Supremely Talented Tyrant-Chapter 1859 - 2060: Fine, I Agree to Your Terms!!!
Capítulo 1859: Chapter 2060: Fine, I Agree to Your Terms!!!
He originally thought that since he now had leverage over Liang Xiaohan, her attitude towards him would be better. However, to his surprise, this woman still acted like he was beneath her. This wouldn’t do, he refused to believe he couldn’t bring this woman to heel.
As he pondered, a wicked smile appeared on his face. These days, you have to have a backup plan for everything. He knew that if he relied only on spoken words, Liang Xiaohan would probably deny everything, since words alone are not evidence. Luckily, he had prepared in advance; last night, while listening to the commotion, he instinctively opened the audio recorder, capturing bits of the conversation.
His gaze towards Liang Xiaohan grew increasingly malicious. You couldn’t even make a simple bowl of porridge without adding so much salt; are you trying to salt me to death? Didn’t you know I like sweet porridge? Well then, let’s see who outsmarts whom in the end.
He slowly took out his phone, looking earnestly at Liang Xiaohan. Initially, she had a defiant expression, as if daring him to do his worst. But when Hao Jian quietly opened the recording, her expression changed dramatically to one of panic. Before Hao Jian could even play the recordings, she swiftly removed the porridge bowl in front of him.
“State your terms. As long as I can do it, I will. Just delete these recordings first!” Liang Xiaohan’s tone became much calmer.
Hao Jian instinctively crossed his legs, asserting his “home court” advantage, and smiled, saying: “First, make me a bowl of sweet porridge and fry up ten dumplings. We can discuss other matters later.”
Liang Xiaohan glared at Hao Jian furiously, “You…”
But Hao Jian just laughed and said, “The recordings are with me, go make them now. It’s not the time for you to negotiate; listening to me is the sensible thing to do.”
With that, Liang Xiaohan glared at him once more. Knowing that Hao Jian had the upper hand and more words would be futile, she turned and headed to the kitchen after taking the salty porridge away.
She never imagined she’d let a wolf in the door, someone so cold-hearted and ungrateful. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be in this predicament. As she thought this, she had already entered the kitchen to prepare the requested food. The kitchen door slammed shut in anger, followed by the loud clatter of kitchenware. She vented her anger towards Hao Jian on the kitchen utensils.
Hao Jian watched Liang Xiaohan’s actions and listened to the satisfying sounds. Joy spread across his face. He thought to himself, “Who would’ve thought you’d find yourself in this position today, falling into my hands. Haha, the tables have turned, let’s see what happens next.”
In truth, he was just toying with Liang Xiaohan for fun. Seeing her upset or angry made him feel good and quite happy. This was his greatest amusement.
It wasn’t long before the kitchen door opened, and Liang Xiaohan came out with a bowl of sweet porridge and a plate of dumplings. Smelling the aroma, Hao Jian’s appetite was awakened. He never expected that Liang Xiaohan, someone who seemed like a pampered young lady, would have such great culinary skills.
Without thinking much, Liang Xiaohan placed the sweet porridge and the dumplings in front of him, glaring at him, saying: “Delete the recording, and you can eat!”
Hao Jian didn’t say anything; having grasped her weakness, he wasn’t about to let her bluster. He reached out to drink the porridge and eat the dumplings, but Liang Xiaohan blocked him with her hand. Silently, he unlocked his phone, revealing the recording interface, prompting Liang Xiaohan to withdraw her hand.
At this moment, Hao Jian smiled, locked his phone, and placed it on the table. Looking smug, he picked up the spoon, scooped up some sweet porridge, and put it in his mouth. After tasting the porridge, he paused, not speaking, his face showed a complex expression as if he was contemplating something deeply. Then, he picked up the chopsticks, took a dumpling, careful with the hotness as he chewed slowly, eventually finishing one.
At this point, with a complex expression, he placed the chopsticks back on the plate, and sighed several times, seemingly deep in thought.
Looking at Liang Xiaohan, he expressed a bit of disappointment, saying, “The sweet porridge tastes quite good, sweet but not overwhelming, with a silky sensation in the mouth, which is commendable. But the flavor of the dumplings, unless you don’t scrutinize, is somewhat unevenly fried; some overcooked, others underdone. So, despite the sweet porridge being excellent, I still have to give a bad review overall. However, given your young age and such impressive cooking skills, you’ll get a generously marked eighty.”
After this review, Hao Jian pretended to nod despondently, acting like he was a food critic and Liang Xiaohan was a chef.
Liang Xiaohan, upon hearing this, rolled her eyes at him. The whole spiel about connections was nonsense; it was just eating food. Her gaze was filled with disdain.
“Eat then, so many mouths to feed.” Xiaohai said disdainfully, “If you don’t eat, I’ll pack it all up, and also, delete the photos immediately!”
Hao Jian waved his hand, ignoring her. Now it’s her home turf, where she can’t say much. He immediately picked up the spoon and chopsticks and started drinking the sweet porridge and eating the fried dumplings. He was already starving; earlier, he was just pretending and bluffing. Actually, Xiaohai’s cooking was quite good and suited his taste.
Xiaohai was too lazy to chat with him, watching him devour the sweet porridge and dumplings. As soon as he put down the bowl and chopsticks, she immediately said, “Delete the recording.”
Hao Jian smiled, slightly raised his head to look at her, then lowered it again, “I can delete the recording, but let’s talk terms first.”
As soon as the word “terms” came up, Xiaohai knew Hao Jian had ulterior motives, but now he held the cards, and she had no choice. If she knew his phone password, it would be easier; she could grab it and delete it. But not knowing Hao Jian’s phone’s password meant she wouldn’t touch it, even if it was right there on the table.
What good would it do? She believed Hao Jian, with his cunning nature, was surely prepared for such things. Even if she threw away his phone, he must have backups elsewhere. Furthermore, she’d seen Hao Jian’s skills before; she had enough self-awareness to know it would be impossible to snatch the phone from him if he didn’t want to give it up.
Now, she could only let Hao Jian set the conditions and comply to possibly get the recording deleted and be at peace. Then she’ll let him see the consequences of threatening her.
Thinking this, she said in an even tone, “Speak, don’t dawdle.”
Hao Jian smiled, surprised by how impatient this woman was. The more impatient she got, the more he wanted to lead her in circles. His goal was simple; it had been a few days, and Xiaohai’s affairs were about finished, so now was his turn.
Smiling, he said, “It’s nothing really, just a small favor. If you agree now, I’ll delete the recording.”
Xiaohai’s expression was calm, seemingly unperturbed, but inside she was already a storm. She knew once Hao Jian spoke that it wouldn’t be simple; indeed, it wasn’t as she expected.
“Fine! Tell me, I agree!” Xiaohai responded briskly. She knew there was only one path in front of her; if she didn’t agree with Hao Jian, the recording wouldn’t be deleted and she’d still face his threats. She knew Hao Jian’s nature and didn’t want to be threatened repeatedly.
Hao Jian didn’t expect Xiaohai to be so straightforward, so he decided not to bluff and laid everything out clearly.
“It’s not complicated. Just about your cousin and me. You set up a meeting with your dad. I want to talk to him; you don’t need to know the specifics. Just meet with your dad and tell him I need to see him.”
At this moment, Xiaohai’s face showed slight confusion. Of course, she knew about Hao Jian and her cousin, wasn’t it because her uncle refused to let them be together? She knew the reasons, having been present at the time. Otherwise, knowing Hao Jian’s lustful nature, she wouldn’t allow her cousin to continue seeing him.
Just why Hao Jian wanted to meet her dad was unclear, could he resolve the matter? Having been with Uncle Liang Youzhen for so long, she knew his nature well; once he decided something, he rarely changed his mind. Could Hao Jian really turn things around from this angle?
Xiaohai believed it was impossible; Hao Jian was simply daydreaming.
Feeling this way, even though she didn’t agree with her cousin’s continued involvement with Hao Jian, she knew accepting Hao Jian’s request wouldn’t change anything.
So she straightforwardly told Hao Jian, “Okay, I agree.”
Hearing this, Hao Jian’s face lit up with a smile.
