Chapter 349: Leisure of Dragon (2)

“Okay! It’s my turn. Run away, little ones!”

A heavy voice rang through the forest. It was so loud and scary that it shocked the students. They all ran toward the cabin nearby.

“T-that’s not a human! That’s not a human!”

One of the students shouted but no one knew the real answer. All they wanted to do was run away in fear.

“R-run! We have to get out!”

Grett shouted toward his friend Phil.

“W-what is that thing?! What the hell is that?!”

“We have to get away!”

“Stop! Bastards! We have to fight him!”

“Fight?! Didn’t you see that? He didn’t die from all those arrows!”

“Idiot! Just run away!”

Students began running again.

“Honne? Should we get away from here?”

“Yeah.”

Honne, Birrero, and Dominique who were half-blooded Ainos and Magnos got out of the forest faster than the other students.

“Let’s erase our tracks and move now.”

“Good.”

“Will it work?” Honne asked, but the two other students had different answers.

“We can’t fight that monster.”

All of them nodded.

“That one isn’t a Gartz either.”

“Did you see that power?”

“It’s better we just get out of this place.”

“It will take us two days.”

It took them 4 days to get here, but the three of them only required two days to get out.

“I hope the others will work as bait until we get out.”

“Yeah. But they should do.”

After they began to move out while erasing tracks, Roman arrived where they stood with no more injuries over his body.

“They split up? Good. This is interesting. Haha.”

Roman smirked. His eyes then turned into yellow, more like that of a reptile. He then glanced around, looking for a trace.

“Three split up from rest of them. Well, I got their scent though.”

Roman then headed toward the larger group of students. Soon, Roman was able to catch up to those who were running toward the cabin. Roman grinned as he saw the student running far beyond the group.

“Aaargh!”

The students didn’t know what hit them until their arms were yanked apart from them.

“Aargh… why…”

“When you hunt, you should know that you can also be hunted too.”

Roman cackled. He then continued on to move onto the rest of the students.

“Did you hear that?”

“What?”

“Buy me a drink first. I’ll tell you.”

“WHAT! I’ll read the newspaper then.”

“OH? So you learned how to read now?”

Brad seemed proud of his friend’s remark.

“Yes! I know how to read now! Oh well, I’ll buy one this time for my sake.”

“Haha! Good!”

Brad’s friend Brock also laughed.

“Here is your Honey Beer.”

“Whoa. Thanks, Joanne.”

They were served beer and fried potatoes. As they drank up, they began talking about the recent event.

“Did you hear about the Beginning of Gorgon?”

“What? Beginning of… huh? What’s that?”

Brad continued, “It’s some secret organization made by college students.”

“Organization? What for?”

“It’s to find the weakness of others and help each other.”

“Huh? That’s weird. What about that?”

Brock seemed uninterested so Brad continued.

“That’s not the point! The point is, to make the weakness, they hunted a living human and swore an oath to keep it a secret!”

Brock became shocked. It seemed people around the pub also overheard it and seemed interested in what Brad was saying.

“W-what are you talking about?”

Brock seemed unconvinced.

“You know in the past, how nobles used to hunt people?”

People around them became bitter. They all knew about the past evil doings of the nobles.

“But this time, these kids were just commoners.”

“W-what?! Commoners? How can they do such…”
