Tales Of The World Devouring Serpent-Chapter 625: The Shocked Humans (part 2)
“This is fake, it must be fake!”
“How can there be such a thing? I don’t believe it, I don’t believe it!”
“Aliens really exist and they are so huge!”
After everyone came back to their senses, they all talked in a low voice as they watched the picture on the computer screen with hot eyes.
More time passed and the pixels of that picture have been refreshed for the tenth time. By now, half of the creature’s head was visible.
It’s the head of an extremely huge snake.
The thing that appeared is an extremely large serpent. This creature is the source of abnormal electromagnetic waves.
“Damn it, it’s really an alien life? How should we communicate with such a monster?”
The old chief was incomparably troubled, how should he communicate with this alien creature? This is simply an impossible task. In fact, it would be weird for such a creature to understand their terminology.
However, they have to complete this task!
“Immediately send a signal to the other party! We must at least try to communicate with it.”
The old chief hesitated for a moment, then immediately gave this instruction. The electromagnetic signals they sent were particularly stable and with a relatively long interval. They also carry peaceful intentions. All of this was done to not irritate the alien creature.
Fang Yun was slowly flying towards the earth. At this time, he sensed the electromagnetic signals transmitted from the earth.
He knew that the earth’s people were trying to communicate with him, but he had no intentions of communicating with them for now.
By this time, he was already very close to the earth. In fact, with his eyesight, he could see everything that happened on the earth.
“It looks like not much time has passed?”
After seeing the scene on the earth, this idea popped into Fang Yun’s mind. From his point of view, the earth hadn’t changed much from his last time in it.
Of course, it’s not that there hadn’t been any change, but this change isn’t too great, let alone the earth-shaking change that should have occurred after hundreds of years.
In other words, how much time has passed on the earth since his reincarnation? 10 years? 20 years? Or more?
Of course, there’s another possibility. That is, hundreds of years have passed, but the technological advancements have stagnated, making little to no change at all. However, the latter possibility is improbable.
“These communication signals are getting annoying.”
Fang Yun received a lot of electromagnetic signals. These electromagnetic signals have been used to try to communicate with him, but he doesn’t intend to reply at all.
Although Fang Yun has some feelings for the earth, that doesn’t mean that he has feelings for all its inhabitants. He doesn’t have the slightest desire to communicate with them. All he wants is to know the time and see if his relatives are still alive.
After reaching a location not far from the earth, Fang Yun immediately stopped advancing, but carefully watched everything on the earth.
As he was scanning the situation on the earth, the staff of the US Space Agency was going crazy. They found out that the monster has ignored all of their communication signals.
It either isn’t an intelligent creature capable of communication or doesn’t have the intention to communicate with them.
“What to do? What to do?”
The old chief was a little flustered this time. This super serpent is already pretty close to the earth. If it gets closer or even descends on the earth, the consequences will be catastrophic.
The entire planet is likely to get destroyed.
“Should we really try to get rid of this monster in space?”
This idea popped in the head of the old man but then he shook his head fiercely.
He felt that this wasn’t a valid option, the power and capabilities of this serpent are unknown, but just from its hundreds of kilometers size alone, it can probably destroy the planet’s surface.
Moreover, they don’t have any effective weapons in space. They have never thought that such a ridiculous thing would happen.
In case this giant serpent gets angry and goes on a rampage on earth, few living creatures are likely to survive.
“We can only continue trying to communicate with it!!”
The old chief couldn’t persuade himself to give up, his heart was filled with panic. The only thing he could do to alleviate his panic is to keep trying to communicate with the alien creature.
Fang Yun perceived more communication signals surging towards him, all of which were messy and disorganized, conveying messages like “Hello”, “Who are you?”, “Greetings”, and “We desire to have a peaceful conversation with you”.
Fang Yun blocked all of these messages and started scanning the area where he previously resided, scanning the buildings, the environment, and the people.
The environment of his previous city has become very dilapidated, and even many of the people are no longer as educated as they were back then.
“2067 AD???”
Fang Yun almost didn’t jump up after determining the time, because it was 2027 when he left the earth. That is to say, it has been exactly 40 years.
“Forty years, forty years, forty years… I’m finally back home… My home…”
Fang Yun’s mind was messy. His purpose has always been very simple. He wanted to go back home and see his relatives. During various stages of his journey, he pondered on this goal and even felt that it was meaningless.
Hundreds of years have passed after all. Deep within his heart, he knew that he would probably see a new and totally unrecognizable world after going back.
However, he did not contrary to the hundreds of years that he lived, only forty years have passed on the earth. Forty years can indeed change many things, but his relatives are likely to be still alive.
Even if his parents and grandparents aren’t there, his siblings are likely still alive.
“Gulp!”
Fang Yun was a little nervous. He began to search the earth more carefully. The people on the earth didn’t know at this moment, a terrifying mental power was scanning the entire earth, running through every single human being’s body.
“Hahaha, found them, I found them!!!”
After ten minutes of work, Fang Yun’s eyes suddenly lit up. He found the person he was looking for. At this moment, his gaze was directly locked to a certain position of the earth.
He narrowed his eyes, looking at a hospital in a prefecture-class city in China.
His gaze penetrated the walls of a big hospital, falling on a particular ward.
In this ward, an old woman was lying on the bed, and beside her, there was a middle-aged woman taking care of her.
Fang Yun looked at these two people with teary eyes. He felt the blood in his body stagnating.
At this time, he wanted to roar up to the sky, but he didn’t do so. Instead, he watched them quietly for a while, until the sky started to darken over that area, before transforming into a light beam and flying toward them.
