Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts-Chapter 705 : Killing Alan
Alan gritted his teeth and extended the pole to the nearest building, albeit it was simply too far. To reach it, he had to wait for two seconds. During that time, the big bullets had almost reached him.
"Aarrgghhh." Alan groaned and hurriedly climbed the pole the moment it was attached to the building and leaped to the side.
Unfortunately for him, he was a tad too late. The bullets hit his body. Even though he used the shield to protect himself, the big bullets shattered it, hitting his right hand and left leg at the same time. Due to the size of the big bullets, it actually severed those two limbs instead of piercing them like what normal bullets would do.
"Aaahhhh!" Alan screamed in pain. The moment he fell, Nathan would definitely kill him, especially with Nathan ready to send another wave of bullets.
"You bastard." Alan formed a spear and threw it at Nathan. "You're going down with me."
In that instant, the bullets suddenly disappeared with a barrier replacing them. The spear pierced through the shield, albeit stopped before reaching Nathan.
"!!!" Alan panicked. He realized Nathan had just tricked him. He intended to create a shield from the side, and those bullets were nothing but bait.
With this, Alan would definitely fall down.
After stopping that spear, Nathan immediately switched back to attack.
Alan looked around, wondering what he could do. If he didn't do something unexpected, he would definitely die.
But he couldn't move like he used to without his arm and leg.
"Arm and leg?" Alan suddenly thought of something. Right before he fell down, a blade emerged from his cut leg. It was a blade that gradually spread like the blade of an ice skate.
"!!!" Even Nathan was surprised. 'He is using a blade to replace his foot?'
Since his foot had become a blade, he could immediately release an attack as if it were the extension of his limb.
He waved his foot and extended the blade.
"!!!" Nathan ducked, avoiding that blade. The speed and the strength behind that blade were much more overwhelming than his normal blade.
When he was about to face death, Alan actually found another way to improve.
"Hahahaha. So, this is it. You're unlucky. I'm going to kill you with this!" Alan finally smiled.
Nathan hurriedly sent forth his 'Bolt.'
Alan changed his foot into a scope and pierced through the ground before scooping it up. The bullets that hit them would end up exploding, allowing Alan to focus on fewer bullets.
After that, Alan waved his now blade-hand.
Nathan leaped back and formed a barrier to block the sword wave, albeit it only lasted for two seconds before getting sliced through.
Nathan leaped into the air to avoid the residual force, while Alan was ready to launch another attack.
Still, Nathan was one step faster. He activated his Machine Gun Version.
"Tsk." Alan clicked his tongue and ran as quickly as possible, albeit his speed had decreased due to him not being accustomed to running with a blade-foot.
Although Nathan wanted to use Alan as a way to experience his Gun Control System, he had to kill Alan as quickly as possible, avoiding the risk of him getting used to this annoying new technique as well.
Besides, Flora was also having a hard time fighting against someone stronger than Alan. He had to hurry it up.
Nathan formed two bullets and spread them around to completely surround Alan.
"!!!" Alan predicted the trajectory. Nathan must want to blast him along with everything around him. As a result, Alan couldn't go anywhere else.
Surprisingly, Alan sped up, not caring about the damage to his body anymore. If he lost a limb, he would replace it with his technique later. At the very least, he had to survive so that he could improve his technique further.
He created a shield on top of his head as the explosive bullets rained down on him.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
The area was filled with explosions. There was no way Alan could escape unscathed.

And he was right. Alan emerged from the dust cloud with both of his arms gone. However, he immediately replaced it with his blades.
Nathan hurriedly raised his hand as though he wanted to form another bullet, but the left hand extended, forcing Nathan to create a barrier instead.
The sword almost pierced through the barrier, but this was enough. As long as he stopped him, Nathan had no way of beating him in close combat.
'I win,' Alan thought.
Unfortunately for him, that was the last thing that happened. All of a sudden, bullets suddenly rained down on him, piercing his body.
"!!!" Alan widened his eyes in shock as his feet started losing their sensation. 'What?'
Alan was in utter shock. He didn't understand what happened.
So, his mind was replaying a few seconds before he got hit. It was there he noticed the small difference.
Actually, Nathan summoned two different bullets. The first one was Spectre and the second one was Ignition.
However, Nathan controlled the normal bullets so perfectly that it slowed down to convince Alan that these two were explosive bullets.
Right before the bullets hit, the normal bullets immediately curved up, avoiding those blasts.
Nathan knew that Alan would survive the blast and continue toward him. It was then the bullets curved down and hit him.
It was because he thought all those bullets had hit that he lowered his guard for a second, not noticing the incoming bullets. And due to the low power of these normal bullets, it was much harder to sense it compared to the explosive bullets or the big bullets.
"Gah." Alan spat out a mouthful of blood as he dropped to his knees. "You bastard… Keep playing tricks. You should have lost!"
"I know. Thanks to you, I have finally understood the most important thing. But…this is the end." Nathan had already summoned another bullet and sent it toward Alan.
Alan gritted his teeth, making the last attempt to kill Nathan. He extended the blade on his arm, albeit Nathan only attacked him with one hand while the other was used to form a shield.
The bullets rained down on Alan and ultimately killed him.
"Farewell."
