Talentless Extra Of The Legendary Hero Academy-Chapter 139: You!
Chapter 139: You!
Ethan stopped laughing. "Wait, are you really serious about this? You think you’re strong to be involved, but we’re weak to be involved in what you are doing."
Severin shrugged. "I’m already involved. Besides, the vacation is here. Why waste it on something that couldn’t be changed? We will use it for some serious training instead."
They were all staring at him. If they should rank the fighters and fighting powers on the last, then Severin might come just below Julius.
Derrick shook his head. He tapped the side of his head. "Maybe the Sector Delta did something to him."
Serena sighed. "You still haven’t told us anything about your trip to Sector Delta."
He nodded. "I’ll tell you some things...."
And he did. He told them a fabrication of what happened. Anansi was the main boss and promised to let him go if he was told a powerful story.
He told them a simple, straightforward story that didn’t take long.
They blinked at him in surprise.
"Wait, do you’re telling me it’s not even up to a day that you entered Sector Delta and you’re back? But here it’s almost three months. Wow," Julius said.
Celia’s face was shining. "It’s said that those who go and return from Sector Delta gain more power somehow. They become more powerful. Is that why you say we’re not strong enough?"
Severin shrugged. "Maybe. Maybe not. It’s not as straightforward as you might think."
Then he yawned.
Ardent narrowed his eyes as he looked at him. He was thinking. ’...this guy has been dodging all the questions and only tells us what he had in mind... just what is he hiding.. him and Darrius Faulkner?... now I’m curious.. I’ll have to beat it out of him later...’
Severin nodded. "I am tired, I need to rest. I’ll write down the place for the training I said earlier. It’s going to test us and make us stronger."
Julius opened his mouth as if he wanted to speak, but then he shook his head.
Ethan shrugged as he stood. "Don’t think we won’t ask more questions tomorrow. And I want to know just what type of powers that you have gained. We can feel the hold of your power becoming stronger on us.
"I already feel as if I can draw out my powers in ways I’ve never did before."
Severin nodded gently. "Okay."
They grumbled and they began to leave. "Wait Celia, I have something to tell you."
Severin stood and whispered to her ears. Those with inhuman powers even struggled to hear what he said. Celia looked surprised, but she nodded.
Severin sighed as he watched them leave the hall.
He turned to the remaining person. Instructor Ardent.
They didn’t say anything for a time before the instructor snorted. "Brat. You better be careful and don’t die before you pay me."
Severin looked at him. "I will leave a letter for you as well."
Mad Instructor Ardent shook his head as he left the room.
Severin sighed.
He leaned back on his seat. "Right. I have to sleep, I need rest if I want to complete my mission tonight."

The night was dark.
But light surrounded House Chains building.
Not far from the House where the lights didn’t quite touch, a number of people hid in the trees. Their eyes on the House.
They were fitted in dark clothes that covered their entire bodies, even their faces, only leaving two slits behind. They watched the House intently.
"So... we are just to stand here and watch the building?" There was a slight displeasure in the voice.
"Idiot. We are to stand guard here and carry out recon duty on the House! And report immediately if we sense anything," another one answered in a carefree manner.
"Shouldn’t we just enter the place and, you know, deal with it ourselves? It’s a small House. We can just interrogate instead of waiting here."
"Fool. Why don’t you just go and knock on the door instead."
"Enough!"
A voice that was clear and cold cut through all of it. The voice was calm and authoritative. "We have our duties and we’ll stand by it. Anyone that’s not satisfied can speak out their minds now and we’ll see what we can do!"
Nobody said anything after that.
The cold voice continued. "Strange. When their leader wasn’t here, they all slept in the House, but now that he’s here, they all went out to sleep in their dorms."
Just then something happened.
Boom! Bam! BOoOM!
A series of explosions suddenly shook the air and the night lit up with flames.
"What the fuck!"
"Attack! We are under attack!"
The figures became disorganized immediately, their attention shifted from the House end towards the side where a chain of explosions was happening.
That moment their attention was split, a shadow detached from the House, crept on the ground and disappeared as it sped away.
The leader snapped again in a whisper. "Shut up! This is not an attack on us. The scouts would have sent word!"
As he turned back to the House, a strange feeling entered the leader’s mind. "Quick, tell the higher-ups of what happened here!"

Far from his House, the shadow continued to run. It swept on the ground like a real shadow attached to something and darted with incredible speed.
Soon, it reached the library and went straight into it.
At that time in the night, the library was dark and silent, and the shadow blended in perfectly. Seemingly to know its way, the shadow continued to move.
Under doors and over furniture until it stopped at a hallway.
On the top of the wall was written, "The Head Librarian."
The shadow continued until it reached a large door and then the shadow swelled and turned into a real human. His hand raised to open the door when suddenly, bright rays of light fell on him.
"What are you doing here so late at night?" The voice was sharp and cold, filled with suspicion.
A set of footsteps came closer. "A student? What are you doing here? Know that you will be heavily punished...!!"
The voice suddenly stopped because the shadow had turned away.
The shadow wore a mask but lifted it.
The assistant of the Head Librarian flinched, his eyes going wide with shock. "You!" freeweɓnøvel~com
