"I’ll keep that in mind," Instructor Jacob said. He was going to watch out for the threats as well. There are people out there who are against them.

Then Instructor Jacob and Ariel spoke about another topic.

After a few minutes, they parted ways.

Time passed.

When it was midnight, Jeremy Night left the dorm building. He was heading toward the Department Building.

In the middle of the night, he was walking alone. There were no people on the pavement. Jeremy felt excited. It was the first time for him to explore City A in the middle of the night.

He reached the Department Building a few minutes later. Then he saw Betsy Lowe was already standing there waiting for him.

"You are early," Betsy Lowe said.

"It seems you are more enthusiastic about this," he jokingly replied.

Betsy smiled, but she said nothing. Her family had instructed her to do well in the Striker Department. At the same time, she was also interested in seeing the Corrupted Tier-4 Beasts in reality.

She had also heard from her grandfather and parents. She hadn’t seen one in real life. Both of them stood there without much talking.

After a few minutes,

Instructor Jacob arrived at the place. After seeing Jeremy and Betsy, he was surprised. He thought that youngsters would arrive late.

But these two came ahead of him. The next second, he looked at them and said, "You guys are here. Then let’s leave right away."

Then all three of them left the campus and appeared outside. Jeremy Night had already booked an air taxi. It came shortly after their arrival.

The three of them hopped inside the vehicle.

Jeremy’s eyes were looking at the skyscrapers. The whole city was awake at night, if not for the fewer number of people on the road.

He would have mistaken it for not being the middle of the night.

After starting the vehicle, the driver asked about the destination.

"Take us to the arena," Jacob simply said.

The driver’s eyes flickered, but he understood immediately. It’s not a place that an ordinary person can visit.

Seeing that they were from Central University 14, he relaxed. Then the driver started to drive. The taxi rose above the ground and began flying toward the destination on the lane.

Jeremy Night didn’t fail to notice the fear in the driver’s eyes. He sighed inwardly. He came from a somewhat good background. But still, he thought that place was dangerous for him.

He could only imagine the situation of ordinary people.

Betsy Lowe was looking at the passing scene outside through the window.

Instructor Jacob was not willing to speak inside the taxi. He didn’t want the driver to eavesdrop on anything.

The whole journey was silent.

About a few minutes later,

They reached their destination. The air taxi landed in front of the dome-shaped building. Instructor Jacob and the others stepped out.

Jacob paid the amount. The driver left without saying anything.

Jeremy had been observing from the beginning. He saw no one here as well apart from them.

"Let’s go inside. People who have bought tickets must have entered already," Jacob said.

Jeremy and Betsy followed him from behind. When they entered the building, there was a staff member behind the desk asking for the tickets.

Hearing that, Jacob showed the online tickets. The staff checked the three tickets. After making sure everything was fine, the staff gave them three masks to cover their faces.

Jacob received the masks and passed them to Jeremy and Betsy. All three of them were in casual clothes but not in the University uniform.

Jeremy wore the mask. It was a simple black mask. Except for the two hollow spots for eyes, there was nothing fancy about the mask.

Betsy Lowe looked at the mask nervously. Before coming here, she had been excited. But all of a sudden, she felt nervous right now.

The whole building setup here was quiet and eerie.

Jacob saw her uneasiness.

He said, "Don’t worry, we have come here to watch the matches. We are just audiences."

Betsy’s heart calmed down after hearing that. She then wore the mask. Then one of the staff led them to the arena.

They came to the elevator and stepped inside.

Jeremy’s eyes flashed with interest. The lift, instead of going upwards, went downwards. Jeremy was startled. Then he recalled the dome structure of the place.

Not only him; Betsy was surprised as well.

Jacob was calm. He had been here before, so he was not intimidated by the atmosphere. He was one of the Higher Tier Beast Tamers as well.

Shortly afterward,

The lift touched the bottom.

Creak!

The lift door opened. Then everyone walked out. In front of them was a long corridor that led to the arena.

Jeremy’s eyes flickered. He was finally going to watch the duel. When they came to the end of the corridor, he saw a large audience seated around the wide platform.

It was much larger than the training platform in the University Training Room. It was like they were simulating a wilderness duel.

Transparent glass walls were built at the edge of the platforms. The audience could watch the duel without much hindrance.

Right now, the platform was empty. The challenger had yet to arrive.

"Let’s go to our seats," Jacob said.

The staff then led them toward their respective seats, which were in the last row close to the exit. After arriving at the seats, the staff said a few words before leaving.

Jeremy took the first seat, Betsy sat next to him, and then Jacob sat in the third seat. Then Jeremy took notice of the others around them as well.

Everyone was wearing masks. It was not easy to distinguish their identities. Even if they did, there was no point because people who could come here were not ordinary people.

The tickets were expensive. Even Jacob had paid a high amount to buy three tickets. It was only possible because of his strength and status as an instructor at the University.
