Chapter 670: Chapter 664 Complex Situation

“Furthermore, the power output of this energy block is also incredibly strong, in terms of power output over time, it’s absolutely immense. According to my calculations, for the same volume, the energy storage capacity is at least one hundred times that of our energy blocks, while the power output is at least 1000 times that of ours” chimed that Davis excitedly.

“With this, we can keep the hyperdrive engine operating at its highest efficiency without worrying about the energy block being unable to keep up with the supply,” Davis pounded his chest reassuringly.

Jasmine Davis nearly dropped her jaw, she of course understood what these figures meant, even the most robust energy blocks, had never measured up to this magnitude… how was this even possible? Jasmine was stunned as she looked at Finn Lewis.

“Okay, well you’ve certainly surprised me.” Jasmine was at a loss for words.

“There’s plenty more surprises to come, you’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg.” Finn flicked his hand dismissively.

Jasmine rolled her eyes, tip of the iceberg indeed – even speaking of it seemed to leave him breathless.

In actuality, Finn Lewis was also surprised by the incredible power rating of the energy block, and it appeared that high-quality products were guaranteed from zero stock – quite literally, money for quality. Now that the details had been sorted out, there was no longer a need for Finn Lewis to involve himself here, as Davis would be able to take it from here. Finn Lewis had nothing to worry about for now.

Worrying would be useless anyway, Davis was incredibly efficient, however, they still wasted about three hours installing the energy blocks onto the hyperdrive engine. Once installed, the only requirement was to sustain a cooling time for the engine, everything else was meaningless in comparison.

“All crew, all crew, return immediately to your stations. Secure all items in your vicinity. We will be entering high frequency warp in thirty minutes. Begin countdown, all crew prepare.” Followed by the announcement, Finn Lewis stayed in the bridge command cabin naturally, tied to the chair inside was a woman named Yuka Young.

Though thirty minutes seemed long for Finn Lewis, the time was indeed of the essence for the crew members scattered all about the ship, especially considering that they still had to secure several items, thus their timing was even more limited.

“We will be amending our original route but we do not possess a complete star map of the Storm Star Zone. Therefore, our opponents can still find us within a short time yet we will certainly prolong the original timing.”

“This is also the reason for which we are performing high-frequency warp. Though advanced radars on large starships can detect warp trajectories, even the most preeminent radar needs time for calculation. For precise warp trajectory, advanced radars can detect warps occurring within 2 hours’ time, while general warp direction can be traced back over tens of hours. Given the limited number of lanes here, detecting our warp direction is quite easy.” Jasmine explained the following moves to Finn Lewis.

Finn Lewis didn’t care about it much, but following Jasmine’s explanation, Luna Starfield on Finn Lewis’s wrist immediately countered: “Let me be frank, the star map on this junker of a ship is not reliable, your Highness, I possess a complete star map of the Storm Star Zone.”

As Luna Starfield’s voice resounded, Jasmine naturally heard it, but she only raised her eyebrow, not allowing an AI to provoke her.

“May I?” Finn Lewis, turning his head to have a look at Jasmine, did not mention Luna Starfield. Because, indeed, this spaceship was crappy enough.

“Alright, Mingtao, authorize Mr. Lewis’s AI to have external control over the ship’s main control system.” Jasmine conveyed her command directly.

In terms of the intelligence demonstrated by Finn Lewis’s AI, although Jasmine Davis was a bit surprised, she was not too surprised by it. After all, she was aware of how much Finn Lewis had spent in Death Star before. With such abundant funds, having a powerful AI wasn’t a big deal at all.

Jasmine Davis was also aware that Luna Starfield was telling the truth. Hence, she did not oppose it straightforwardly and directly let Luna Starfield control the ship’s AI.

“I have connected to the ship’s main control system, give me thirty seconds,” Luna Starfield spoke very simply.

Thirty seconds later, Luna Starfield’s voice was directly broadcast on the ship: “Alright, I have seized the control of the ship’s main control system, and the star map is now loading, while I am updating.”

With Luna Starfield’s words, the 3D holographic projection and star map in front of Finn Lewis and Jasmine rapidly started updating, and soon a star map marked with detailed data appeared on the screen.

“These are our current coordinates, and this is where Commander Davis’s spaceship is located. Based on my calculation, we can pass by this star route,” Luna Starfield immediately drew a strange star route on the star map.

“I have never traveled that route, are you sure we can leave it?” Jasmine frowned, there were countless dangerous stellar systems in the entire galaxy. Many ventured into them seeking death, but hardly anyone ever returned. Those strange stellar systems, let alone the Galactic Federation, would probably remain risky for civilizations with technology even superior to the Galactic Federation’s.

Whether it’s the indigenous people on the planets or the Galactic Federation, which had the whole galaxy under control, to both parties, the power of Mother Nature was always supreme!

“As per my calculations, sticking to the existing plan would mean having less than a 40% chance to shake them off and join Commander Davis’s large starship, the success rate being only 38.55%. However, if we stick to my plan, the success rate is as high as 82.4456%. That’s still based on the assumption that the opponents won’t lose any time. If they waste some time, our success rate will be even higher,” Luna Starfield commented in her straightforward style.

“Let’s follow your plan then,” Jasmine issued the decisive command.

Soon, thirty minutes elapsed. Finn Lewis experienced first-hand what is meant by high-frequency warp. The spaceship nearly directly entered the warping status a few minutes after the warp had ended. And each warp didn’t cover a large distance, which put less pressure on the hyperdrive engine. This way, the hyperdrive engine could reenter working status rapidly.

With the increase in the frequency of warp, the chasing enemies would need to calculate the distance after each warp.

In the dark universe, amidst a fleet, a small spaceship started playing a cat and mouse game. However, Finn Lewis and his companions didn’t leave the bridge.
