Some non-elemental powers needed special conditions to use or take toll on the user, In their way they are just cheap powers given by expensive price.

And that’s why Beastmaster considered the supreme amongst the awakened as there is no condition or drawback of it that is too harsh.

The only condition it has was that beasts of Beastmaster should always be one level before or if the beast does not have strong bond with a partner, the beast is more than likely to lash out and kill the user.

Hence Beastmaster profession is also the windowmaker, this single awakened field kill more women then all other branches combine and yet women still go for it because entry is also not that restrictive.

Just have blood contract beast and well you are Beastmaster.

But of course controlling the beast or woman dies as many already did because it’s easy entry, impossible mastery or rather survival. It’s like holding the loose pin grenade that keeps everyone afraid but this is also borrowed time because sooner or later either beast successfully bounded or will die.

Thankfully he put the Nobel name forward and escaped without needing to see Xiao Bai.

So it seems Helen will avoid Alia doing something stupid at bare minimum, hiding stuff from her daughter to protect her man, Which is kinda sweet, if ignoring the kidnapping and rapping part of it.
