what I heard, when they were on the verge of bankruptcy Myna helped them a lot. At that time, it’s just a fleeting thought of Aiden. Nothing serious. And you guys make a hill out of a mole," Aria said by stating facts and also defending her daughter-in-law.

Someone believed her, while someone just nodded. No matter what you say, not everyone believes. Even though some people doesn’t believe they just chose to ignore it. But some others try to dig it more. And other kind of people, they just don’t care. And others... they believe. There were different types of people. But the person who believes in others have peace and the one who doesn’t believe won’t have peace. It’s choice, and we can’t force them to change their choice. All we can do was either accept it or deny it. Whether we accept it or not... it really doesn’t matter. When coming to the mindset of people, it’s unpredictable.

"Aiyah, look there, the couple already started playing with each other," a woman said as she giggled.

"Oh my, she already started dominating him," Another said.

"He must have pissed her or did something. Aiyah, this kid is a headache to me. He finally got a woman in his life, instead of cherishing her, he is pissing her of," she said dramatically.

"You know... one day, when she came to meet me, she volunteered to cook. My son said he would help her, but she denied it outrightly. He sat near the kitchen slab and messed with her. While cleaning his mess, she cooked. You know... i was watching them from far. She asked him to carry the dishes to the dining table. Like an obedient boy he nodded. But guess what he did in the middle," Aria said.

"What did he do?" Miss. Winston asked.

"He dropped the dishes just because they were hot! She and I have to cook again," Aria said speechlessly.

"That day, if not for her presence I would have spanked him with feather duster," Aria added.

"Now, i am really surprised how he made Myna fall for him." Miss. Winston said.

"God took a pity on me," Aria said dramatically.

"That makes me curious on what he did now, that got his ear twisted on the day of his engagement," Miss. Winston said feeling curiosity at her peaks.

"Haha, even I am curious. But I will have to go now. Myna’s family has come already. I have to greet them," Aria said and got up.

Aria walked near her son.

"What did he do, Myna?" she asked curiously. Despite what others said, she would only believe in what she saw. So, she ignored their taunts, inciting words, and deceitful nature.

We will be the kind of person, we choose. And these small things shows what we are.

"Mom, this is my adopted brother Oliver Finn Hallard." Myna introduced.

"You didn’t tell me he is your brother still!" Valene accused.

"Valene, maintain some image please. I have some image. And now... you are ruining it." Myna said as she rolled her eyes at him.

"And you didn’t give me chance to tell he was my brother! You are busy i begging gifts from him!" Myna said.

"Mom, do you know from the time, he met us, he was shamelessly begging that he wants money and gifts. He says he is poor. When I chided him he is saying that this was only day where he could free money. He is making you and me so embarrassed!" Myna said.

"Wait, why didn’t you tell us Oliver is your brother all these days?" Aria asked with disappointment.

"Aunt, blame me for that. I played a prank on her. And I removed my lenses and showed her half an hour ago only. Even she doesn’t know, that I am her brother till now," he explained.

"Oh, that explains," Aria said with a smile.

"Didn’t you say your father will come?" Aria asked.

"He should come but..." Before Myna could say something, she heard a familiar voice.

"My Starling," a voice called.

"Dad!" Myna exclaimed when she turned her head and saw the man.

Oliver clenched his fist at his sight. While Cedric was shocked for a second but soon it was replaced with anger and then calmness. He narrowed his gaze at Oliver, and gave a disappointed look.
