STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer-Chapter 665: Erik’s suggestion!
5th Zone, City A
Wilderness
The three illegal gang members died without knowing what happened. Only Erik and his falcon were in a dumbfounded state.
Swoosh!
Jeremy appeared before them in a flash. Seeing that both of them were alright, he sighed in relief. He was fortunate that he had made it in time.
Under their shocked gazes, he took healing herbs and liquid from his storage ring and gave it to them.
Erik was confused. Then, he recognized the uniform of the Red Moon Chamber. Only then did his tensed mind relax.
He consumed the healing herbs, then fed some to the Falcon bird.
Shortly afterwards, Erik's complexion turned better, and the Falcon Bird's bleeding stopped.
As time went by, Erik's disturbed mind became clear. His heart calmed down. Then, he opened his eyes and glanced at the young man in front of him.
A glint appeared in his eyes. He saw through the strength of the young man. Once again, a ripple appeared in his heart. He knew he was not weak.
But the young man in front of him had just shot the enemies to death. They were all Tier-4 Beast Tamers. He felt apprehension.
"Forgive me, I don't know your name?" Erik asked.
The Falcon Bird was relaxed. It didn't sense any bad intentions from the helper; it was focused on recovery.
Jeremy sighed. He didn't plan on revealing himself earlier, but if he had left them alone here, there was a possibility of someone or an illegal group killing them.
"Jeremy Night," he said.
"Jeremy?" Erik frowned. He tried to recall the memory.
It didn't take long for him to remember everything. His expression changed drastically.
"You..."
"Are you a newcomer?"
"How come your strength is so strong?" Erik asked in disbelief.
The Falcon bird was hearing the conversation as well.
Jeremy had already thought of a plan. He was not going to tell the truth.
"Senior, you are overthinking!"
"I used a powerful treasure given by my family elders. It can only be used against Tier-5 Beast Tamers and below," Jeremy said with a smile.
Hearing that, Erik was dumbfounded. Then he took a few seconds to realize that he was right. He had over-exaggerated.
"It must be because of the fear earlier. Now, I understand," Erik replied.
The Falcon bird realized that it was fooled as well.
Jeremy sighed inwardly.
"Senior, then I'm leaving," he replied.
"Junior, what are you doing here?"
"Let's go back to the city together. We can both recover our strength soon," Erik said in a solemn tone.
"Senior, I came here to experience the wilderness. But I encountered a terrifying beast on the way, so I escaped this far," Jeremy replied.
Hearing that, Erik was shocked. He understood. Head Harold must have given permission because he could sense the junior was close to becoming a Tier-3 Beast Tamer.
It was normal for someone like the junior to enter the wilderness. Besides, the Junior had sacrificed the family treasure to save him.
"Okay, let's go back." After saying that, Erik closed his eyes to recover.
Jeremy's eyes flickered. If he behaved adamantly about leaving alone, it would raise doubtful questions. So, he decided to leave with Erik.
Maybe midway he could get a chance to leave.
Time went by.
Erik recovered somewhat one hour later. His mental power was regained slightly, so he immediately recalled the lifeline beast.
The Falcon Beast disappeared from the spot and entered his mental zone. Erik then stood up and thanked Jeremy Night.
Jeremy Night sighed inwardly. He just had to cooperate now. Then, they left the place.
Swoosh!
Both of them continued to go through the dense forest. Jeremy could tell that the senior didn't want to use the Falcon bird. The Falcon bird was resting right now.
A few hours later, they reached the border of the inner area. After crossing the border, they could go back to the city.
"Senior, what happened to your lifeline beast?" Jeremy asked. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
He hoped for the Falcon Beast to recover.
Erik said, "I don't want to bring my beast outside. What if there is another ambush?"
Hearing that, Jeremy understood. He didn't expect Erik to stick around so long.
"Help!"
Suddenly, there was a loud cry for help.
Both of them turned around. Since it was a dense forest, there was no visibility. But they could judge that the sound was heard not far away from them.
"Junior brother," Erik's expression changed drastically.
Jeremy Night was stunned. He didn't expect Erik to recognize the voice.
"Jeremy, do you have any treasure left?"
"It seems to be the voice of my junior brother," Erik asked in a solemn tone.
"Senior, I already used my treasure. I can't help you," Jeremy replied.
"Sigh!"
"It can't be helped. You go back to the city. If you follow the same path, you will reach the city in two hours," Erik said in a solemn tone.
"Thank you for your concern, brother. I'll be going." After saying that, Jeremy left the spot.
Erik waited until he was gone. Then he rushed towards the voice. He wanted to know what happened to his junior brother. He thought it could be an ambush.
On the other hand, Jeremy didn't leave completely. He went around before moving towards the source of the voice. He was going to watch the situation from a distance.
It didn't take long for him to reach a good distance. From there, he could observe the situation with his eyesight.
He then saw what was going on. He saw a middle-aged man fighting against an old man from the Skull Gang. He furrowed his eyebrows.
The old man was not ordinary; instead, he was a Tier-5 Beast Tamer. He saw that the middle-aged man was a Tier-5 Beast Tamer as well.
"Then why is Senior Erik calling him Junior brother?" Jeremy thought.
He thought that the middle-aged man looked slightly younger than Erik. He then continued to observe.
A quick gleam flashed in his eyes. There were no lifeline beasts nearby. What happened to their lifeline beasts?
Boom!
He heard a loud fighting sound from another place. His eyes flickered with understanding.
