Super Soldier in the City-Chapter 2149 - 2212: Beast Attack
During the meal, several people suddenly saw a few figures frantically running from afar, heading directly towards them. Little Liu put down his bottle and picked up his gun, readying himself, while the other security personnel were equally cautious.
Li Yifei also stopped, frowning as he looked into the distance. The people running towards them included adults and children, still over a hundred meters away, but they were shouting repeatedly, and Li Yifei knew many foreign languages, yet didn’t understand this local dialect.
Little Liu said, "These people seem to be calling for help. I know a few words, including the phrase ’help.’"
"Indeed, they are calling for help. Look behind them," another security officer pointed to the rear. Suddenly, an old Toyota emerged from the road behind them, modified with a mounted machine gun, and packed with several Africans, both inside and on top, chasing madly. After closing some distance, the machine gun on the car started firing, and the sound of bullets echoed loudly.
"Quick, take cover!" shouted the security personnel. Little Liu hurriedly pulled Li Yifei, as everyone scattered and hid behind their cars. Li Yifei, however, bent down slightly, holding his gun. Little Liu was worried for his safety and tried to drag him over, but Li Yifei waved him off, saying, "I’m fine, you hide."
From fifty or sixty meters away, the bullets struck the people, erupting their bodies into clouds of blood. The power of these heavy machine guns was shocking; one bullet could do more than just make a blood hole—it could explode limbs or blow apart a chest. Unlike movies where someone gets hit multiple times and still crawls, reality is much harsher. Even with a Slavic Bulletproof Vest, if hit by an AK bullet, it might not pierce, but it would likely injure muscles and bones.
The attackers clearly saw Li Yifei’s group, yet they did not stop, the bullets sliding towards the two cars. With a loud bang, a bullet finally struck one of the cars, causing Little Liu and the others to back away in fright. They had initially felt safe leaning against the car, not expecting the attackers to dare shoot at them.
"Damn it, if they keep firing, we’ll strike back!" shouted one of the security guards.
The car rushed forward, the people on it shouting excitedly, and before it had completely stopped, they jumped off, holding AKs and loaded with bullets, beginning to shoot at the fleeing people. Some cried out in terror, unable to run further, turning to kneel with hands atop their heads, thinking this would save them, but the attackers continued shooting. The bullets quickly erased lines of life.
"Those are Nosa’s men; I recognize their emblem. Everyone, don’t act rashly, hold your positions!" another security guard shouted.
"Nosa, we belong to Yanhuang Group. We have an agreement; you can’t trouble us," the guard shouted in English. The passenger door suddenly opened from around ten meters away, and a man emerged wearing a beret askew, a vest, strong and muscular arms, a thick chain around his neck, resembling a gorilla. He had two guns at his waist and a cigarette in his mouth, his expression full of contempt.
He wore black leather boots, deliberately stomping his foot, raising dust. He tilted his head, surveying the cars, then grinned greedily. With a snap of his fingers, several henchmen ran over. He muttered a few words, and two of his men approached one of the cars.
Nine of them in total, seated on the battered car. Li Yifei counted them clearly before stepping back a couple of paces, gun loaded. These attackers had made the first move now, seemingly about to commit robbery. Li Yifei smirked coldly.
Little Liu and the others stood with their guns, Li Yifei could see they were nervous since they were just security guards, while the opponents dared to kill indiscriminately, with over ten people having already died under their guns, and the few who escaped likely wouldn’t live long.
"Nosa’s people, we’re Yanhuang Group; we have an agreement. Your people can’t attack us," the guard who shouted before reiterated in English. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
The man who appeared to lead the group rolled his eyes and spat contemptuously. Li Yifei confirmed from his expression that he understood but pretended not to. He scolded something in the local language, seemingly reprimanding his men, who raised their guns, pointing at the security guards.
Today, there were seven security guards out patrolling, plus Li Yifei, totaling eight. Everyone was armed, so theoretically they wouldn’t be at a disadvantage against the attackers, but the atmosphere was tense, considerably weaker, and with guns pointed at them, they immediately wanted to retreat.
The leader waved his hand disdainfully, as if telling them to hurry up and leave.
"Nosa’s people, are you planning to betray the agreement?" the guard shouted.
"You, and you all, put down your weapons, then turn around and get lost, or I’ll kill you all too." This time, the leader finally couldn’t hold back, pointing at Little Liuu and the others, saying word by word, his voice a bit hoarse, but the threat was very direct. The security guards’ faces changed dramatically; these people weren’t here to rob money but to take both the vehicles and guns.
"Damn it, are you crazy? You have a gun; we have guns too. If worst comes to worst, we go down together; I don’t believe my bullets are slower than his." Little Liuu couldn’t hold back after this insult, snapped the safety off, and aimed the muzzle at the leader.
Suddenly, a standoff occurred, but the African leader was evidently experienced; he didn’t even draw a gun, flicked away the cigarette in his hand, and walked toward the security guard who had spoken earlier. Everyone then noticed this guy was tall, possibly over two meters, not the skinny type of African, but more like a strong basketball player.
This guy had a strange smell, pushed the security guard with a large black hand, and said in a strange-toned English, "I’ll give you one more chance. Are you and your people leaving or not?"
"I said too, we and your people don’t invade each other. Not only did your people shoot at us, but now you also want to rob our vehicles and weapons. Do you think we don’t dare to shoot?" That security guard was also tough, even Li Yifei was surprised. He stood tall, not backing down.
"Good, very good." The black guy nodded slowly while looking around, finishing his act, and his hand went to his waist as if to draw a gun, while the guard raised his gun, aiming at the black guy.
Click clack, a series of gun-raising sounds, the gun barrels exuding the scent of death confronted each other, everyone’s breath became rapid. Li Yifei stood a bit further back; he saw Little Liuu’s leg shaking, but still holding the gun.
Being a security guard in a place like this wasn’t easy, Li Yifei decided to help them out. Just then, an African suddenly strode toward Li Yifei, carrying a gun, shouting at him, "General, they are hiding deserters!"
The security guards immediately turned back, seeing Li Yifei standing there, not changing his expression despite being pointed at with a gun, and not far behind him, indeed hidden was a small child, dark and curled up behind a rock, shivering.
Damn, caught off guard by these people, the security guards shivered internally and then saw an African walk up to Li Yifei, raising the gun stock to strike, shouting, "Damn you, daring to oppose us, hiding deserters!"
These black guys were unreasonable and domineering, and if they caught hold of this, wouldn’t they really lose their vehicles and guns today?
These security guards didn’t dare to shoot without permission unless the other party fired first, and if the opposite side fired first, given the current situation, it would be hard for them to survive.
Seeing the gunstock about to hit the head, Li Yifei took a step back, dodging the strike, and the person wielding the gun stumbled instead, everyone clearly didn’t see Li Yifei fight back, yet the person fell with a thud, bashing his head on the stone, his body convulsed a few times, suddenly stopped moving, leaving Li Yifei also looking baffled, with a face saying this has nothing to do with me.
The African leader’s eyes widened, he had watched the entire process, the yellow-skinned monkey indeed didn’t move, but how did his subordinate just fall, he cursed, striding toward Li Yifei, drawing a handgun from his waist, unlocking the safety, pointing distantly at Li Yifei, saying, "Daring to hide deserters, just for this, I can shoot you all, of course, including you, little monkey!"
At this, he kicked his subordinate, seeing no response, the African leader felt displeased, shouting to the other subordinates, "Carry him away, damn, told you no drugs on missions, serves you right for overdosing."
He thought his subordinate overdosed on drugs and suddenly collapsed, whereas Li Yifei knew, he had tricked him, a stone hit the heart’s acupuncture point, knocking him out. Hmm, probably broke some ribs on the chest too.
After dragging the person away, the African leader pointed his gun at Li Yifei, saying, "Go, bring that little kid over here."
Li Yifei remained unmoved, as if he didn’t understand, the African leader repeated, showing impatience, "I know you can understand me, you have a gun, bring that kid you’ve hidden over, then use your gun to shoot him, I only say this once, there won’t be a second time, hmm, you don’t have to do it, but I’ll let you know the cost of not doing it is steep."
