Before the bright flash of light that illuminated the space in front of the portal faded, Idan appeared in Arabel’s place, behind his Avatar.

"Hmm," the woman chuckled, noticing two young men in the place of the girl and the guy. She looked around for Arabel, but no matter how much she looked and used her abilities, she couldn’t find her.

Arslan, handcuffed and under intense pressure from the woman, lay watching the scene with concern for his older sister.

Due to the significant changes in Idan’s appearance, including his red hair and red eyes, Arslan did not recognize him as Irene’s brother and the one who was with his sister when she was transported to another world. However, Arslan still found him slightly familiar, but could not relate to Idan.

After a bright flash that briefly blinded him, Arslan was surprised to see a guy he already knew, Ethan Goldwing, in his sister’s place.

Arslan could not understand how this stranger appeared instead of his sister and where his own sister disappeared to. The other awakened ones were also confused.

Milena, unlike Arslan, already assumed that the handsome guy with red hair and eyes was Irene’s younger brother, Idan Fein. Although she had never seen him in person, her feminine instincts told her that this was him.

Upon hearing this, Idan’s avatar suddenly lowered his head and began rummaging through his pants in the area between his legs.

"What are you doing?" asked Idan, looking at his avatar.

"I’m checking something," he replied. Idan, of course, knew what his avatar was doing, because their thoughts were synchronized.

"Phew! It’s in place," the avatar breathed out with relief, and the real Idan’s lips twitched.

"As you can see, she’s not here," Idan replied, turning his gaze back to the woman.

"Tch," the woman clicked her tongue, not understanding where the girl she was interested in had disappeared to and how this guy had appeared instead.

Suddenly, she felt the pressure that had eased after lowering her rank begin to build up. Realizing that she had little time left before she was thrown out of this world back into her own, she decided to capture this guy and read his memories to find out where her target had disappeared to.

With these thoughts, she unleashed a powerful mental attack on Idan and his avatar.

"Ah!" both Idan and his avatar exclaimed at the same time, clutching their heads. However, to the woman’s surprise, they did not fall and did not lose consciousness, as she expected.

"Damn it, not again!" cursed Idan, glaring at the woman. "If you use that damn mental attack on me again, I give you my word that if I don’t die today, as soon as I get stronger, I will find your world and destroy your damn race!"

"Ho! Are you threatening me?" the woman asked with a smile, finding this guy’s threat amusing.

"Take it as you wish!" replied Idan, trying to contain his emotions. Only then did he realize that he had rashly uttered words that were not worth voicing.

"Ha ha ha," the woman burst out laughing, looking at Idan. "You’re funny."

"Show me what you’re capable of, boy," with these words, part of the woman’s hair separated and turned into ten long black spears, which rushed with great speed towards Idan and his avatar — five spears each.

Idan, upon seeing the ten spears, instantly transformed into his Alpha Fire form. Behind his back, like his avatar, fiery wings appeared, consisting of three different energies.

However, unlike his avatar, Idan’s was dominated by the element of fire rather than the energy of madness. Only part of his red hair and only his one eye took on the color of the Energy of Madness. Without Ned, the real Idan could not fully integrate the Energy of Madness and squeeze all the power out of it.

Also, thanks to the experience and understanding he gained with Ned’s help, Idan was able to improve his understanding of the element of light and incorporate it into his transformation.

He still couldn’t figure out how Ned had managed to accomplish something that seemed completely impossible to him. Idan was well aware from the information he received after signing the contract with Ned that in order to use the Avatar ability, Ned must be in a state of sleep, not awake, as he is now.

Pushing aside the unnecessary thoughts that were starting to appear in his mind again, Idan focused on the attack of this woman.

The avatar also moved at the same time as his real body, his wings transformed into ten fiery blades, while his real body created only six.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

The dark spears and the fiery blades collided with each other with incredible speed. To Idan’s surprise, all of his five fire spears were instantly destroyed, as well as the ten blades of his avatar that he was so proud of.

Realizing that he had been defeated in this battle, Idan instantly dispelled his avatar. Ned, having regained control of his body, already knew what he needed to do. He transformed into a majestic woman with long blonde hair and huge shining wings on her back. Instantly appearing in front of Idan, she blocked the path of the black spears, exposing her wings like a shield.

The dark spears rained down on the shield from the wings of the Light Valkyrie, but they did not penetrate and dispersed.

"How interesting!" the woman exclaimed, unable to contain her amazement. The other awakened ones were also startled, unable to take their eyes off Ned, who had taken the form of Lucinda, the Light Valkyrie.

"Who is she to you? The girl whose place you took?"

Idan looked at her and saw only curiosity in her eyes. He sighed and then said with determination:

"She’s my partner, my girlfriend, my fiancee, and my future wife!" declared Idan with fervor.

"Ahahahaha!" the woman laughed, finding Idan’s words very funny. "Are the being of light and the being of darkness a couple?"

But when she saw Idan’s serious look, she stopped laughing, although the smile still played on her face.

"What’s your name, boy?" she asked.

"Ethan, Ethan Goldwing," Idan replied with a slight delay.

"Heh! I’m asking for your real name." Idan immediately realized that she had figured out his disguise, and wasn’t too surprised by it. Milisa and the other Diamond Rank holders in Limbo could also see through their disguises.

"Idan, Idan Fein!" said Idan, revealing his real name. All the awakened ones were amazed to hear him. The one who was most surprised was Arslan, who stared at Idan with wide eyes.

"Idan, right?" the woman asked, memorizing his name.

"Idan, tell her that if she wants to fully master the power she has gained, let her come to my world and find me." With these words, the woman looked intently at Idan and turned to the Awakened Ones.

Her hair began to move, capturing the Awakened Ones one by one.

"Stop!" shouted Idan, intending to intervene.

"Heh, try to stop me!" the woman said without stopping. But to Idan’s surprise, she grabbed everyone except Arslan.

"To give you and her a guarantee that I won’t do anything against her if she comes to me, I won’t take this guy," she said, then, turning to Idan, she added: "This guy is related to her, isn’t he?"

Idan didn’t say a word, but anyone who saw Arslan and Arabel’s appearance and compared them would understand that they were related to each other.

Seeing the look on Idan’s face, the woman was convinced that she was right. She just smiled, ignoring Arslan.

"As for the others, come to my world and save them if you can. I’m only following orders to bring back all the survivors and those awakened ones who were caught," she said.

"I’ve already done you a favor by leaving this guy," she continued, drawing all the awakened ones to her, despair and pleading for help on their faces. Somehow, she managed to silence them without anyone saying a word.

"To give you courage, I’ll tell you that as soon as I return them, my task will be completed, and what happens after that will no longer be my problem," the woman said with a sly smile, starting to enter the portal.

"And yes," she suddenly stopped before entering the portal, as if remembering something important, turned to Idan and added with a smile:

"Erza! My name is Erza, Erza Twilight." After saying her name, she stepped into the portal, taking with her all the surviving awakened ones except Arslan.
