Sweet Wife So Charming: CEO: Hold Back Your Heart-Chapter 376: Tears
"Oh, look at my memory." Saying this, she patted her head and waved at the waiter to bring a bottle of red wine.
Watching the rich red wine pour into the glass, Ruby enticingly said, "This wine, you definitely haven’t tasted it. I got it with great difficulty from a friend, so don’t embarrass me like you did to the producer before."
Saying this, she playfully winked her right eye at Moira Young, looking somewhat cute.
Throughout the journey, Moira didn’t give Ruby the chance to buy anything for her. She picked up the glass, swirled it twice, brought it to her nose to smell it, and praised, "Good wine."
"See, I knew you’d like it."
Seeing Moira still hadn’t drunk it, she curved a smile and took a sip herself.
Moira barely lifted her eyelids, just as the waiter came to serve the dishes. She placed the glass to her lips and drank a mouthful.
Ruby watched coldly, counting in her mind to three, then saw Moira shake her head, feeling dizzy, and leaned back on the chair.
"Hey, Are
you
ok?"
Ruby quickly stood up, smiling as she hugged Moira, explaining to the slightly panicked waiter.
"Yes, she’s
ok."
Seeing Ruby nod repeatedly, the waiter turned his head and couldn’t believe that Moira was down after just one glass. He shrugged, hearing Ruby say someone would help, he turned and walked away, glancing back at them as he left.
Ruby pinched Moira’s chin, chuckling while calling her name twice more, seeing no sign of waking up, she patted her face softly and said, "Moira Young, your luck has run out."
She took out her phone and sent a message to Mr. Alden.
The departing waiter had been observing, seeing a man who looked about the same age as the two women approaching, he furrowed his brows.
"Can
I
help
you?"
Ruby looked slightly impatient, exchanged a glance with Mr. Alden, and got up to dismiss the waiter.
"How did you knock her out?" Mr. Alden moved Moira’s face, watching as Ruby hadn’t made any significant action, he was somewhat curious.
Ruby let out a proud laugh, leaned close to Mr. Alden’s ear: "Simple, prepare the wine in advance, making the woman think it’s just from the restaurant, so smoothly that..."
She chuckled twice, feeling impatient, Mr. Alden wrapped his arm around the woman he had coveted for so long, and leaned in to almost touch Moira’s face, sniffing her.
"Mr. Alden, what’s the rush? We’re still outside here." Ruby laughed mockingly, disdainfully looking at the man who lost his cool at the sight of Moira.
"Heh-heh." He chuckled twice, Mr. Alden signaled to Ruby, and the two of them carried Moira to the hotel upstairs.
As soon as they laid her on the bed, Mr. Alden eagerly went to raise Moira’s dress.
"Hey, Mr. Alden, isn’t this bad? Your fifty million hasn’t been paid yet." Saying this, Ruby stopped him, pressing down on his hand, her eyes twinkling, she added, "Mr. Alden, surely you’re not planning to renege?"
Mr. Alden looked at Ruby blocking him, gave a snort of a laugh, "Don’t worry, I won’t. I’ll transfer it to you now, satisfied?"
Saying this, he took out his phone from his suit, made a call.
"See, you watched me make the call, the money will arrive soon. Keep an eye on your phone."
"Okay, once I get the money. It’s just business; fair trade, right, Mr. Alden?"
Seeing the displeasure on the man’s face, Ruby flirtatiously approached, tapping his chest: "Don’t be in such a hurry, you’ll enjoy it soon, hmm~."
Recalling the previous promise, Mr. Alden’s eyes reddened with lust, his mouth dry, he wrapped Ruby in his arms, reaching out to touch Moira’s slender, fair hand lying beside. He was so pleased he almost laughed aloud.
"Ding."
Seeing the confirmation message of the fifty million transferred light up on the screen, Ruby broke free from Mr. Alden’s arms, "Now, this woman is yours, Mr. Alden, do whatever you wish."
On the other hand, after getting the message that Moira and Ruby were at the restaurant, Aiden Webb replied, and when he didn’t receive a further message for a long time, he hurried with his team, while Joe hid, ignoring Aiden’s cold look, but followed.
The waiter, hearing that someone was looking for two girls, one in a long dress, immediately thought of Moira he had just served, and went straight to Aiden Webb.
"Thank
you." He said coldly, with a heavy voice, and led his team upstairs to the hotel.
The young waiter, still uneasy seeing the two leaving with Moira, quietly followed, which allowed Aiden and his team to directly burst in without wasting time.
"Take one more step, and try it."
Hearing the deal, Moira finally opened her eyes, enduring the sticky feeling from Mr. Alden’s touch and the nauseating odor on her body, she quickly ran to the window, picked up a small stool, and threw it at Mr. Alden.
Mr. Alden was shocked and angry, not caring why Moira was awake, he moved like a madman: "Fine, you’re awake, saves trouble later."
Saying this, he lunged at Moira.
With a bang, Aiden Webb kicked Mr. Alden in the waist, making him collapse on the floor, screaming.
Exchanging a glance with his team, he walked straight to Moira, taking off his jacket to cover her, embraced her shoulders, and awkwardly said softly, "Don’t be afraid, I’m here."
Moira smiled, holding the trembling hand of the person beside her, softly shaking her head, "I know."
"Moira, are you alright?"
As Joe entered and saw Mr. Alden kneeling on the floor with bruises, and Ruby guarded by two people to prevent escape, he was extremely scared.
"Boohoo, it’s my fault, I should have followed."
Moira raised a hand to ruffle Joe’s head, seeing Aiden Webb still holding her tightly, she found it amusing, here she was without much harm, yet these two were more panicked.
Thinking this, her eyes welled with tears, she lightly patted Joe, blinking hard: "Oh my, you’re so annoying, making me want to cry too."
Saying this, she hugged Joe, who was crying with guilt, "How come you’re more of a child than I am? Joe, you did great; the organization is satisfied."
Moira spoke with affirmation and reassurance in her tone, giving Joe’s cheek a pinch.
Joe broke into a smile amidst tears.
Aiden watched as Moira, trying hard to stay calm, continued to comfort others. His heart felt heavy.
Some people truly don’t deserve to live comfortably.
With shadows in his eyes, he glanced at Ruby and Mr. Alden, patted Moira’s shoulder, he went to Mr. Alden, stomped on his chest, full of menace: "Seems Mr. Alden doesn’t use his brain."
