Chapter 350: Chapter 350: Worry

"I’m sorry, President Grant, I messed up." Leo Whitman explained to Adrian Grant somewhat aggrievedly, afraid he would blame him.

"Hmm, I know." Adrian Grant had no reaction after hearing Leo Whitman’s words, only nodded slightly.

"You’re not blaming me?" Leo Whitman was astonished.

Adrian Grant raised an eyebrow handsomely, "Since she wants to ditch you, she naturally has a hundred ways to do so. You’ve never been clever, how could you outplay her?"

Seeing that Adrian Grant wasn’t blaming him, Leo Whitman finally breathed a sigh of relief. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

Adrian Grant hung up the phone, but his eyes were full of worry. He murmured softly, "That girl, I hope nothing’s wrong. Forget it, better inform Julian first."

As for Moira Young.

After shaking off Leo Whitman, she quickly got into a taxi.

Sitting in the car, she felt all sorts of emotions, her pretty face filled with deep sorrow. She couldn’t understand how her relationship with Julian Sinclair had developed into what it was now.

The driver, seeing her silent, politely asked, "Miss, where are you going?"

Moira Young looked up and replied coldly, "To Lu... to AE Entertainment Company."

"Alright, please fasten your seatbelt." The driver started the car and headed towards the destination.

Moira Young didn’t want to return to the Sinclair residence; she didn’t want to see the place filled with beautiful memories of her and him. Since she’d decided to let go, she wanted to block any possible chances.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Miller, as soon as she got the message from Julian Sinclair, began preparations for the ’welcome’ ceremony.

From tidying up the house to buying groceries and cooking, she even changed the flowers in the hallway leading to Moira Young’s room one by one.

Mrs. Miller was eagerly expecting Moira Young’s return. She insisted on seeing for herself how Moira was doing to set her mind at ease.

Unfortunately, when the phone rang, her hopes turned into nothing.

"Hello, this is the Sinclair residence." Mrs. Miller dried her hands hastily and hurried to the living room to pick up the phone,

"Mrs. Miller, it’s me, Moira." Moira Young feigned cheerfulness, "Mrs. Miller, there’s some stuff going on at the company lately, so I won’t be coming back to stay. I’ll come visit you when I have time. Please take good care of yourself."

If there was anything about the Sinclair residence Moira Young couldn’t let go of, besides Julian Sinclair, it was Mrs. Miller.

Even though Moira Young had decided to leave, she didn’t want to hurt Mrs. Miller, who loved her like a child.

Mrs. Miller replied with disappointment, "Oh, Miss, you’ve just recovered, and now you’re going back to work? But you don’t lack money, why don’t you rest for now..."

"Mrs. Miller, I’ll take care of myself," Moira Young interrupted her, "but work is something I can’t avoid... Someone’s calling for me here, Mrs. Miller, let’s talk another time. I have to go now."

Moira Young hung up the phone hurriedly, not wanting Mrs. Miller to notice anything.

And on the other side, Mrs. Miller looked at the phone with worry, puzzled.

At AE Entertainment Company, Joe was holding an umbrella, observing every car parked at the entrance. The moment Moira Young appeared, she quickly ran forward to shield Moira from the sun.

"Moira, did you forget anything else?" Joe was extremely concerned about Moira Young’s situation, "Do you feel unwell anywhere?"

Hearing her concern, Moira Young felt a bit of warmth in her heart. To prevent them from noticing anything unusual, Moira maintained a calm demeanor and answered as usual:

"I’m fine, my health has completely recovered. I didn’t forget any luggage. Where’s Lee?"

Moira Young looked around and asked.

Joe’s attention was quickly diverted as she explained Lee’s whereabouts, "Lee is accompanying Wendy to a casting session today, so he arranged for me to come. He specifically told me to take good care of you..."

Listening to Joe’s chatter lifted Moira Young’s spirits a bit. Perhaps only this way could she feel not alone.

"... Moira, are you listening to me?" Joe had been talking a lot without receiving a response, so she asked suspiciously.

"Yes," Moira answered firmly, leaving no room for doubt, "Joe, when Lee is available, ask him to contact me and prepare to get me some work."

The previous TV drama...

Now she thought about how Julian Sinclair accompanied her to film that TV series, afraid she’d start dwelling on memories once she joined the crew, so she could only put it aside.

Moira Young felt she could only stop overthinking by keeping busy. Although she spoke so decisively in front of Julian Sinclair back then, she couldn’t fool herself.

"Great! Moira, you’re finally going back to work! I said, you’re so beautiful and talented, as long as you’re willing, you’ll definitely outshine everyone else. Show them that you’re the best, Moira."

Joe had always been frustrated about Moira Young turning down job offers, especially after being ridiculed by other uninformed artists’ assistants. She harbored resentment.

However, she knew Moira Young’s health wasn’t the best, something unavoidable. Now that Moira was finally making a comeback, how could she not be happy?

Moira Young didn’t pay much attention to the shift in Joe’s tone, only softly reminding her, "I don’t want to take on too much work recently, let’s see how things go."

"Alright..."

Moira Young was quite satisfied with the small apartment the company provided. Though not large, it was clean and tidy, with complete amenities, making it her best option at the moment when she had nowhere else to go.

After sending Joe away, she quietly stayed alone.

Perhaps it was too quiet, but Julian Sinclair’s image kept flashing in Moira’s mind. His gentleness, kindness, thoughtfulness...

It wasn’t long before Moira stood up, took a deep breath, then changed clothes and left the apartment.

She needed to go out for a walk, to distract herself. She couldn’t keep thinking like this.

She walked around the area without encountering a single soul, the serenity was somewhat eerie.

Moira found this satisfactory, implying AE had done a thorough job in terms of security.

However, not long after she left the security office’s door, a shadow slipped into the security booth.

Heath Sterling grinned as he looked at the security guard and asked, "Uncle, was that girl who just passed by Moira Young?"

"Moira Young? You mean the one who was involved in negative news before?" Although the security guard was in his forties, Moira Young’s gossip had been so rampant; even without wanting to follow, he would always see news notifications whenever he opened his phone, hence he knew about her.

"Yeah..." Heath Sterling sighed with a hint of helplessness, nodding.

"I’m not sure if it’s Moira Young, but there indeed is an owner with the surname Young in the community." The security guard touched his chin, deep in thought.

Heath Sterling couldn’t help but think she resembled Moira Young so closely from the back, especially since they hadn’t seen each other for a month or two since parting ways at the hospital.

Recently, he didn’t know what happened, and he couldn’t get any news about Moira Young, making him a bit worried.
