Sweet Time Only for You: The Entanglement between Mr. Lu and Miss Song-Chapter 264: I’m Sick—I’m About to Die!
Song Dabai’s voice startled Daming and Wei Zai outside, and they pushed the door open and came in.
"Kid, what are you shouting for? Keep it down!" Daming was tall and burly, with tattoos on his body, and a fierce look on his face, appearing somewhat intimidating.
Song Dabai was scared too, but he knew clearly that if he got frightened, he would have even less chance to escape.
So, he mustered the courage to say, "I, my stomach hurts... I’m in pain... Can you, can you take me to the hospital?"
"Do you think I’m stupid? Take you to the hospital so you can escape, right?" Daming cursed angrily.
"But, but I’m really in pain, ugh—" As Song Dabai spoke, he began to fake vomiting.
Daming looked at the vomit on the ground, spat disdainfully, "Damn it! Why are you pretending with me?"
Song Dabai hurriedly ran to Wei Zai and said, "Uncle, help me, I’m sick, really very sick, and if I don’t go to the hospital, I might really die. If I die, you won’t be able to get money from my daddy and mommy."
At the end, he quietly approached Wei Zai’s ear and said, "Uncle, if I die, your five million is gone too."
Finally, he clutched his belly, pretending to sob, "Oh my, my stomach, it hurts, it hurts so much, boo hoo hoo... I’m definitely going to die, boo hoo hoo..."
Wei Zai shivered and quickly stopped Daming.
"Daming, this kid doesn’t seem to be lying. He just told me he’s very sick, and that little girl was actually bought by his parents to cure him. Look at him, he seems really seriously ill."
Daming frowned and didn’t curse anymore.
But he was much more cautious than Wei Zai, and he didn’t quite believe Song Dabai’s words.
He stared at Song Dabai and asked, "Kid, are you really sick?"
"Hmm." Song Dabai nodded.
"Then tell me, what illness do you have?"
"I..." Song Dabai’s bright, grape-like eyes rolled swiftly and he cunningly replied, "Leukemia!"
Daming, seeing Song Dabai’s fair complexion, began to somewhat believe him.
Song Dabai sobbed again and said, "My mommy said that little girl was my last hope, but you just sold Luolu, and now I have no lifeline left..."
He spoke so sorrowfully, paused, sobbed a couple of times, and then continued with a big cry and tears:
"Now, you’re giving me this garbage food and not treating me. I’m sure I won’t even get to see my daddy and mommy before I croak, boo hoo hoo..."
As he spoke, Song Dabai began to wail, and his expression was truly something.
Wei Zai stared wide-eyed at Song Dabai, shocked by his acting skills, suddenly feeling a chill down his spine.
The kid’s acting was just too good; could it be that he had also been fooled? He was suspicious, but then he heard Daming change his mind.
"Taking you to the hospital is fine, but we must talk first. You better not act up; if you dare to run away, don’t even think about treatment, and you’ll never see your daddy and mommy again in this lifetime! Do you hear me?!"
"I’m not deaf, of course I hear you."
Song Dabai pursed his lips and looked up again, "But, uncle, can you take me to have a good meal? The food you bought is garbage."
The little guy said, even pouting disdainfully.
