Talentless Extra Of The Legendary Hero Academy-Chapter 158: Flying ships
Chapter 158: Flying ships
"Not to be skeptical, Severin, but I really don’t see how the Isolde Dusk is able to train us. Are they not just a prison camp?" Ethan said, looking at Severin doubtfully.
Julius nodded as well. He frowned behind his glasses as he stared at Severin thoughtfully. Severin had sent the application just the night before, and Miret was there so fast. Combined with Darius Faulkner’s insistence on detaining them, he was forming a picture in his mind.
"Why don’t you let Instructor Ardent continue with his type of training? We’re already used to it, and he knows how to push us," Serena said.
Instructor Ardent yawned again. "I really need to get some sleep. But don’t worry, the Isolde Dusk will train you more than you expect and want. You might come to miss me though, but it won’t be for the reason you expect."
Severin hid a smile. He looked at his team, at every single one of them. He had invested too much in them to just leave to Darius Faulkner. "Why don’t you just trust me? Do you know that to advance at the rate that you all want, we need not only training but to live at the very edge of danger?
"Do you know what name was given to our Talent Ability in the past? Hell’s Gate. Our Talent Ability craves danger. Near-death experiences that will force us to grow and advance. And that is one thing that I can promise you in Isolde Dusk."
His team shared a look, and at the end, they nodded. What else could they do? They trusted Severin Reignhart with their own lives. And they too wanted to change. They saw the change in Severin when he came back, later when he wasn’t putting on a show of being weak.
Miret snorted and then he shook his head. "You are now a guest of Isolde Dusk. You will be taken as such. Come, let’s go. I’ve spent more time than I expected here."

They went out after they left the House to Ardent’s care.
And outside, they saw what made the booming sound and caused such a loud uproar earlier.
It was a flying ship.
It reminded Severin of one of those sports cars in his past lives, but like twenty times bigger and shaped more like a beetle with sleek glass that was etched with runes.
"What do you think? One of the benefits of having such a long life is that I am able to invest in very long-term investments. And then I get to spend it like this," Miret said with a shine in his eyes.
Severin raised his brows. ’..right..this guy is just like those rich dudes back on Earth that like to collect expensive cars..’
"This is a new model. And there’s even a new feature that was made, but it could only be used once. I’m really looking forward to the future of flying ships," Miret said with a proud smile.
Severin smiled a little. The future of flying ships. In the past, the world had reached the level where there were spaceships powered by magic, and they had ruled planets and brought ’human civilization’ to native aliens.
But then the world was destroyed, and a lot of regression hit the world. The system was compromised, and lots of data were destroyed.
The world is now just recovering.
Miret led them to his ship.
Inside, the ship was built as if it was inside a house, full carpet and warm chairs with low light. Every scream of luxury. And even the nobles among the team were looking around with their eyes wide open.
It was as if they were transported back to the days they went to fancy balls and parties.
And those that were not nobles, including Severin, watched with their mouths slightly open. Everything in the flying ship was made to enhance beauty and art.
Severin had expected it because it was something that was explained in the book, and yet as he saw it, he felt the awe and sheer wealth that went into it.
Billions of gold?
It wouldn’t be too much for someone like Miret.
A gleam entered Severin’s eyes as he watched Miret. ’...it just so happens that I need money...have I seen my new source...?..’
Miret watched them with a satisfied look on his face. He sighed. "This is what I want. Not a lot of people can appreciate beauty as you guys. I like the look on your faces."
Severin cleared his throat and wiped the greedy look away from his face with a slight smile. "Thank you." freeweɓnøvel~com
They sat down while Miret explained to them. "Don’t worry about your safety in the ship. There are runes that will keep you perfectly safe with no problem."
"There are runes here?" Derrick asked, speaking for the first time in a while.
Miret smiled even bigger. "Ah! See, the light that lit up this ship on the inside are runes. They are cleverly made in such a way that they emit different steady colored lights!"
Derrick’s eyes shone. "I would like a ship like this in the future. It’s beautiful."
Miret coughed, and if he were real flesh and blood, Severin suspected he might have blushed. But then again, there was plain sincere truth in Derrick’s voice.
Miret cleared his throat. "Well. If you work hard enough, you’ll be able to afford a flying ship. Nothing like this, but you’ll get something."
Derrick scowled.
The ship rumbled to life, and the light brightened a bit.
It was a loud noise that shook the ground outside, but those inside felt only a bit of a humming sound as the flying ship slowly rose into the air, blowing dust everywhere.
Then it took off upward into the sky and shot off.
Below, the ground dust didn’t touch a single spot, and in that spot stood a man with a single eye while the other was covered.
Darius Faulkner looked at the flying ship. "Miret and Severin. We must meet again."
