Chapter 101: Chapter 101: Beneath the Nightfall

Two hours slid by, but Wang Xuan still hadn’t returned, which made some disciples at the Mountain Gate a bit anxious, especially those younger ones who lacked patience.

They thought that coming to the Otherworld meant constant battles, constant slaughter, killing foes with weapons in hand, and sweeping through Otherworld enemies.

But now, they understand that there are many strong beings in the Otherworld, requiring them to be cautious. Each action isn’t as historical as recorded in the books.

There’s no stirring music; now, it’s unusually calm and peaceful.

The likes of Wang Xuan’s fire might be worth a tome, but in action it merely released a few Firebirds while the rest of the time was spent observing, scouting, ensuring safety and avoiding enemy detection.

"If everyone could ignite a fire like Wang Xuan, this trip to the Otherworld would be worthwhile, with considerable fortune bestowed by the Mother Star."

Zhang Qingyu was somewhat envious of Wang Xuan, now wishing he could set fire to this forest, the gains from such an act would undoubtedly be significant.

But he knew he couldn’t act recklessly.

A simultaneous fire in two areas would be suspicious, surrounded and intercepted by enemies without full understanding of the Otherworld poses a substantial risk.

"Just wait, keep vigilant, release mechanical creatures for surveillance, activate scanners for alertness, don’t be careless," Lei Tingzhi said.

More mature Sealers had patience, knowing the risk this time. The early stage was just the beginning; once Aliens discovered and hunted them, then would the real difficult and dangerous period commence.

This Otherworld journey included many young talents: Zhuang Shuixing and Gumeng from Immortal Martial Mountain, Zhuge Xian, Chen Hong from Eight Dragon Temple, Zhang Qingyu from Celestial Master’s Mansion, Hua Nian from True Martial Mountain, with Fang Wuji and Gai Zhushen from Celestial Sword Mountain.

Among the Sealers were Wang Huatian from Immortal Martial Mountain, from Wang Xuan’s family line, along with Liu Weiyang and Long Jiyuan, with Jing Yishui and Lei Tingzhi from Celestial Sword Mountain.

They gathered to discuss ways to cause significant destruction, knowing manpower was limited, and the weapons they held weren’t overly powerful either.

Yet if leveraging time and terrain to destroy through mountain fires or floodgate-style leverage, even with just a hundred people, how many Otherworldly People could they kill with billions of enemies?

Moreover, Aliens have many strong beings, and acting recklessly would ensure encountering Alien strong.

Each member of the Eight-armed Celestial King Race is tall, at least two meters, with stronger bloodlines signifying higher status and greater power.

Two-armed can grow up to twenty meters tall, combat power comparable to Blood Exchange Realm cultivators, four-armed up to fifty meters, comparable to Divine Treasure Realm cultivators, six-armed up to ninety meters, comparable to Earth Immortal First Realm cultivators, while Eight-armed Celestial King stands at three hundred meters tall, combat power not inferior to Peak of Earth Immortal.

This is the ascending path of the Eight-armed Celestial King Race, ever constant; however, now, aided by world fortune, the race’s king surpassed this realm, reaching another level.

This has never been seen in history.

Several youths used scanners to survey creatures within several kilometers of their vicinity, dispatching mechanical creatures to observe, discovering many oddly-shaped creatures.

Half-meter-long arthropod insects scattered in dark spots, a sudden appearance outside attracted flying birds. They even found a giant python twenty meters long in a day.

"These creatures, despite a similar size, are far less powerful than beasts or Fierce Beasts on the Mother Star, likely due to differences in Spiritual Qi and the World Origin disparity, thus naturally birthing such beings."

Zhang Qingyu watching the giant python on the screen frowned after a while. The snake was peculiar, constantly eating, having hunted twice in half an hour, yet it remained scrawny.

Last time, he was defeated by Wang Xuan using his spirit, having been guided by his master, grew much, filled with determination, hoping to defeat Wang Xuan and regain his confidence.

Soon, a herd of deer passed by, some with unusually large antlers, appearing weak though clearly large-boned, supposed to be robust.

The youth also discussed such oddities, suspecting unknown secrets within.

"Eh!? This tiger’s muscles are unusually visible," Zhang Qingyu saw a tiger at human height attacking deer, swift and powerful.

The muscles couldn’t be concealed by fur, bulging outwards like injected muscle monsters, exceptionally fierce.

"Perimeter guards, use Laser Gun to kill approaching beasts, then use the Super Energy Cannon to deal with corpses on exit,"

Long Jiyuan whispered to junior Liu Weiyang, simultaneously directing their junior brothers. Despite being well hidden, their hiding spot was ten meters long and wide, with occasional beasts passing by.

Mindful of Zhang Qingyu’s discovery, they also kept it in mind; in the Otherworld, they were disliked by the Eight-armed Celestial King Realm’s origin, guaranteed misfortune, hence more cautiousness.

Half an hour passed, and the overly muscular tiger moved toward them, seemingly patrolling his territory.

Zhang Qingyu was very confident in the secrecy of his location, equipped with Taoist Talismans, able to conceal aura.

The tiger’s eyes flashed, staring at the ridge, but instantly a beam shot out, piercing through its brain in a blink, killed by a disciple from Immortal Martial Mountain.

"Done." A sixteen-year-old boy was very satisfied with his Spear Technique.

Yet he didn’t notice that the once muscular tiger’s body quickly shriveled, soon becoming a dried corpse, its bodily essence absorbed completely.

Then several sticky fluids wriggled out from the tiger’s head, soon decomposing into countless fragments, wriggling silently across the ground.

While waiting, they noticed two figures in the distance, scanning revealed one was Wang Xuan easing their minds.

"Splat!"

An otherworldly youth, somewhat scrawny, was tossed to the ground by Wang Xuan, scattering leaves, waking jolted by pain.

"Who are you?" Isuru shouted, but was quickly silenced by the sword hilt from Lei Tingzhi, choking unable to speak.

"Is this the tongue caught?" asked Lei Tingzhi.

This was their first time seeing a member of the Eight-armed Celestial King Race, curiosity piqued, they gathered forming a circle around the Celestial youth.

Wang Xuan tossed aside the watchdog-like creature, spoke, "Found in a village, he lives alone, his disappearance unnoticed, my move didn’t alert anyone, even returning him wouldn’t cause trouble."

His action was smooth, maintaining covert identity.

Soon Wang Xuan began to hypnotize the Celestial youth, officially and deeply. Five minutes passed, the youth completely lowered his guard.

"I’ll ask him about Celestial language, pay attention," Wang Xuan said.

In the Otherworld, the language barrier was a big issue, but each possessing agile mind, robust memory, enhanced through cultivation boosting learning and memory capacities, mastering a language in days wasn’t an issue.

"Tell me, how do you say eyes, nose, ears?" Wang Xuan, hypnotizing, used Mental Power to convey intention, encountering slight barriers but no problem.

While he asked, the youth responded slowly at first, nearly ten seconds for each word or term, mostly spent transmitting messages mentally.

As Wang Xuan accumulated vocabulary, he began interspersing Celestial language inquiries, speeding up learning.

Time ticked away, Wang Xuan remembered each word the youth uttered, two hours later already conversing normally with the Alien. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

This uncanny speed and ability amazed Zhang Qingyu, Lei Tingzhi, and others. If left to them, even aided by AI in data collection and analysis, a week would be needed to organize the Alien language.

But now, even the Sealers had learned about half, thankfully the conversation was recorded, AI automatically gathering and analyzing data, Wang Xuan supplementing parts, compiling the Celestial language into a book for them to study.

The hundred individuals rapidly learned the Alien language, each progressing swiftly; the young Alien squatted on the side holding his pet, somewhat dazed and bewildered.

Beside him was the Laser Gun wielded by the boy who killed the exceedingly muscular tiger, similarly engrossed under dim light.

Yet he felt his arm itch, scratching it and pondering how his well-known body could itch inexplicably?

Blood Qi slightly circulated, discovering an abnormality in his arm, exposing white spots attached to his arm.

Accidentally noticing, Isuru suddenly thought of something, pointed at the individual, his face overtaken with terror.
