Strongest Necromancer System-Chapter 666: An Unexpected Visitor

"Stella! Stella, something’s happening! I can’t feel Jason’s connection anymore!"

Stella was suddenly brought back to the present as she heard Gina scream from behind, and Stella turned around and quickly raced towards Gina! Stella slid to a stop beside Jason, and she asked Gina what was going on!

"What do you mean you can’t feel the connection!? What connection!?"

"There’s a connection between the two of us! I can feel his life force through that connection, but it’s vanishing! I can’t feel him anymore! Stella, I don’t know what to do! What was that woman!?"

Gina’s face was twisted in fear as she held Jason closer! The connection that Gina was talking about was the mental connection that Jason had with each and every one of his subordinates, which allowed him to speak to his subordinates over long distances! The connection allowed Jason to know the current status of any of his subordinates, but it also allowed the subordinates to know whether Jason was safe or not. If Jason wasn’t safe, then the subordinates could come in to help Jason no matter what! But at this moment, Jason’s entire body was going through a sudden shock from Gillian’s bite, and that prevented Jason from being able to connect with any of his magical abilities! Jason’s mana was going out of control as it poured out of his body, and Jason’s mental connection with the Necromancer system was starting to weaken! Stella turned to the side, and she noticed that Azrael and Vana hadn’t moved at all since Jason was bitten!

Stella tried her best to remember what she had heard on the battlefield a long time ago! According to one of her comrades from a long time ago, the Vympir were known to release a dangerous toxin into the bloodstream of anyone that they bit.

’If you ever run into someone who had been bitten by the Vympir, the first thing you’ll notice is how quickly their body breaks down. Their mana goes out of control, and they start losing consciousness. At this stage, they’re still in the transition phase, and their soul hasn’t been lost yet. If you leave them for a bit longer, then they’ll eventually enter the Changeling phase, and that is when you can no longer do anything. After they cross this point, they’ll be no better than mindless slaves born to serve the Vympir that turned them. If you really want to help them, then before they lose their soul, you should take your sword and stab it into their heart.’

Fucking useless! Stella cursed as she remembered the stories told by one of her comrades on the battlefield, and she grit her teeth as Jason’s body began to grow cold! Stella couldn’t do it! She couldn’t even think about stabbing Jason through the heart! But no matter how much she tried to remember anything else, there was nothing that came to mind! Stella couldn’t remember any other way to save Jason’s life! Stella’s breath began to come out in harsh puffs as she hyperventilated, and she could feel darkness creeping into her vision as a panic attack came over her! This was just like what happened when Stella had failed King Richard all those years ago! Stella had been useless to help him back then, and now that she had sworn her loyalty to Jason, she allowed something like this to happen again! Stella had failed again!

’Jason! Jason, speak to me! Jason!’

Gina was looking down at Jason as tears rolled down her cheeks! Jason’s face was twisted in pain, and Gina could feel Jason growing colder as she held him! No matter how much Gina called out, Jason wasn’t responding through their mental link, and Gina could feel her connection with Jason through the Necromancer system growing weaker! Gina needed to do something! Jason couldn’t die here!

Meanwhile, within Jason’s mind, another battle was taking place. A black corrosive entity was surging across Jason’s body and mind! It was attempting to take control of Jason’s subconscious, and as it moved, it began to seep into the Alternate Dimension! Jason’s subconscious was standing within the Alternate Dimension, and he looked up in worry as he saw the darkness traveling towards him! Jason tried over and over again to take control of his mind and body, but he could feel the control slipping from his grasp at a rapid pace! Jason could hear Gina calling out his name, but no matter how much Jason tried, he couldn’t reach out to her, and Jason could also not connect to any of his subordinates! It felt like his mind had been completely taken over, and the Necromancer system was slowly being pulled away from him!

’What the hell happened to me? Was it because the woman bit me? Was she some sort of vampire? Fuck, if she bit me, then doesn’t that mean I’m turning into a vampire? That ungrateful bitch!’

Jason felt a surge of anxiety rising in his heart as he realised that his entire life was about to come to an end! The darkness surging across Jason’s Alternate Dimension was like a parasite that was taking over his mind, and as Jason looked at the darkness, he had a feeling that the moment he allowed the darkness to completely consume his world, he would lose everything! Jason could already feel his powers slipping away from him, and he couldn’t sense a connection with anything that the darkness had already covered! His mind was being corroded at an extremely fast rate, and even his mana was going out of control! Jason needed to figure out something quickly!

Jason frowned as he looked around, but he was surprised when he suddenly felt a strange power flowing into his body and giving him a boost in strength! Jason looked up in shock as he realised that someone was sending mana into his body, and he immediately recognised the mana as Stella’s own! Outside Jason’s body, Stella had her hand on Jason’s chest as she sent as much mana into him as possible! Stella knew that it might be a futile effort, but she couldn’t just sit there and do nothing while watching her prince die! Jason’s mana was very special since he was an Avaran, and there was almost no one who would be able to support him with mana like this, but since Stella had mana that was similar to his own, her mana was able to easily seep into his core and replenish the mana that he was losing! Jason could feel the darkness slowing down as Stella’s mana gave him some more time to think!

Jason grinned in thanks as he immediately went back to trying to figure out what he could do to stop this darkness once and for all!

But before Jason could even enjoy the temporary benefits of Stella’s quick thinking, Jason felt his heart skip a beat as he noticed something within the darkness! It was a tall, mysterious figure that wore a long coat over its body that swayed gently within the dark winds. The figure moved forward like a phantom, and in its left hand, it held a long, curved scythe! Jason’s heart immediately began to race as he recognized exactly who that was! The Grim Reaper was here! What the fuck was he doing here!?
