Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts-Chapter 851: Return or... Not
"Welcome home, my lord."
"Oh! Iris, huh?" Nathan raised his eyebrows, not expecting Iris to be greeting him right at the entrance. He didn't even announce his return. "You're here?"
Iris smiled. "Yes. You are always on time. After knowing you are going to leave for five days, I know you will return right about now."
"Hehehe. You know your lord well, eh?" Flora grinned, teasing her.
"Isn't that what I'm supposed to do?" Iris tilted her head in confusion.
"It's nothing. Now that I think about it, where is your brother?" Flora glanced around.
"Aris is working hard with other kids. They're trying to learn as much as possible."
"I see. Then, should we go in?"
"Yes." Iris nodded.
Nathan remained silent the whole time, but he couldn't help but observe Iris. It did seem she progressed quite a lot judging from the ena in her body.
"She is quite good…" Selena muttered.
Nathan nodded. "Anyway, can you handle the rest for the time being?"
"Are you going somewhere?" Selena raised her eyebrows.
"Yeah." Nathan raised one finger. "There is one place I have to visit. I want to make something as well, which will probably be useful for our trip. I want to see whether it's possible or not."
Selena sighed. "You're really too busy."
"Ahahaha. Sorry."
"It's fine. I should be the one apologizing to you. Unlike you, we have a lot of time to practice." Selena shook her head helplessly.
Nathan waved his hand. "In that case, I'll be going."
Without anyone noticing, he slipped away from the group. Although it was nice to return home, he needed to do something important. He realized how inconvenient it was to travel while bringing those cores, so there was indeed one item he required for travel.
Yes, Nathan was planning to create a space ring. To do it, there was only one person he could ask. At the same time, she could also be considered the strongest spatial user in the world in the current era.
Nathan immediately headed to the teleportation and traveled directly to the Sleeping Garden base.
"Huh? It's rare for you to come here all of a sudden. Did something happen?" Bella, who was holding a cup of coffee, couldn't help but halt her step.
"Bella. Are you working on something?" Nathan looked around.
"I'm still handling the aftermath of our previous battle. This Black Cat is too heinous for their own good." Bella sighed. "How about you? You're not someone coming here for no reason."
Nathan smiled wryly. "Well, you got it right. Is the captain here? There's something I'd like to ask her. If it succeeds, everything will become convenient."
"If it's Evelyn, she should be outside, stretching her body with Rev—!" As she said those words, a loud *bam* shook the base.
"!!!" Nathan glanced to the outside.
"If you're curious, just watch it. They should be done in a minute or so. If there's nothing else, I'm going back."
"Yes." Nathan waved his hand.
Once Bella left, he made his way to the window, trying to see what was going on.
Revon and Evelyn stood on top of the lake, controlling their ena perfectly to maintain their bodies above the water.
Revon leaped forward and punched Evelyn, but Evelyn skillfully avoided it by jumping into the air. She then spun her body and dropped a kick, forcing Revon to raise both arms above his head.
Bam!
The force behind the kick was transferred directly to the water underneath them, but despite the wave, Revon managed to remain on top of the water. Revon then grabbed Evelyn's foot and threw her into the water.
When Evelyn was about to touch the water, she used one of her hands to push herself back. There was a small burst of energy when her hand made contact with water, which generated enough force to knock her back into the air. Then she spun her body and landed smoothly on the water.
Both of them then came at each other, hitting each other's fist.
The ena they put caused the water to split in all directions.
They were supposed to fall down to the water level, but Evelyn actually kicked the air and allowed herself to gain the height advantage. She then dropped another kick, which blasted Revon down.
The impact was so powerful that it completely dispersed the remaining water underneath Revon, resulting in his feet touching the ground.
"You've lost."
"Huh?" Revon looked confused for a moment before lowering his head. "Ah!"
"The rule is not to touch the ground. No one says you can touch the bottom of the lake." Evelyn shrugged.
"Captain. You are so devious. And what's wrong with that kick earlier? Did you just kick air? I mean, I know you can do it, but that one earlier… how do I put it? The activation sequence was simply too fast." Revon sighed.
"I learned it from Nathan."
"Nathan? Seriously?"
"What's wrong with Nathan? Do you think there's nothing we can learn from someone weaker than us?"
"No. Not that. It's just… Isn't he staring at us right now?" Revon pointed to the mansion.
"Yeah. I noticed him. Well, he probably has something to say to me. You can continue your training. Sorry for using your time to help me stretch my body."
"Hahahaha! Feel free to call me again." Revon laughed. "I don't want to get rusty while we're waiting for the right time to attack the Divine Hand."
Evelyn nodded and snapped her fingers as her body disappeared.
"!!!" Nathan took a step back as Evelyn teleported right next to him. "Hi, Captain."
"Do you need something from me? Or is it the group that you want?"
"Why do you ask such a question? Who knows? Maybe I'm just bored and want to hang out."
"Both of us know you are not someone like that." Evelyn shook her head helplessly. "So, tell me. Who do you want to kill? Have you trapped someone?"
Nathan smiled wryly. "Well, I do have something I'd like to ask. It's more like I want to know a bit more about the space element."
"Space Element?"
