"Right," Rin nodded and also stood up with a smile. "It's getting stinky."

Frandal's face turned dark while Spena loudly snorted and said, "You two best be careful outside."

"One more farted," Erix pinched his nose while walking towards the exit.

"Let's hurry out," Rin quipped, imitating Erix's action and infuriating Spena as her face turned red.

She looked at Frandal and moved her lips to talk without uttering a sound.

Erix and Rin had gathered 2 million Abyss Coins total, so they went to the Red Sea Gear Emporio.

They needed a set to wear to increase their overall combat prowess and more weapons.

However, just as they entered the shop, the sky over the town darkened, and dark-colored clouds manifested.

An uproar ensued as everyone looked up, and those inside buildings came out hearing the commotion.

People were talking with excited and eager expressions while Rin and Erix curiously looked up as the clouds were transforming.

A minute later, they saw a gigantic black gate manifesting atop the cloud, and as the final touches, a sleek, dark gold skull materialized on the center of the gate.

Seeing the dark gold skull and words that manifested in giant golden letters, the uproar suddenly turned significantly low. Voices turned low, and people's expressions darkened.

"The Death Circus event! Hahaha, I was waiting for it!"

A man with long black hair and a bare upper body flew up like a shooting star but came crashing down just as quickly.

"Yeah, we haven't fought against people of our level," Erix nodded as his lips also curved into a devilish smile. "We need some intense battles, and this event seems perfect."

"Let's quickly buy our armor sets and then participate."

Erix and Rin went back into Red Sea Gear Emporio.

A peak Tier-1 armor set costs around 700k Abyss coins, so they would be set back by at least 1.5 million after buying their armor sets.

After looking for ten minutes, the duo finally chose their sets.

Rin selected a set called Thunder's Wrath, a black ranger set adorned with blue lightning patterns. It consisted of black leather armor, boots, gloves, and a cross belt.

The cross belt was to keep potions and other items for quick usage, and there was also a rope attached to it that Rin could use.
