After teasing Huang Mengyao and Wang Qing, Xu Yun drove his sports car to his appointed meeting place with Jiang Peiyao.

The spot was a trendy little café near Guotai Mall.

A cup of coffee sat on the table in front of Jiang Peiyao. She was currently resting her chin on one hand, her head turned to watch him.

Bathed in sunlight, Xu Yun found himself, for the first time, getting a good look at Jiang Peiyao outside of her work attire.

She wore a flax-colored, short-sleeved, midi dress. Her long, slightly wavy hair was tucked behind her ears, cascading down. Paired with her delicate features, she had a reserved gentleness, like still water, exuding the air of a kind and virtuous wife.

’Although her aura isn’t quite on the same level as Su Mu’s, in terms of looks alone, she’s definitely a beauty.’

"Have you been waiting long?"

After a brief once-over, Xu Yun smiled and walked over, taking the seat across from her.

"No."

Jiang Peiyao said with a smile, "You got here so fast."

Over the phone, Wan Kui asked cheerfully, "I was wondering if you’re free now? I can come pick you up to look at some properties."

"Sure."

Xu Yun replied, "But you don’t need to pick me up, I have my own car. We can just meet at the community entrance in a bit."

After hanging up, Xu Yun smiled. "Manager Jiang, thanks for lunch. I have something else to take care of, so I’ll be on my way."
