The Jeep was bulldozing through the road easily and quickly.

The bodyguards at the back didn't let go of the chance to kill one or two zombies every often by using their weapons and skills.

After ten minutes, they entered the city's periphery, where the military base was situated.

Zombies followed them for a while, but their speed was slow, and they stopped chasing after a minute or so whenever they bulldozed through a horde.

The military entrance had several barracks with spikes, and it was fully defended so that no zombies could go there. The horde there was spaced out and aimlessly roamed at their slow pace, but their speed would slightly increase upon discovering live targets.

"The stop is here, and here's the plan," Erix said as he looked ahead and saw several people on the watch towers in the military base. He was sure they should be observing them now that they had arrived.

Erix looked ahead at the horde and barracks as he continued, "Once we arrive at the barracks, we will get off the Jeep. After turning it into its toy form, Rin will store the Jeep in her inventory."

"But how do we go inside?" Serina asked as she looked at the large gates of the base. "We can't jump over it."

Erix grinned and said, "I will command my pet to pick you up in pairs with its talons and drop you in the military base. But…"

Erix turned around and glanced at everyone before stopping at Toshin as he said, "Once we are inside, you will support me. I am sharing a quest with you, so you will understand what I mean."

"A quest?" Lena repeated in surprise, and soon, she got a notification.

"Dungeon Call?"

"Conquering the military base?"

"What the fuck?"

The bodyguards, Toshin, Lena, and Serina, were shocked.

"We will not cause any bloodshed as long as it's possible. I don't want to kill people without any reason," Erix calmly said after he shared the quest.

"We are reaching there, guys," Rin said as she saw the barracks nearing and pressed break before steering the wheel to the extreme right!

*Chreeeeee!*

The Jeep turned sideways and continued moving briefly before stopping and throwing zombies as they flew several meters away.

"Move out!"

Everyone got off the Jeep. Toshin only had one leg, but he could stand on one leg fine in the middle of the group as everyone started aiming at incoming zombies' heads to kill them.

*Whistle!*

The Bloodwood Eagle descended upon Erix's command.

"Mr. Toshin and Mrs. Lena. You two go first," Erix said as he stood on one leg while Rin put the miniature Jeep inside her inventory and started slashing zombies with her sword.

Lena and Toshin saw the Eagle coming down while baring its talons and gulped.

"Be gentle..." Toshin muttered, looking at its dangerous claws.

*Swoop!*

The Eagle grabbed both of them with its talons. It trapped them in the deadlock space of its talons, so they were not injured.

After flying over the ground of the military base, it dropped them from ten meters height.

Lena landed successfully, but Toshin fell since he only had one leg.

Of course, they were not injured despite falling from such height since they were not normal humans anymore.

Their level and stats were high.

While the Bloodwood Eagle returned to make another delivery, the commanding general of the military base and Minister Ben were informed.

"What did you say? A working jeep?"

General Tark was startled.

"Who are they?" Ben asked.

"Sir, it's the group that left the base on their monster eagle pet. But they've returned with Toshin Dusk and his family," the officer reported.

"Toshin is here?" General Tark raised his eyebrows. 'Hmm, if Toshin and his family are here, then the group led by Ralph will return empty-handed.'

"What about the Jeep? Was it any special or a normal jeep?" Ben asked urgently. The thing he needed was a vehicle so that he could go to Pheonix City with his family.

"It was surely something special because after they got off the jeep and started fighting with the zombies, the jeep suddenly disappeared."

"Let's go and meet them. I assume the monster eagle is carrying them inside the base, right?" Ben guessed.

"Yes, sir. Before I came here to report, I saw it picking up Mr. Toshin and his wife before throwing them inside. Also, Mr. Toshin only had one leg left. Same with the guy with a mask. One of his legs was cut off from around the knee part."

Senator Ben, General Tark, Lieutenant Pollyn, and other officers arrived at the ground and saw Toshin, Lena, and two bodyguards.

*Whistle!*

They heard the Eagle's whistle and saw three bodyguards caught in its claws in the sky. Then, after arriving inside, the Eagle dropped them on the ground before returning.

Isabella also saw General Tark and others arriving before the Eagle went back.

"Erix, Rin. That general and other big wigs came outside," Isabella said after the Eagle landed beside Erix.

The ground around them was littered with dead zombies, but more were coming.

*Smash!*

Erix killed a few zombies with a metal spike that Rin cut off from the spike barrack behind them.

"Good. The first task is to regrow my leg. I want to see if anyone there got a skill that can do that," Erix said before he bent his one leg and jumped on the Eagle.

"Let's go, Serina," Rin said as she released a sword that pierced through several zombies before she and Serina jumped on the Eagle. 𝐛𝗲𝐝𝐧𝗼𝐯𝐞𝐥．𝐜𝐨𝗺

*Woosh!*

The Eagle flapped its wings and flew up.
