SUPREME ARCH-MAGUS-Chapter 627: Demon Army on Move!
The vast, dimly lit chamber of the demon prince’s sanctuary…
The sanctury was a place of excess and shadowed splendor. At its heart lay an immense pool filled with dark, viscous liquid that shimmered like molten obsidian under the glow of eerie green flames from skeletal chandeliers above.
Reclining in the center of the pool, the demon prince lounged on a throne-like platform of polished bone, surrounded by the tantalizing forms of his seven wives. Each of them, demonic beauties of unearthly allure, tended to him with an almost hypnotic grace.
"My lord," purred Kaavya, the eldest wife, as she ran her sharp, clawed fingers across his crimson skin. Her serpentine tail coiled around his arm possessively. "Why trouble yourself with seven sages everytime when you can enjoy the pleasures of eternity here?"
Another wife, Zehra, leaned closer, her lips brushing his ear. "The eternal sages are fools to challenge your dominion. Let them tire themselves with their ritual. You are invincible."
The demon prince chuckled, a deep, resonant sound that echoed through the chamber. His immense frame, adorned with intricate black tattoos that seemed to writhe like living creatures, shimmered under the light. His molten gold eyes burned with a mix of arrogance and satisfaction as he drew Kaavya closer.
"Let them believe they can complete ritual in my terrain. Their hope will be their undoing." he said, his voice a low growl.
The wives giggled, their voices a mix of seduction and malice. They moved closer, their hands and tails caressing the prince’s muscled frame. But their laughter was interrupted by a faint, persistent sound.
A clamor of drums and bone horns.
Shouts and hurried footsteps echoed outside the sanctuary, breaking the tranquility of the moment.
The demon prince’s smile vanished. His molten eyes narrowed as he sat upright, the pool rippling around him. "Why these idiots disturb me now?" he growled, his voice now edged with irritation.
The doors to the chamber burst open, and a group of demon kings stumbled in, their faces pale and terror-stricken. They threw themselves to their knees, trembling before their master.
"Forgive us, great lord!" one of them cried, his voice shaking. "We have dire news—urgent news!"
The demon prince stood, water cascading from his form like liquid darkness. His towering figure loomed over the cowering kings. "Speak," he commanded, his voice cold and dangerous. "And it had better be worth your lives."
The lead demon king raised his head, his voice breaking under the weight of his fear. "A human, my lord—a mortal warrior! He guards the ritual of the seven eternal sages on Mount Meru. He is accompanied by three beasts and… a baby dragon."
A murmur swept through the wives, their playful demeanor now replaced with intrigue and faint unease.

The demon king continued, his words spilling out in desperation. "He has slain Elders Mari and Suha, both of whom were... related to you by blood. The warrior’s strength is unmatched, and his divine weapons have annihilated our forces. The ritual is nearing completion. If we do not act now—"
The demon prince’s face twisted into a mask of fury, and the room seemed to darken with his rage. He stepped forward, his immense clawed hand grabbing the lead demon king by the throat and lifting him effortlessly.
"Mari and Suha?" he hissed, his voice like a blade scraping stone. "Dead? By a mortal’s hand?"
"Yes, my lord!" the demon king gasped, clawing at the prince’s unyielding grip. "He is powerful, but… but if you act now, we can stop him before the ritual is complete!"
The prince’s golden eyes flared, and he hurled the demon king aside like a rag doll. The trembling kings didn’t dare look up as the prince turned to his wives, his voice seething with wrath.
"Sorry of wasting your feelings," he growled. "War calls."

The prince stormed out of the chamber, his wives watching silently as he departed. The demon kings scrambled to follow him, their footsteps echoing in the hall.
The prince entered his vast treasury, a cavern filled with weapons and artifacts of unimaginable power. His gaze fell upon a glowing azure skull at centre, the skull is remains of a draconic beast whose very essence pulsed with ancient malice. He reached for it, his hands reverent but firm as he lifted the skull from its pedestal.
"You shall taste blood again," he murmured to the skull, his lips curling into a wicked smile.
Outside the sanctuary, the prince’s army had gathered. Five thousand demon kings, their dark weapons gleaming under the sickly green flames, stood at attention. Lesser elders barked commands as they awakened skeletal beasts of various races. These monstrosities, their green flames flickering from hollow eye sockets, growled and snarled, eager for bloodshed.
A fleet of 300 chariots lined the sanctuary garden, their iron wheels inscribed with runes of destruction. Above, 1,000 sky riders on winged fiends prepared for aerial assault.
The demon prince emerged from the treasury, now clad in a suit of armor forged from blackened metal bones. Atop his head rested a crown shaped like the skull of a beast, its jagged horns curling outward menacingly. In his hand, he carried a fiery whip that crackled with destructive energy.
As he approached the waiting army, he raised the azure skull high. A chilling wind swept through the garden as he shattered a small skull-shaped vial in his other hand. Immediately, 133 fire ghosts, pretas, and pishachas races emerged, their ethereal forms wreathed in flames.
The prince’s voice boomed across the gathering. "Today, we reclaim what is ours. Let us spill the blood of the eternal sages. Let us show this mortal the cost of defying me. MOVE!"
The army erupted into motion, a cacophony of roars, growls, and the grinding of wheels. The prince mounted his chariot, a monstrosity pulled by seven winged donkeys, their leathery wings flapping as they filled with demonic fury.
With a sharp crack of his burning whip, the chariot surged forward, leading the horde. The ground trembled under the weight of the advancing army, and the sky darkened with the flurry of sky riders.
The demon prince’s laughter echoed across the infernal march as he shouted, "Seven eternal sages? Let’s see which eternal will die today.
