Chapter 1966 The Law of Absolute Enchantment.

A 3-meter-tall being, with a muscular, powerful body covered in dark red skin and faintly glowing veins, and deep crimson eyes, ended the meeting held within his meeting hall and was returning to his room.

He was Varos Bloodrend.

The Progenitor of a Middle-Level World named Morblood.

As the strongest being in Morblood, he lived in a castle that had Morblood's strongest beings protecting it. The castle had underground tunnels that connected it to the entire world, allowing Varos to move from one place to another without being seen.

These tunnels weren't just for him; his spy network used the same tunnels, strengthening his information network to the point where his enemies were crushed before they could even form a workable plan.

Catching Varos's spies was next to impossible. If one was caught, they would simply use the secret tunnels and disappear, replaced by another.

Because of this, Varos knew almost everything there was to know about Morblood: the different factions of Morblood, the hidden factions, their goals, and their leaders. He even knew more about his own subordinates than their family members did.

It could be said that almost nothing in Morblood could surpass him.

His reign was absolute. Stronger than any of the previous Progenitors, so much so that Morblood hadn't been at war for the last 10,000 years simply because enemies could never reach a level where they would be a threat to Varos.

They were killed before that, and because Varos's information network was so strong, there were no deserters or runaways amongst the enemies. All of them were killed without exception, rooting them out from their very core.

Even now, in the meeting, Varos had just given the order to decimate another group of rebels that had started to grow in influence. Knowing they would be rooted out just like the others, Varos was about to return to his room and rest.

But then,

"Lord Varos."

The moment he walked in, his eyes fell on the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. The woman had long purple hair and purple eyes. She was sitting on his chair with one leg over the other, and when her seductive eyes fell on him, a light smile appeared on her face. She greeted him with a voice so… beautiful that he had a hard time believing it was real.

"Who are you?"

Varos questioned as he stood still.

It was a surprising sight for anyone who knew this man. After all, Varos was a man who wanted to have everything under his control. For a woman he didn't know to be in his room—in a normal situation—he would have already deployed his Domain and gotten rid of her.

But…

For some reason, this time, he stood still, not doing anything.

He wanted to chat instead.

But then,

"This place is so pretty~

This dark red material used for the walls, floor, and ceiling, and these glowing crimson veins, make it look like a living entity."

Another adorable voice, filled with innocence, was heard.

Varos turned around, surprised to see another woman standing near the window, appreciating everything around her like a curious child who was impressed by what she was seeing. This one had auburn hair and big blue eyes.

The woman, sensing that Varos was looking at her, turned toward him and smiled brightly.

"Hello~

My name is Skyla, and she is my sister Eisheth."

Skyla spoke, pointing at Eisheth, who was still sitting on the chair, as if judging Varos. It was a look that would have gotten a Sovereign like her killed without any questions asked, but again, Varos didn't feel offended.

More than offended, he was… curious.

Yes, he was curious. That was all it was.

And how could he not be? These women came out of nowhere. One of them was a Human, and the other was of a race he didn't know about. What he did know for sure, however, was that these women weren't from Morblood.

They came from another world.

They were Outworlders.

And yet… Morblood's Will didn't alert him of their arrival.

This had never happened before, and Varos wanted to get to the bottom of it.

Now, could this have been done after capturing these women? Yes, it could, but Varos simply didn't feel the need to do it. He was strong enough to deal with these women even if they did anything.

Yes, he had no reason to be wary. He was still in control.

"What are you two doing here?"

So he questioned.

"We came here to meet you."

Skyla answered with an excited smile on her face. At those words, Varos momentarily gulped as he stole glances at Eisheth, who hadn't moved ever since she arrived and was only staring at him.

"Why me?"

"Obviously because you are the strongest in the world. No matter where we go, we only hear about you and the things you did, so much that we had to meet you.

Updated from freewёbnoνel.com.

Especially Sister Eisheth; she was very interested."

Skyla smiled, once again pointing at her sister.

Varos turned toward Eisheth and looked into the woman's eyes.

"What is she interested in?"

He questioned.

At those words, Eisheth finally moved. It wasn't something grand; she only adjusted her posture and placed her other leg on top. Varos waited patiently, and Eisheth began,

"I do not want any needless bloodshed. Surrender."

"What…?"

Varos narrowed his eyes dangerously, but even when the woman disrespected him like this, his mind remained serene.

After all, the two of them were still not dangerous.

And…

Since they are Outworlders, "surrender" in their language could mean something else too.

Yes, it was indeed one possibility. Rather than coming to conclusions and acting recklessly, he should wait.

And that is what Varos did. He waited for Eisheth to continue.

The woman smiled at that—a smile that made Varos flinch a little. He wanted to see it… more often.

Snap

The woman then snapped, and suddenly, her shadow trembled. Three beings materialized around her, and just like the woman, Morblood's Will didn't tell him about their presence either—something that made Varos frown even more.

Now he was even more curious.

Just what was happening?

Who were these people?

Why wasn't Morblood's Will warning him about them? Was it some sort of sign?

Varos began to wonder.

Again, if anyone who knew Varos saw this scene, they wouldn't be able to wrap their heads around it. In some way, sparing the two women still made sense. They were Sovereigns; they couldn't possibly do anything to Lord Varos. But…

Now the room had three Transcendents. It was no longer "safe."

And yes, while Varos was never strong enough to take on three Transcendents at the same time, if he activated his Domain first, considering how strong his Law was, there might be a chance at victory.

At the very least, it was much better than being at their mercy.

Someone like Varos should know that better than anyone, and yet…

He still stood still, not doing anything but… chatting.

Even now, when three Transcendents stood right in front of him, he was looking at Eisheth, waiting for her to explain things.

It made absolutely no sense.

Well…

At least not to beings who were judging the situation when they weren't in Varos's room.

After all, the entire room was filled with the Aura of Serenity that Skyla had been releasing constantly.

Skyla's Law of Serene Bond, which had now turned into the Law of Absolute Serenity, was at work here.

And no, Skyla's Law wasn't just strengthened.

After Nux severed her connection with the Main Universe, the adorable maid had turned into a different level of monster altogether.

Before, Skyla's Law had a big weakness. Whenever she activated her Law, Primordial-Level Beings were able to sense her Law Flow, knowing that she activated some sort of power.

If it was activated during a conversation and these beings felt a strange sense of calmness the instant they saw the Law Flow, it was easy to understand what sort of Law Skyla had. And once they knew, resisting it was only a matter of will.

Now, however, that had changed.

Now, Skyla's Law Flow couldn't be seen. The Aura of Serenity, which had now gotten stronger because of Nux strengthening her Law, couldn't be sensed by enemies.

Their minds just felt… relaxed.

A state every being craved in one way or another, and their bodies accepted it naturally. Even if the being was a Transcendent far stronger than Skyla, her powers still worked on them.

What's worse?

Skyla wasn't alone.

After all, the only thing she did was calm Varos, making him much more patient and welcoming than he actually was.

The rest was done by Eisheth and her Law.

The Law of Absolute Enchantment.

A Law that allowed the former Succubus Queen to have supreme control over any being through desire, beauty, and charisma. A Law that ensured no being could resist her—physically, mentally, or spiritually.

No, it wasn't straight-up seduction.

With how possessive Nux was, he would have never allowed it. It was… something more.

Right now, what Varos was feeling wasn't just desire and lust for Eisheth's body. What he was craving was the woman's presence. He was craving her attention—any form of attention, even a simple glance.

It was a Law that made her very presence irresistible.

A Law that allowed Eisheth to turn any sane man or woman into her subordinate, willingly, just so they could keep her happy and be in her presence.

The only reason Varos was still holding onto his sanity was because he was a Transcendent, who had a natural resistance to Eisheth's power.

But even then, with Eisheth and Skyla working together, the Leader of Morblood stood no chance.

It was only a matter of time before he gave in to their demands and…

Surrendered.

Without a fight.
