Super Template System In Marvel and Beyond-Chapter 223: Raid IV
Chapter 223 - Raid IV
The war footage switched back to the news studio. The hosts and experts appeared on screen, all wearing serious expressions.
『 The biggest reason Chris lost to Regas during the National Competition was carelessness. As he's now shown, Chris is far more powerful than what he displayed back then. 』
『 That's right. He's stronger than Regas and definitely not weak. But even that strength isn't enough to stop the advance of the golems. It's unfortunate. 』
『 In particular, the soul dolls are overwhelmingly powerful. Chris only managed to defeat four of them. The ancient weapons are on another level entirely, and they haven't even participated directly in the battle yet. Who could've created these monstrous golems? 』
『 The old golems and ancient weapons... Judging by their names, they seem to be remnants of a forgotten age. Could they be the legacy of the great magician, Braham? 』
『 Braham? That might be a stretch. Even if he did create them, who today could possibly control such advanced golems? 』
『 Maybe a disciple of Braham is involved. Well, the truth will eventually be revealed. For now, the main question is: can the Eternal Kingdom survive the golem onslaught? 』
『 The Eternal Kingdom's military is strong. That's what allowed them to maintain neutrality. But that strength is only relevant in human-versus-human conflict... Against these golems, they may be helpless. 』
『 Then there's only one thing to do—users, head to the Eternal Kingdom now! This is a golden opportunity to obtain a massive quest with huge rewards! 』
The users and guilds already understood this and had begun moving toward the Eternal Kingdom. King Wiesbaden issued wide-scale quests to resist the unprecedented invasion of the golems.

[Fight the Golems]
Difficulty: B~S
The Giant Guild bravely attempted to repel the golems that crossed the border into the Eternal Kingdom but were ultimately defeated. As a result, the southern region of the Eternal Kingdom has been destroyed, and the golem army continues its march toward the capital.
Sensing the impending crisis, King Wiesbaden has summoned all available troops from across the kingdom and is asking you to assist in the defense.
Quest Objectives:Repel the advancing golem army.
Quest Rewards:
Defeating an Old Golem: 300 gold + 100 Kingdom Contribution
Defeating a Soul Doll: 1,000 gold + 500 Kingdom Contribution
Defeating an Ancient Weapon: 3,000 gold + 1,500 Kingdom Contribution
(Note: 100 gold is equivalent to 120,000 won. Earning 3,000 contribution points grants the title of Baron. At 10,000 contribution points, the title of Viscount is awarded.)
From the users' perspective, there was every reason to take on this quest. Tens of thousands of players from across the continent gathered at the capital of the Eternal Kingdom.
"Everyone! Join my party! We need to form a team to defeat the golems!"
In Satisfy, up to 24 players could form a single party. The users quickly formed groups and headed to the battlefield. But could regular users really handle soul dolls—enemies that even the seven captains of the Giant Guild struggled against?
The defense proved futile.
Most parties could barely defeat one or two Old Golems before being wiped out by the Soul Dolls. With Anti-Magic Shields in play, magicians were powerless, and the battlefield descended into chaos.
Kuweeeeeoh!
Hundreds of users were logged out when the ancient weapons occasionally fired a massive ray of magic energy, causing the Eternal Kingdom to face a crisis. The users didn't want to continue any further, forcing the Eternal Kingdom to fight against the golems with their own soldiers.
King Wiesbaden was furious.
"What wicked person? Why? What purpose is there behind giving this trial to my kingdom?"

Back in Winston, Dave turned off the TV and looked at Euphemia.
"You have Mass Teleportation magic, right?" he asked.
Euphemia nodded. "I do."
"Then let's go. It's a chance to earn a ton of contribution and great rewards," Dave said, and she nodded again, ready.
"Are you coming too?" Dave asked Grid.
"Yeah! How could I miss this opportunity?" Grid replied enthusiastically. He quickly swapped out his common clothes for his battle gear. "Let's make it interesting—how about a bet while we're at it?" he added, looking at Dave with a grin.
But the one truly interested in the bet wasn't Grid. It was Lauel, secretly messaging Grid with his own plan.
"What's the bet?" Dave asked.
Lauel, speaking through Grid, responded, "I plan to make my own guild—and I want you to join it."
Dave raised an eyebrow.
"But I also know you're strong-willed and won't agree to be the vice-guild leader," Grid continued. "So here's the deal: we bet on who kills the most golems and earns the most contribution points."
"The winner becomes the guild leader. The loser takes the role of vice leader," Grid added, smirking. "So, how about it?"
Dave smirked back. "Alright. I accept. But let's form a contract so neither party backs out."
As Dave said this, Lauel's face twisted into a wicked grin behind the scenes.
Hehehe... The golems are immune to magic. And Dave's most powerful class is magic-based. Grid will win, and we'll get Dave to join our guild. It's all going according to plan... he thought.
Dave smiled inwardly, amused at Lauel's assumptions. What face will he make when he finds out that both of my classes are Legendary-grade?
"I'll form the guild," Dave said calmly. "Since I'm the current PvP champion, I'll take the lead. After the war, we'll compare contribution points. Whoever has the most by then becomes the official guild leader."
Grid nodded. "Alright then, that sounds fair."
He began the process.
[To establish a guild, you need to get approval from the association.]
[You can skip the approval process due to your status as a high-ranking noble.]
[Please choose the name of your guild.]
"Please, this name is permanent," Lauel pleaded. "It'll represent either you or Grid, so choose something powerful and memorable."
Dave scratched his head. "I suck at naming... What do you think, Grid?"
Grid thought for a moment before grinning. "We should call it Overgeared!"
Dave stared at him, deadpan. "You suck even more at naming than I do."
Lauel sighed in relief when Dave didn't go with it.
"Fine," Dave said after a moment's thought. "We'll call it the Black Moon Guild."
['Dave' and 29 companions have established the Black Moon Guild.]
